Amelia and Fezco were taking things slow. Really slow. I mean I don't know if they were. They should've been back together by now but Amelia seemed to still be pushing him away.

Except for the constant flirting and the FaceTime calls. No but seriously I don't know how their phones hadn't exploded yet.

They hadn't really seen each other in person since the day Fezco apologized.

Part of it was because Amelia was way too busy with the winter formal at school but every night they would FaceTime.

Fezco noticed Amelia was being different to him. Not distant but he was getting to know a version of her he didn't know but the rest of us already knew.

He liked the new Amelia; she didn't care about the things she did around him like she used to.

What he didn't like was the fact she was treating him like a friend or at least that's what it felt like.

In reality Amelia was trying to see if they still worked which they did since she was getting way more comfortable around him.

Amelia did want to start dating him again but them being friends just seemed way more easy and I know relationships aren't supposed to be easy they are supposed to have ups and downs but that's bullshit. We are all scared to get hurt.

And that was Amelia's case. She wanted to keep it that way because it was safe and didn't want to take risks but in reality she was just hurting herself more.

"Isn't the winter dance shit on Saturday?" Fezco asked while he watched the girl sit on her vanity while she practiced makeup looks on the phone.

"Yeah..." she replied while she added foundation to her face.

"That's why you've been doing makeup this much?"

"I have to get the perfect look..." Amelia smirked and looked down to her phone to see him.

"Is that Amy?" She heard Ash's voice on the phone.

"Hey ash" she said and fez turned the phone to Ashtray.

"Aye what you doing"

"Make up and waiting for legacies to come in the tv"

"What's that? Is it good?"

"Not really it's a spin off of the vampire diaries it's not that good but I watch it only because sometimes they mention stuff about the originals or like the Salvatores and stuff"

"Oh! Talking about that we in season four that new bitch Hayley getting on my fucking nerves!"

"Hey! Watch it Hayley is a queen I love her" Amelia warned him.

"What?! How she barely been on screen and when she is she be backstabbing people. She's hot but she need to chill"

"What episode are you on?"

"I think seventeen"

"Yeah just keep watching trust me you'll like her"

"Bet I'm finna go right now"

"Bye" Amelia waited for him to leave then the phone went back to fez. Both of them smiled at each other then she looked back up to her mirror.

Now maddy had told Amelia to tell Fezco to go to the dance with her since they were letting them invite a plus one. Amelia obviously said no but then she continued to think about it. She did want Fezco to go.

"Fez" she called out, noticing he had looked away from the phone.

"Yeah baby?" He looked back at her.

Fez still called Amelia nicknames and sometimes she did too which confused me. I guess they were in a situation ship. I don't know man, just know they weren't exactly dating but we're definitely more than just friends.

"Ugh this is going to be awkward..." Amelia sighed and sat her brush down. "Would you like to go to the winter formal with me?"

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah...you can say no if you want. I know we're not really in the phase of going out again but..."

"Amy, I would love to go with you. I just didn't want to create any problems again" fez interrupted her.

"I don't care, we can't just keep avoiding stuff like this so..."

"Of course I'll go with you ma I'll pick you up and everything"

Amelia smiled at him and continued to talk on the phone with him.

Everything went by the same those next few days then Saturday arrived and Amelia woke up to do her hair and makeup.

She hadn't told anyone about Fezco yet she was scared about what people would say which was a problem because she was trying not to do that she wanted to be fearless so she could be with Fezco and actually work out.

Amelia continued to get ready. Before she walked out she looked at herself in the mirror making sure she wasn't missing anything.

Her hair was straightened and had three silver clips on the side. Her makeup was blue and had little rhinestones on the eyes. Her dress was sparkly blue and was short. The heels were silver with rhinestones as well.

The only jewelry she had on was her necklace with her name on it. All her earrings and two bracelets on and her matching heart ring with maddy.

Amelia knew Fezco was downstairs; she heard the doorbell ring a couple of minutes ago but she knew better than to go open it herself. She knew she had to make him wait a while.

