Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? Karkat starts 10th grade at new school soon and he is terrified. On top of all his anxiety and worries, he meets someone new who might change his life altogether. Will it be for better or worse? Who knows. Dave's dreads school starting. He wasn't too excited to be surrounded by screaming girls and boys. Being this popular wasn't too fun, yeah it has its perks but he still doesn't like it much. His whole life is about to change when he meets someone new.
