Beautifully Broken
"I'm tired." I whisper, my voice breaking. "I can't do this anymore. It's too much."He pulls me closer and holds me as he always does. "You're a strong girl. People look up to you, Mina. You'll get through this, okay? You're not alone. You're a beautiful girl and you have us." I shake my head. "If ever I am, I'm just another pretty girl that's broken inside." He holds me tighter and I feel his chin resting on my head as I break down in his arms. "Well, I guess you're beautifully broken then." I sob, my body heaving at the pain, wondering how he always sees beauty in an ugly broken girl.***Just a little warning. My True Identity
Riaviona, also known as Ria, has been "imprisoned" in her castle ever since the death of her father. Her mother never even sees her except on her birthday. And she's never allowed to get out. Yes, she's tried. But she could never get away. She has no current friends. She only has her teacher/lady in waiting as her friend. But then one day her old best friends, before her "imprisonment", come up in disguises and plan to take her away. Her friends are part of a group wanting to protect her and yet want the queen off the throne. They claim that her mother is a tyrant. War is soon approaching, and they were to escape. Sudden
Shelly, Angel, Jill, Isabella, Vina, Maran, Sammy and Reyna were planning to have the best summer vacation ever. They arrived from the Philippines and would be going to college in Atlanta, Georgia. They were supposed to go to Florida and California for some sightseeing, and maybe even take a cruise. But an unexpected event turned their summer around. They were kidnapped and were brought to a place where they had to survive a cold, vast land on their own. Will they ever see their families again? Will they survive?
