Un contrasto che lascia tutti di stucco. Egli, venuto a sapere dei dilemmi individuati e constatato che l'hotel che i suoi ospiti cercano dista una cinquantina di miglia, offre loro un'occasione per non trascorrere la notte in auto: una permanenza gratuita in un minuto scompartimento di cui il lavoratore dispone nella struttura. Titubanti, Liam, la moglie e i figli riflettono sul da farsi e alla fine assentono alla proposta.
