Bedtime Story

A Father going away yet again leaves his daughter with a story and a necklace...A tale of mermaids and gifts from the past and of the sea. I will either make it into a novelette or keep as it appears now short story. The story of Matty a Manufactured person ( humanoid android in this case who is unique in so many ways that it starts a world wide debate ) Two merpeople a mermaid named Jolene who follows Matty around in his undertsea exploration like an infatuated school girl, and far across the sea Bat Yam one not born a merperson but cursed (or blessed all depends on how one looks at it) and the Sea (or the Earth) a charater in many ways and in its own right.
