Mr. Loverman
Midoriya Izuku thought it was a curse to not have a Quirk. As he grew up watching the U.A. hero course students from his place in general studies, he instead invested his time into learning to play piano - what some might have called a useless skill. Now, after he's finished university, he's a full-time musician who goes by the pseud 'Mr. Loverman', with number three pro hero Ground Zero as his bodyguard. What happens when the League comes back to town after years of being dormant, and their primary target is Loverman?Or, the one where Izuku is a Quirkless musician and Shouto gets roped into being a bodyguard.This work is complete as of right now and is ~100K! Like Friends Do
Midoriya and Todoroki are similar in the sense that neither of them had real "friends" growing up. Midoriya was an easy target for bullies, being Quirkless; Todoroki pushed away friendship at his father's wishes for him to train with his Quirk. If some of their behaviors are a little more than friendly, neither of them have stopped to notice - or perhaps to care.A.K.A. the one where they shamelessly toe the line between platonic and romantic.Originally posted on AO3!!
