(If you want to listen to the song above, it gives you an understand of what's being sung in the scene. Not necessary as not all lines are present to keep the story flowing. Read authors notes to understand why I did this chapter.)

One week till the show and things were looking up. Sets were up, costumes were in, props were done. Tonight was the last run before tech week, and the first night with everything together, including a costume run.

You loved your main costume, that being Mrs Dodds. You had a ugly blue top with black business pants and a gray sweater. This outfit made you look like an ugly old lady, that is except for the pink wig and black wings.

"Alright everyone, places!" Mrs Shimmer, who was the director and one of your shop teachers, said.

You smiled as you got to your place on stage right, along with many of the other actors. The first Sean was in a museum-like space where you would fight Percy before rolling off the stage. You were quite excited, and couldn't wait to fall onto the giant blue inflated matrices.

It wasn't long before music started to play and the kids portraying demigods walked onto the stage. You and April, Who was playing Mr Brunner, watched and waited for them to come running back. Once they were all back you helped push April, who was in a wheelchair for the opening number, onto the stage when cooper, who was playing Percy Jackson, sang "we were on this freaking field trip."

"Freaking trip!" You all sang as you pushed April onto the stage before stepping onto the small platform.

The set was made up of 7 different platforms. One on the ground on stage right, another 1 foot higher with stairs leading to it. Then next was 5 feet off the ground. There was a 7 foot tall one center stage. That led to another 4 foot tall wich lead to a 3 foot tall one stage left. Another, smaller 1 foot tall one laid in front of it. The one you were on, 7 foot, and 3 foot tall platforms each had screens behind them to show the scene.

"We were geeking out on ancient Greek at the New York Metropolitan Museum of art." You all sang super quickly. You had an evil look on your face as the other actors roamed around the stage, pretending to be amazed by the projected statues.

When Cooper sang your name, you smiled wickedly at the audience, which was made up of the dance instructor Mr Bernard, the assistant director Mrs honey, and Mrs shimmer.

"The Greek god's" April explained through their lines "titans of earth, sea, and sky! But even they were children once. And they didn't have it easy! There father,"

"Kronos!" You sang out loud to the audience in a deep yet high pitch voice.

"Yes, fears the day his children will inherit the earth, so what did he do? Anyone?"

You wait for your cue in the music to change "he ate them!" Let out a small laugh at the end.

"Ah, thank you Mrs Dodds. But! One child, Zeus, escaped and devised a plan to rescue his brothers and sisters! He tricked"

"Kronos"

"into eating a rock. And what did Kronos do?"

You raised your hand.

"Anyone? any student?"

"He vomited them up." You then laughed until Cooper started to sing, making everyone freeze in place. You had an awful face that looked like you were about to sneeze.

"Not deeply weird." Everyone unfroze and begins to huddle around cooper. You, on the other hand, made your way up to the seven foot tall platform. Heights were not something you were fond of, but after doing the climb so many times, this didn't feel as bad as the catwalk at the end of term one.

"Baaaah" Emma, who was playing Grover, said as she sat down next to cooper. You stop on the top of the platform and observe the other actors admiring the screens. It was nice to play the bad guy, feeling like you had all the power.

Once they were done singing about peanut butter sandwiches being thrown at peoples heads, you looked over at Cooper and screamed "Percy jackson."

"I knew something was up, when I heard my name get yelled."

"The day it all went down- the day I got expelled." All the students said as they rushed off stage.

"Mr Jackson, please come see me by the Sphynx" you gesture with your head from him to join you.

He climbs the stairs and says "Look if this is about Nancy Bobafit, she only hates me because I stopped her from wedgieing the first graders."

"I've heard much about you, Percy Jackson." You say turning to him as he reaches the platform.

"Really? That's very dedicated for a substitute.."

"Kicked out of five schools in six years, one might question your" you tap your Pinter finger to your cheack as if to think "parentage?"

"Hay, don't talk about my mom-" he got all defensive

"And your father, that's right you don't know who he is" you trun way from him and start laughing. You then grab your black paper wings. Once he says "you have something growing out of your-" you turn around and pretend to attack him.
You run at him causing him to jump onto the 4 foot tall platform. You then jump onto it lifting your wing up from him to run back onto the platform you both were just on. You go back to chase him but instead he rushed across and onto the 3 foot tall platform.

"Watch out, Percy!" April said as they rolled across the stage chucking a pen at copper.

"Mr Brunner, what am I supposed to do with a pen." He then leans down and a crew person trades it for a sword. As he grabbed it you stepped on your long wings causing you to slip a little causing you to misstep onto the lower platform. This movement, along with Cooper grabbing the sword causes you to get hit on the chin with it. Thankfully it was plastic but it still felt like a punch to the face. You wince when it hits you and you grab your chin.

"Y/n, you alright?" Cooper asks, lowering her sword.

You shake your head yes, but your chin was saying no. You were trying to stay strong, trying to be brave in front of everyone but evenly the water works made their way though. You hold up a fist signaling to stop everything.

"Cut the music!" Mrs. Shimmer said and the music stopped.

Cooper helped you down off of the platform. Mrs honey came up onto the stage and directed you to the back hallway, which was actually your shop hallway. She had you sit down as she looked at it. Some students came over and were asking if you were alright. You said yes while Mrs honey asked them to give you space. Except for Derek, who went to get you an ice pack.

