When the song states "my shadow's the only one who walks beside me." that line made me think about Stiles and "his shadow" aka Void/Nogitsune still being connected even though he got put into the triskelionStory: After the Nogitsune is captured, stiles still sees him as him and slowly Stiles unknowingly gives into his true self. that small piece that Void left behind in case something went wrong has been growing in power and strength ever since he was first exorcised/ separated from Stiles.Now the New Void has gained enough power to reveal himself to Stiles but because he isn't technically the Nogitsune but instead, he is the Void within Stiles that has manifested as the Nogitsune and is slowly making Stiles more like a trickster within himself.*I don't own teen wolf and all credit goes to their respective owners like Jeff Davis creator of teen wolf. Even though the Nogitsune is gone Stiles hasn't gotten better, the nightmares have only gotten worse, but the nightmares have changed to flashbacks of everything he did when the Nogitsune took over and even when they were separated like with Allison and Aiden, as if he saw the whole thing like it was like he was seeing through the Nogitsune's eyes seeing it all unfold.
