Challenges of a Transwoman. Self introduction. This is not a workshop to sell values and lifestyle. Just to nurture some understandings about ts living and working in Malaysia. Not to represent any NGO or to glamorize transsexuals life style. To break some social constructs, emphasizing on SOGIE. Like you and me and the rest of living soul, TS needs to breathe and connect. How do we look at them? What are our perceptions? What do we wonder about them? Why we are too shy to ask? Did we end up by being politically correct just by saying, 'owh! yes I am fine, I understand you' without putting an effort to dig deeper. Parents? Are you prepared to welcome a transgender son and daughter? What will you do? How do you react? Will you be autocratic when it comes to gender and sexuality. Will you be embarrassed for the rest of your life? what option can you ts children have? What kind of family environment will you be providing her? Is it true, transwomen are only good in certain work field? Why are we so uncomfortable to work along side them? Are we scared of their over the top outfit? what is so different? Toilet sharing? Are we intimidated by them? Are they man snacthers? Do we associate all of them with prostitution? Individual attitudes towards life. let us take a look at a better perspective. Religious bodies and government policies. Id card, police, immigration rules. Explaining to young children what is a transwoman? Back to SOGIE. Sexual orientation Gender Identity and Expression. Sense of humor and understanding, how far can it go.

Oleh kerana dinding Independent sudah penuh dengan 200 artikel dan perkongsian, hal hal menulis akan mula di kongsikan di sini. Seperti biasa hal hal menulis yang sama sama dipelajari dan ditekuni diharapkan menjadi bantuan untuk para penulis pemula yang tidak berlatar belakang sastera sewaktu di sekolah menengah.Dewasa ini pelbagai kursus ditawarkan dengan yuran tertentu. Menulis adalah luahan dari mata hati yang peka pada persekitaran, ia tetap BUKAN hal syok sendiri yang dilayani penuh nafsu.Saluran ini mahu memberikan ide dan cerita dalam dunia penulisan tempatan, seperti biasa penulis mempunyai tanggungjawab terhadap penulisan, isi dan kemampuan untuk mempertahankan karya. CERITA CERITI
Each one of us has a story to tell. I cannot imagined telling you how wonderful to start with shorts before proceeding to Novel. Here i will be sharing some of my works. Some got published , some were borrowed by certain portals. I hope you enjoy it, some may not be full due to copyrights. The excerpts will more or less tell certain part of the full length stories. I have published an antology with Fixi, some of it were selected as Cerpen Terbaik in year 2015 and 2016. So far some of these shorts were included in Cerpen Hari Jumaat, Cukaria 2017 and some were selected to be published on Cukaria Portal by Fixi.
INDEPENDENT
Pendidikan? Lepas SPVM cemerlang ala ala anak orang kampung, mama mendapat tawaran ke Politeknik Ungku Omar, semua biasiswa kecil persekutuan dikeluarkan dari BSN, tanpa keluarga atau teman teman kerana anak orang susah, dan tidak mahu menyusahkan....pergilah sorang sorang tanya pula orang sebelah, akak kalau sampai ipoh bagi tau ya...saya tak pernah sampai lagi....graduation pun sorang sorang sebab adik beradik ramai rasa tidak adil.... kemudian selepas 10 tahun mama mengembara ke eropah sendirian...sendirian juga sekitar Asia. Sifat sifat semua terbentuk dengan cara itu...menilai sendiri, menangis sendiri dan penyelesaiannya juga sendiri... THAT IS THE PLEASURE OF BEING INDEPENDENT.

