AoF Age of Fantasy Online
Stone Slyker was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) after his calf muscles wouldn't stop twitching as he sat in Biology his freshman year of high school. Stone would not be defined by a disease. Ignoring anything that wasn't study, he got a summer internship to the world's leading electric dimension technology company, AoF, makers of the role playing game world sensation: Age of Fantasy Online.Losing the ability to walk his senior year, Stone spent all of his time watching streams of his favorite players. Not having come from a family that could afford a Sim Suit (S.S.) he lived his dream vicariously, fanning the desire to plant his feet in the forests of AoF no matter the cost. AoF gladly accepts interns each summer from the most promising students of every education facility in the world. Some students don't come back, a pattern unnoticed by the general population, but a desperate mother nagging Detective Montana about the loss of her son begins a journey which may end with the fall of an empire, or total control of the real world for the 9th Maestro, or Nim, the AI invented to govern the digital universe of AoF.