She sprayed some perfume then grabbed her hand bag and put some lip gloss, powder and some other essentials then disconnected her phone from the charger.

Until then she finally headed downstairs everyone down there knew she was coming down by the sound of the clicking heels on the hard marble floor.

Fez stood at the bottom of the stairs watching her go down. He had a bouquet of roses on his hand which made Amelia smile. He walked up to her once she reached the last step.

"Awe you didn't have to get me anything..." Amelia said, taking the flowers from him.

"You know I did" fez smiled watching how her smile was as big as ever looking at the flowers.

"Well thank you" Amelia leaned in and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Once she stepped back he inspected his outfit. He was wearing a suit and he smelled really good which was driving Amelia insane.

"What you think? good enough?" He asked, posing for her, which made her chuckle.

"You look really good," she replied, adjusting his tie.

"Probably look bad next to you I mean look at you..." he stepped back inspecting her up and down then licked his lips.

"I do look really good," Amelia smirked. "Where are my parents?"

"I think they in the kitchen"

She nodded and began to walk towards the kitchen where both of her parents sat on the table. When they heard her walking towards them they looked up to see the both of them.

"You guys look so good!" Mrs. Gonzales exclaimed and got up her seat.

Amelia walked to the counter and got a vase filling it up with water to place the flowers in. When she did she sat it on the counter then walked to a cabinet taking some DayQuil and poured a little into a medicine cup.

"What are you doing?" Fez questioned watching her drink the medicine.

"I am going to get sick, I can feel it," Amelia replied, making a face when she drank it.

Fez looked at her weirdly then turned to her parents who just shrugged.

"She has this thing where she knows when she's about to get sick. At first I thought it was just her messing with me but she actually guesses it every time" her mom told Fezco and Alejandro nodded agreeing with her.

"How do that even work?"

"I just know" Amelia shrugged and put everything away to go. "Okay we have to go"

"Be safe okay" Alejandro said then gave fez a warning look. "Back at home before one okay"

"Yeah okay dad. Let's go before he starts lecturing us" Amelia took Fezcos hand and started to drag him out.

"I mean it Amelia!"

"Bye! Love you!" She shut the door then looked at Fez laughing.

He just shook his head and walked her to his car. He opened the door and she smiled getting in.

The car ride was okay. They listened to music half of the time. Fezco held her hand as always which she didn't mind doing. She didn't know what was going to happen later that night but if Fezco was to ask her out she would definitely say yes.

When they arrived Amelia led the way mostly since she knew her way around. She ignored the looks she was receiving from everyone.

This was the part Amelia was scared of but somehow she got the confidence to walk past everyone holding Fezcos hand.

Once they reached the table all the girls were sitting at she felt like she had made it everyone turned to them and smiled.

"Damn you look hot" Kat looked Amelia up and down and Amelia smiled.

"Thanks bae so do you" she looked over to the two Howard sisters and smiled and they returned it.

Fezco pulled two chairs out for them. He sat next to Kat and Amelia sat next to him and an empty chair that was quickly taken by maddy.

"Oh my god you are one sexy ass bitch!" Maddy sat down and wrapped her arms around Amelia then looked over to fez. "Hey fez"

"Hey maddy" he replied while maddy got off Amelia and sat properly in her chair.

"Want some?" Maddy offered Amelia a bottle of 'Gatorade'. Amelia nodded and took a big gulp of it and gave it back to her.

Fezco knew that wasn't gatorade knowing Maddy it was definitely spiked with something. It wasn't that he didn't want Amelia to drink, he didn't control her in that way, it's just that he wanted to talk to her while she was in her right mind.

"Hey guys!!" Jules and rue arrived sitting next to maddy while everyone smiled at them.

"Hey fez" rue waved at him and he did as well.

"Sup kid" fez said. His hand was resting on Amelia's thighs gripping the one away from him.

Maddy pulled out her phone and got close to Amelia to take a picture while they posed Fezcos eyes didn't leave Amelia at all which was making her nervous but tried her best to ignore his eyes lingering on her.

