Encroaching Darkness
Nearly five years after their escape from the dungeon, Adelia, Blasa, Tam, and Once have found a home with Tam's family. Happiness and hope surround them, but in the back of their minds burn questions that were never answered. Why them? Why did they survive when countless others didn't? What made them so special?For Blasa, her questions revolve around her mother's near-death experience and almost fatal fight of five years ago. What happened? Who hurt her? Why? Of Wax and Wings
Ikaros, the half human, half Aviatte boy living in the Aviatte cloud city Parnaia has always been viewed as an outcast because of his parentage. Daedalus, his father, is a well-known architect and craftsman who often travels down to the earth-bound cities of the humans, and the subterranean world of the Hadeans. However, because his mother was a human woman, Ikaros was born without the wings characteristic to the Aviatta subspecies. When he turns eighteen, Daedalus sends young Ikaros down to Earth in search of his mother, and along the way he meets Hephaestus, a Hadean girl with a talent for metalworking. Together, they must track down Ikaros' missing parent as well as learn about the world that separates Ikaros' cloud cities from Phae's underground settlements.
From Darkness
When Adelia wakes up in the dungeon cell, she has no memory of how she got there, or even who she is. All she knows is her name, and that there is a void in what used to be her memory. Fragments of whispers from the past and the hope of new friends are all she has to hold to. When his girlfriend is found unconscious on the side of the road, the first thing Alex does is rush to the hospital. But after two days of waiting, Alex is at a loss for what to do.
