I look down on the forest floors in fear. The only thing you can hear is my heavy breathing along with his growls. I wouldn't dare look him in the eyes. I can feel his intense stare. His gaze was like a hole being burned in my head."Did you try to run away from me, mate?" he said menacingly. I swallowed thickly, tears running down my face despite my protest. "ANSWER ME" he roared. I tried to conjure up the words but I was choked-up. I felt like I couldn't breathe around him. I feared his next moves. I backed up slowly trying to create as much distance between me and him as possible. With each step I took backward he stepped forward. My back hit a hard surface. A tree, I was trapped. He slowly crept forward, the crunch of the leaves beneath him cracking louder the closer he came. I closed my eyes and just hoped I would make it out of here alive. I could feel his breath on my ear indicating he was very close. "Won't you answer me love?" he whispered. His hot breath, warming the side of my face up. "Yes," I whispered back. He growled louder than he has ever before at me. "Yes, what my love?" he said. I don't know what came over me but, out of nowhere, I felt this overpowering confidence and bravery I have never felt before. "I tried to run away from you. That's what I'm saying yes to." I said my eyes fully open and looking him dead in the eyes. If I was going to go out, I may as well go out with a bang.