Once Maddy was done she moved onto rue and Jules making Amelia return back to fez but briefly since maddy interrupted them.

"Oh this is our song! I'm sorry but I have to take her!" Maddy got up and dragged Amelia out her seat and pulled her into the dance floor.

You by Lloyd played while maddy danced on each other while kat and Cassie joined in and sung to the song.

Rue and Fezco watched, smiling at the whole scene.

"She seems happy," rue commented, turning to fez.

"She sure is doing better," Fez added, then confined to watch her dance.

Eventually everyone headed back to the table still singing to the song that was playing. They all took their seats but were interrupted from their moment when Nate walked in with another girl holding onto her butt.

They all made a face then turned to see maddy who was glaring at nate and the girl.

"First of all, ew. Second of all, ew."

"Just ignore him" Amelia said as they watched them dancing in a very sexual way which was disgusting rather than hot.

Amelia turned to fez who was just shaking his head at the whole thing. She just took his hand and watched maddy knowing she wasn't going to be able to take it much longer.

"Maddy don't!" Amelia warned. "Maddy don't do it"

"Fuck this." She cursed and stood up from her chair and walked away.

Amelia sighed and watched her walk away to dance with some other boy. At that point she just decided not to watch and turned her back from the dance floor just to see Fezco.

"You good?" He asked her and she nodded. "You want to get up out of here?"

"Nah I'll be fine just let her throw her tantrum and it'll go back to being fun" Amelia reassured. "You don't want to dance?"

"You know I don't be dancing you'll probably make me look like a fool out there the way you be moving" Fezco smirked.

Before Amelia could even reply she was interrupted by someone walking towards them who she didn't even notice was there.

"Hi Amy" Andrew approached them, making her pause and lose the smile she had in her face and turn to him.

She didn't even say anything which was embarrassing for him that he continued to keep trying. Fezco turned a bit making sure he kept his distance making Andrew look at him.

"What are you doing here?"

"He's with me" Amelia replied to him knowing Fezco would've said something more aggressive.

Andrew paused for a minute then figured it out and started laughing. "Really Amy? him?"

"Yes Andrew, do you have a problem?" Amelia talked back.

"More than just one..."

"Why don't you just go beg some other desperate down bad bitch to dance with you Andrew" maddy returned to the table as soon as she saw Andrew there.

"You two are sick, maybe it just runs in the family" Andrew walked away keeping his eyes on Amelia.

"He got three seconds to look away before I kick his shit in" Fezco sat up in his chair but Amelia stopped him.

"Honestly he deserves it, he's disgusting" maddy agreed with him and took a sip of her drink.

"I think I need some air" Amelia took her phone from the table so she could get up.

"You want me to go with you?" Fezco asked, about to get up as well.

"No I'll be right back I promise stay here" Amelia reassured and got out her seat and walked away.

Maddy looked over to fez who was watching Amelia walk away with a sad face.

"You didn't do anything wrong she just tends to get annoyed at people and instead of taking it out on you she goes to take some time but she'll be back trust me"

Outside Amelia stood thinking about Fezco and her life. Everything was going so well because she was ignoring several things which was bad because sooner or later she would have to face them but for now she decided to live in the moment.

She decided to keep living the way she was; the only thing she would change was probably Fezco. She would be lying if she said she didn't want to kiss him or go back to having dates and just loving each other.

Amelia's thoughts were interrupted when she saw Nate walking towards her. She groaned and looked away from him hoping he wouldn't say anything to her. But we all knew Nate always had something to say.

"Really Amy? You brought him here?"

"Nate please leave me alone I'm not in the mood for you" Amelia sassed not even bothering to look at him.

"You're not in the mood for anyone at all but your cousin and that low life drug dealer" nate took a step forward.

"And it's benefiting and a lot trust me"

"Really you're throwing your life away with him?"

