Shortish stories that I've made up whilst watering the plants at work.I am trying to make them funny. But the subjects are often serious. Maybe I'm trying for black humour?I've thrown in some sex and drugs and adult themes here more than my other stories elsewhere. Please don't be offended.I'm drawn to environmental issues and I love Science Fiction, so my stories reflect that.I hope you enjoy reading them. Any feedback welcome.J.J.
The Journey of the Blue Diamond.
A children's story. Though I hope adults will enjoy it too.The story follows the journey of a blue diamond.The story is set in a Fairy-Tale setting. There are Kings and Queens, Dragons and Unicorns.Some characters find the diamond to be of no value. Others desire the diamond and want to possess it badly. The diamond passes from one character to the next. I leave it to the reader to guess what happens next with each character, as my story follows where the diamond goes.Hope you enjoy it.J.J.
The Monster of Canary Bay.
The Canary Bay Monster is rumoured to live in the abandoned tunnels of the old coal mines. Some say that the monster was an invention designed to keep kids away from the dangerous tunnels.Josh has moved here with his family and has been immediately found himself off-side with the local bullies, the eldest has a grudge against Josh's extended family and has decided to take out his revenge on Josh.Josh is thrown into the mine, with an unexpected result.Can Josh protect his family from the bullies? Or will he be a victim of the monster?
