"You choose to sacrifice the ones who have offered themselves up to serve you, the ones that have already decided to die for you. You let me fight instead of the ones who never asked to be a part of this. For the ones whose hands are clean, you save them." Calista was an underground fighter. Taken in by Mundok after a particularly rough night, she grew up as an older sister to Hak, Yona and Soo-won. But the underground never lets anyone truly leave. To escape their clutches, Soo-won buys her from them, making her his slave. Fully aware of her combat abilities, he hides her as his bodyguard by posing as an escort. After the fateful events the night King Il was murdered, she made her escape with her brother and the Princess, fleeing to Fuuga and continuing their journey. On the way, she learns that she's not alone anymore, that she can trust her new friends, and most importantly, that love is allowed to be reciprocated. (Anime and Manga SPOILERS!!! I don't own Akatsuki no Yona the plot or the characters, only my OC) Story line will follow the events of the manga. Cover art isn't mine, I just edited the title onto it.
