I was restless, I was scared. Even with somebody next to me in bed, I still couldn't fall asleep. The breeze coming into the room caused me to shiver. I looked at the open window, the darkness outside created a creepy atmosphere. It was too silent outside, a reason why I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched by someone. But there was nothing there. Yet. I rubbed my temples, telling myself to let the ominous feeling go. I was laying down again, shifting closer towards the back of a warm body. I hear him snoring, lightly. He seemed peaceful. I tried to do the same but my eyes kept on flashing open. I glanced at the window, keeping silent to discover anything off, but the darkness of the night revealed nothing to me. I bit my lip as I gently placed my hand on his shoulder, shaking him softly. He groaned, before slightly turning his head my way. His kind, brown eyes searched for mine, and when he found them he sighed with relief. He raised an eyebrow at me, wanting to know why I woke him up. ''You can't sleep?'' His voice was like a whisper and I shook my head. He became a little worried as he fully sat up. ''Stiles, it's the window.'' I admitted, my cheeks flushing as I heard how ridiculous I sounded. He turned his head towards the open window before looking back at me. ''Can you please close it,'' I whispered and he sleepily made his way over towards the window. ''Thanks, I am just afraid that someone is trying to get to me.'' Stiles locked it and crawled back in bed. ''They are supernatural hunters, willing to do everything for the money, and you think a closed window will stop them?'' He ended with a small smile and I noticed the sarcasm in his voice. He was trying to lighten the mood. But his words did the opposite. Even he couldn't put me at ease.
