When An Introvert Speaks (Letters of Gratitude, Love, Hope, Grief, Resentment)

I'm the kind of person who tends to miss the dearest people in my life!I wrote these letters because I missed them and I dunno how to give them to the recipients! I was fond of giving letters in my Elementary days. No matter how much I love to do it again today, I know I can't! People don't really prefer writing letters anymore! Ahahaha! I'm glad I was able to give letters to my Korean students! I love it!Also, this is my new way of expressing the longing, love, pain, sadness, happiness and anger that I feel! I didn't write the real names of the people in the letters, only their initials! (Some) Of course, I want them to read this but I kinda have this feeling to make them wonder if the letter is for him/her! The Pages I've Turned [Book Reviews]

This book is about the books I've read. I started writing my thoughts about the books I read in 2022. Writing reviews isn't my cup of tea but writing small notes about it is interesting. I decided to start doing this since I don't trust my mind to remember stuff. Giving birth has its downside but the experience is fulfilling and exhilarating! I used to tell someone about the book by its title. Their amazement upon knowing how great my memory was an enjoyment to me. So, here I am, attempting to jot down notes to keep track of my bookish adventure. I can only wish I did this years ago as a young reader.

I dream about something at night often. I used to put the names of the people I saw in my dreams but I put it to a stop cos it felt like I was writing people who would die. I tend to be the most pessimistic person on Earth at times. I never fail to think negatively. However, I start to change my perception and the way I see things. I try my very best to think positive thoughts. I enjoy reading inspirational and motivational stories. Several of them put me in tears but with great lessons in the end. Movie Reviews/Lessons

I love watching movies and I don't write reviews nor rate movies (as well as books) cos I'm not a critic. I watch movies for entertainment. I might notice some bad acting and qualities but I don't judge and dwell on the negative aspects of the movies that I watched. I love learning life lessons from the movies. I started to jot them down this year (I don't write them most of the time, though 😅). I'll keep in mind to write them when there's one. However, I thought of writing something about movies lately. It's a sort of remembrance. I'd like something to look back to about a particular movie in the future. I won't write reviews of all the movies I will watch. I'm not a movie critic and will never be. I might write a negative comment or two but it will be something that gets me confused. Anyways, too much for blabbing. Culture Shock in America

I've been wanting to make a list of things that are new to me when I arrived in the US. Culture shock is not an unusual occurrence in someone's life when they visit a foreign country. I'm willing to share my experiences here. I know that comparing the Philippines (a third-world country) from America (a first-world country) isn't a wise thing to do as they are too different from each other in many aspects. However, we can't ignore the cultural differences between the two countries. I won't criticize the differences in any of the countries rather commend the positive ones and be more understanding with the ones that aren't pleasant to follow. America is the first foreign country that I've been to and there are things here that I wished the Philippines implemented. I will tell you beforehand that there are hundreds of laws, rules and restrictions here that I find ridiculous and there are some that I'm glad they have here. I believe that without laws, a country is doomed to a more chaotic system. People are disciplined and the system is organized if a country is strictly implementing laws. It's just funny when they claim America is the land of free that has hundreds of laws, rules and restrictions! No wonder people break them as they are free to do it. Never condone it, though! It is said that people in America break laws in a day. They don't get arrested to some of them, pay fine when get caught or just get away with it. However, I commend how the country is organized (especially the traffic laws) and most of the people are disciplined.So, here are some of the differences that I observed living in the US for 2 years. Kpop Fangirl

When you are an avid fan you write things from your heart, stating things like being with your idol forever and how much you love them. It's impossible for them to happen in reality. Your idol doesn't know you exist and there you are writing letters to express your feelings knowing there's no way he can read it. You write things on how much you idolize, adore, support and love them. Well, that's the life of fangirls. Let them be! They will stop writing love letters to them once they find their real life love. Eventually! Like me! As I read back the letters I happily wrote years ago, I found out how romantic I am. I even asked myself, 'How in the world did I ever write them?' It baffled me! Did I write them? Maybe I was possessed by a spirit, my past life? Then a thought struck me, I'm a writer! :PThose very sweet words and things I feel them to my hubby for almost six months. There's a big difference now. He knows I exist. We made memories together. We plan to spend the rest of our lives together forever. I'm madly, crazily and truly in love with him. Where's Yuchae who find Korean men attractive? *slowly hides* Ahahaha! To be honest, adoring Kpop idols and other men is not in my vocabulary anymore. I adore my fiance more than those people I watch on TV and stage. The love I have for him is the strongest! I stop fangirling! I have all my attention and affection to my hubby. :* I'm still a Kpop fan and will always be. I still listen to Korean songs and watch Korean movies and dramas. No one can take the love of doing them away from me! I've been loving Kpop, Korean dramas and movies for 12 years and I would never think of turning my back to them. They've been with me through sad and happy days. I decided to minimize my fangirling life. sad and happy days. I decided to minimize my fangirling life.