"Let me see?" You moved your hand and it was all red and a bit swollen to the touch. "Does it hurt?"

"Yes." You say with tears.

"Can you move it?" You open and close your jaw a few times, even moving it side to side. Yet everything seems fine.

"It feels alright, it just hurts." You say starting to calm down a bit.

Derek had come back at this point and handed you a not very cold ice pack. "It's what I could find, and all Mrs. Shimmer had."

"Thanks." You take the ice pack and place it against your face. It was definitely gonna be bruised in the morning, unless you could get one of the villains to help you.

"I would normally say for your call a parental to come get you but-" she really was at a loss for words in this situation.

"If it's alright, I'll call one of my nabors to get me. I'm really not in the mood to be here right now."

"If you're sure, I don't want you to feel like you have to go home."

"I get it, but I'll be fine at home." You wipe your eyes clean of tears and ask for Derek to retrieve your phone from your stuff. He does and brings you your phone. You pull up one of the main home numbers and click the call button. It rang a few times before someone picked up.

"Hello." It was Maleficent who answered.

"Hay Ms Mallory" you say being one of the first names that pops in your head.

"Y/n, is that you?"

"Yes, and I had a bit of an accident tonight. I got hit in the face with a sword and-"

"You what?!" She shouted on the other line.

"I'm fine, it was plastic. I just need someone to come get me. It hurts but it's not broken. It will probably just be bruised for a while."

"Very well, I shall send someone to pick you up."

"Thanks." You then hang up the phone and look at Ms Mallory "she's on her way."

"Alright, I'll wait with you till she gets here. In the meantime why don't you get out of costume."

You do as she said, taking off your costume and hanging it back up befor going and sitting back down. Just as she said Mrs honey stayed with you the hole time till your ride came. 15 minutes later you received a text on your phone stating that your ride was here. You get up and grab your jacket and backpack. You thank Mrs honey befor heading out to the parking lot. Driver tonight, like most nights, was cruella. You open the passenger door and hop in.

"Rehearsal ended early-" when you turned to look at her, her jaw practically dropped to the floor. "What in fashion's name happened to your face?!"

"A sword" you say rather calmly.

"A what?!"

"It was fake."

"And you're just alright with this?"

"No, but I've learned to live with pain. Besides, it was both our faults."

"But still-"

You sigh and lean back in the passenger seat, crossing your arms "Can we just talk about this when we get home?"

"Alright." She brought her eyes back to the road and put the car in drive. Ten minutes later you pulled into the driveway of your home. You grab your bag and follow cruell inside the side door. There, around the dining room table was Gothel, Maleficent, Hades, and jafar. They all looked over at you and were practically fuming.

"Atlest she's in one piece." Jafar said.

Hades had gotten up and rushed over. He lifted your chin with his smoke-like hand to look at it, making sure not to touch the bruise. "A kid did this to you, again?"

You back away allowing your head to fall back to rest. "At Least it wasn't Spencer this time. But it was both mine and Percy's fault."

"Percy?" They all question.

"Sorry, during shows I call people by their character. His name is Cooper, he plays Percy in the show." You the prosed to tell them the story of how you were hit in the face with a sword. "And then cruella got me and now I'm here."

"Oh you poor thing. You really must stop hurting yourself." Gothel sated.

"What can I say, I'm just a magnet for injuries." You say with a smile, but no one was laughing.

"Alright people back it up, I need to make sure the girl's alright." Mad said as he entered the room.

"Mad I'm fine, one of the teachers there said it's just a bruise."

"And were they a medical professional?"

You thought for a moment. She was usually the one to help with injuries but you weren't sure if they had done first-aid training.  "Well, no but-"

"Just sit."

With a sigh you sit down in an empty chair as mad gets to work. He took a good look at it, poking around causing you to wince every now and then. "Good news is it's not broken, but I don't think the creams gonna work this time."

"It's probably better that way, after all several people witnessed it and we don't want them getting suspicious."

"Still, you should keep ice on it."

"That much I can do."

"Alright, I'll go get you some." With that he went to to grab an Ice pack from the freezer.

"Y/n, are you sure theater is a good thing for you to be doing?" Maleficent asked.

"Psh, mal this is a one time thing, besides it's not the first bruise if come home with. Last show was puffs and a bruised up both of my knees. Atlest I dident brake them."

"You what?"

"One day I was running to the bus stop, and landed smack dab on my knee. Shattered it and was in a split for 6 weeks." You say with a smile like it was a joke.

They all gave you concerned looks.

"Relax, it's healed now."

"You weren't kidding when you said your brain was wired differently." Gothel said.

"Ya, you really need a better sense of humor." Jafar added.

"Maybe it's best if you don't do the show." Mal added.

"No, I'm doing the show, even if my chin is bruised." You hmph and slunched in your chair. Boy was this gonna be a long week of arguing. But hopefully at the end it will all be worth it. After all you'll be playing a villain, like your idols. And that's what you wanted to be, just like them, right?

Hay everyone, long time no see. Sorry about the wait, life's been busy. But I hope you all like this chapter. Fun fact, this event actually happened to me week out our production going up. So what better then to make you go though it to hehehe. I'm so cruel! Anyways, I'm hoping to upload more to this story, I'm just struggling a bit.
