Dystopian World
I felt it, before I heard it. Whipping winds blew in my face, and the loud noise blared in my ears, sounding like jet engines. I opened my eyes, and saw I was falling, fast. I was plummeting to the ground. My hair flew all over the place as I fell, declining to my death. I watched myself inch closer and closer to my death, my vision started to spot, and then once again blackness consumed me. -----------Orabelle Tate is a book nerd. She prefers her books over people any day. One day when Orabelle was in the library reading after hours, she saw a peculiar glow in the darkened room. She went to investigate and found a book. A book she's never seen before glowing. When she picked it up to read it; she was suddenly sucked into the book. -----------"Why does she look dead?" Cliff asked poking her calf with his index finger. "She's got a pulse," I said to him pulling the girl off my shoulder, and pulling her into a bridal style. "And that's a good thing?"
