Ori & Aris the Journey Through Nibel (proofreading and improving chapters)
(Thank you for over 8k reads. It means a lot to me.)Since the restoration of the spirit tree, Nibel was returned to its former glory. Calming the elements and returning peace back to the forest, as spirits were reborn within the light. However, one spirit in particular was not as fortunate. Darkness so happened to consume them. Altering their physique drastically. More specifically their life force was now different to their brothers and sisters alike. But, for some unknown reason, Ori and this new spirit are connected for an event in the future. Their paths converging into one as fate takes its course.~Chapters start out short but lengthen over time.Including spelling and grammar improves as well. Apologies for delay between chapters, I don't always have the time to write them.~* This story is my own adaptation of the Ori universe after Blind Forest, which blends in Will of the Wisps later on. OatSW: Short Stories
Following the events of Ori and the Spirits Within, this is a collection of shorter stories depicting the daily lives of the family and the many moments they go through. What tales will be spun within them? Only time will tell...- Spoilers for Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, AND Ori and the Spirits Within (obviously)- I do not own any of the Ori characters or locations, who belong to Moon Studios and them alone.- You may have noticed the tag "canondivergence" on this story. I'll let that speak for itself.- Although thought was put into these stories (unlike the actual story where I mostly just winged it), some short stories may have different levels of emotion/plot in them than others. Some may be happy stories, some may have sad parts. Some may have emotional tension, and others may just be dumb and goofy stories. Some are light-hearted, and some can be kind of dark. Just be warned that these stories are slightly varied in their tones and relevance to overarching plot lines.- As of writing this description, at least one of these stories deal with a topic that may/may not be sensitive to particular readers. Universe 482 is a separate, alternative universe I created connecting both of my two favorite game series, Ori and Devil May Cry. Since this is a different universe from the original source materials, a lot of lore has been changed from characters to locations and a lot of previous characters will not be present in order to fit with the story. This fanfiction was more of a dedication to my two favorite characters, Ori and Vergil. Ori rightfully belongs to Microsoft and Devil May Cry rightfully belongs to Capcom. Please support the official releases.Universe 482 Summary:Nibel was under attack and overrun by demons from another world after the demon lord, Raxarus, kidnapped his daughter, Sein. Nibel was left in decay and its guardian, the Spirit Tree, was dying but had enough energy to birth his last child, Ori. Ori was taken to another planet to be hidden and safe from the demon lord as Ori held some of Sein's power that Raxarus needed. Ori was dropped off to one of the sons of Sparda, Vergil, after the events of the Qliphoth on earth and coming back from hell, along with his brother, Dante. Vergil was given the responsibility to take care and raise Ori. With the help from his son, Nero, and his brother, Dante, Vergil must protect Ori as he is still being hunted by demons from the other world. Ori has yet to understand his true purpose while for Vergil, this is a start over from being a brutal, heartless demon to a caring and loving father, brother and friend.