CONVERSATION
Conversation, what sort? Will you be able to tolerate?1. Me and me and my story alone?2. Pop talk about music, movie on people you hardly know?3. Deep political talk as if the minister is his/her uncle?4. Opinionated friend who got nothing to prove but jargons and pieces he/she read and you knew him/her well.5. A dummy with no reaction or expression?6. Fart jokes or that memorized common lines. bosan7. That nonadjustable loud speaker? He/she could be deaf.
SELFISH
IF ONLY I LIVE TO TELL...Do you think it will be fair? No doubt, I am an excellent storyteller. I will leave your jaw dropped with my tales of manipulated words and languages. It is going to be all about me, me and myself alone. I will pretend to include you a little to entice you a bit. Will it be fair? if it's all about my pains, my joys and my sole perspectives. Slowly you will fall in love with me and my journey. Because I am selfish and modest at the same time... (i knew the trick)Do you think it's fair? This path of selfish greed of maybe a self confessed victim, glamorous at certain times, annoyed by the world and so certain at many junctures of life. Do you think it's fair when around me I saw a lady with no money to buy food? Children salivating looking at another kids toys? That fat transsexual battling with body image? Or that quiet wife on the 9th floor with purple eyes each time her husband got drunk. Let me tell you straight my dear this world is NOT about me alone.Each one of us need to find balance for sure.
MODESTY
MODESTYIs a sacred word. I used it on many occasions when I was younger NOT knowing its subjectivity. Depending on experience, background and culture of a person. Could it be human's approval process too...???Pemela Anderson could be a very Modest figure in America.
AIR ASAM
AIR ASAM?What is it? Goodness why their tastebud has to be this difficult, Sarah murmured to herself. How to prepare it? Why Eddie and his family eat this way with their advent- garde life? When her 'to be in law' asked her to prepare it one weekend, she got so scared. Yes, Sarah is Malay with no trace of Irish blood at all...The easiest solution was, asking from Abang Mat that effeminate Makandam. "Hang ni pompuan apa Sarah? Bulan depan nak menikah pun tak reti lagi!" Sacarsticly he explained thoroughly what is it all about. How essentials air asam in Asia. It's a homemade prepared with tamarind juice. Laden with onion, tomatoes, chili (of your choice) sugar, shrimp paste and salt. According to Abang Mat, this sauce can be altered in thousand ways... depending on which country you are from. No limit, garlic can be added...fish sauce can be a substitute of belacan (shrimp paste). Asam means sour, it can be achieverd by using lime, lemon or any kind of sour fruits depending on what you have in the kitchen. You can even blend those ingredients if you want to..the sourness with tinges of salt, sugar and chilli will be your personal touch soon...Basically to be eaten with plain stim fish, fried fleshy fish, grilled meat or chicken. It's very Asian this AIR ASAM.
PERJALANAN
Sehari sebelum berlepas ke kuala lumpur dengan penerbangan tempatan, sewaktu duduk duduk minum petang dan melihat lukisan besar baru yang sedang disiapkan oleh Mama Regina. Lukisan tersebut mengambarkan sepasang manusia, berbogel dari belakang, mengadap pantai, ada botol mineral dan ada dua ekor ayam jantan dan betina dan langit yang berwarna warni."Dah nak siap ni,"kata Mama Regina sambil mengelap tangannya yang terlekat cat akrilik."Awat depa telanjang mak ayam?" Soal Rozila.Menurut Mama Regina, manusia hadir telanjang. Ilmu adalah pakaian yang mereka garap hari demi hari dan maruah menjadi manusia. Botol mineral kosong itu pula adalah lambang tenaga dan keghairahan manusia yang hampir tamat dari masa ke masa. Ayam betina dan ayam jantan pula adalah lambang keintiman dan nafsu mereka. Langit dan laut luas berwarna warni itu pula adalah harapan mereka. Manakala adukan warna warni itu mengambarkan pemikiran mereka yang bersimpang siur, 'complicated'
BABY BOY
BABY BOY Like any other baby boy… he got tired easily Not keen to play with that outdated toy any longer.Blinking his eyes for a new one…normally he managed, very fast replacement for he is cute.One day that mute and deaf toy suddenly walked away. Leaving baby boy in puzzle.

MY BABYGo! Go! Go… and do it to feed your curiosity and eagerness. No matter what is the result it will a good classroom. Don’t be too afraid, coming after me for advices is useless, I was once at your position too.Unless it’s deadly, you will surely read my sign.Pergi! Pergi! Pergi…buatlah demi menjamu persoalan dan gelojak ghairah kamu. Apa apapun keputusan akan menjadi guru terbaik buat kamu. Jangan terlalu gentar, bertanyakan mama tiada gunanya, kerana mama juga berada di posisi kamu suatu ketika dulu.Lainlah kalau berbahaya, pasti kamu dapat baca amaran mama.