"What do you even care about my life Nate?" Amelia finally turned to face him. "Why are you so fucking obsessed honestly you're not dating maddy anymore so why does it even matter just leave me the fuck alone"

"Oh you two have definitely not been fucking you look like you haven't gotten pleased in a while..." Nate went to touch her face but she slapped his hand away from him.

"You're so disgusting"

"You could do so much better than him amelia trust me"

"Nate please I'm begging you to leave me alone I came out here for a reason"

"You know too much I can't leave you alone any and you know that..." nate sighed.

"Like the fact your daddy likes to fuck minors?" Amelia blurted out.

"Watch who you tell that to Amelia" Nate warned with a threatening look.

"I will if you leave me alone"

"Fine I'll go but watch yourself Amy," he warned once more. She didn't say anything, she just stood there giving him a challenging look.

Once Nate gave up he walked back inside and Amelia leaned on the wall taking deep breaths trying to calm down.

Sometimes Amelia wished Nate would just disappear forever. Well she wasn't the only one that wished that. I did too and the rest of the whole world did too. Honestly I feel like if we all teamed up we could possibly get away with his murder but don't tell nobody I said that...

"Amy you good you been out here for a while" Fezco walked towards her making her open her eyes and look at him.

Her body was still leaning against the wall. She put her hand out for him and he took it. She pulled him in closer and intertwined their fingers.

"I really don't know what maddy put in that drink...maybe I shouldn't have mixed it with that DayQuil either"

"Amy you finna black out bruh" Fezco chuckled and she nodded.

"I'll be fine, I'm just like really struggling to keep it together right now in front of you" she said, running her hand from his chest down to his stomach.

"Yeah maybe you should keep your hands to yourself" he took her hand and held onto it. "I wanted to give you something actually..."

"Another thing?"

"Yeah" he dug in his pocket and pulled a velvet box out and handed it to her. Amelia smiled and took it, opening it.

She saw a silver locket shaped in a heart necklace.

"Awh fez..." she took the necklace out and opened the locket to see a picture of them from the night of her party that she had taken on his phone while she was drunk.

"You like it?" He asked.

"I love it" she replied. "Could you put it on?" She handed it to him and turned around moving her hair out his way.

Fez sat his hands beside her neck and clipped the necklace on. Once he was done she turned around and crashed her lips into his. Fezco didn't expect this but quickly picked up the pace and missed back placing his hands on her waist pulling her in closer to him.

Her hands rested on his neck deepening the kiss. She then pulled away but stayed close to him.

"I've been really wanting to do that..."

"Oh really?" He smirked.

"Yeah and I also wanted to ask you something"

"Like what?"

"Like if you wanted to be my boyfriend or something..."

"Or something? Damn I'll be your damn husband if you want. Shit I'll be your baby daddy if you want" fez chuckled still holding her waist.

"Shut up 'cause I'll really give you a kid right now if you keep touching me like that" Amelia wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Shit I don't mind, let's just get up out of here" Fezco shrugged and gave her a kick peck on the lips.

"We will but first you are going to dance with me"

"Amy..."

"It's a slow song, come on..." Amelia got out his hold and began to drag him back inside where everyone was slow dancing.

When they reached the dance floor she faced him and wrapped her arms back on his neck and he wrapped his around her waist.

I could fall in love by Selena played and they swayed back and forth to the beat of the song contemplating the moment.

"I really fucking love you Amy you know that right?" Fez leaned down to her ear to talk to her. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me"

"I love you so much..."

Love is just an unsafe feeling. An instinct you can't trust but it also felt good in a way.

Fezco and Amelia had an unsafe type of love. They were willing to put everything on the line for love and I envied that but I was also happy for them. More for fez he deserved someone like Amelia in his life. I was happy she was there.

We live in a cruel world where we all need someone like her in our lives to keep us going. I certainly did but I hadn't found her yet. It felt like it was Jules but who knows our love didn't feel like the type Amelia and Fezco had and maybe that was the problem because we all knew not all of us could get that.

At this point I hated love. Anything that had to do with it. It was always about love.
