Amelia was going down hill but in a good way. Her life was a bit fucked up there first couple of weeks since the incident with her dad.

She would just go to school wearing whatever and let her grades slip which wasn't very usual for her since I've never seen Amelia do this bad.

At school she would talk to Lexi sometimes but not the way that she talked to maddy. Maddy had become her best friend again.

I don't know if the world was spinning back on its axis or Amelia just knew she would let herself go if she wasn't with maddy.

That's just how they worked if one of them was falling apart the other one was there to make sure they stayed together. And that's what they did.

It even made Amelia actually communicate with Nate sometimes which actually drove him to apologize to her seeing how hard she was actually struggling.

Amelia had been left alone with Nate at the lunch table which was the only contact she even had with him.

Maddy had stepped away to get something leaving Amelia there with him. She would usually go on her phone when this happened.

She acted like she had never met nate before which was easier than to just think about all the hatred she had towards him. She just thought that Nate Jacobs wasn't even a person or anything at all.

But that changed when he decided to open his mouth.

"Amy..." Nate called out in a low voice which made Amelia look up from her screen slowly, not even saying a word just allowing him to talk. "What I did before..."

"Wait, Nate Jacobs is actually apologizing..." Amelia paused and sat her phone down, actually interested in the conversation.

"And you just ruined it with your attitude. I thought you were all sad and stuff ''Nate mentioned making her roll her eyes. "Oh it's definitely going away your attitude is back don't worry you'll be back to yourself in no time"

"Whatever" Amelia sighed and picked her phone back up knowing the conversation wasn't going anywhere.

"I am sorry though...you've never done anything...I'm just sorry okay" Nate finally said, making Amelia scoff.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear what you said, mind saying it again?" Amelia chuckled, setting her phone back down.

"I'm definitely not repeating that..."

Now it wasn't the best apology in the world but it was coming from Nate. What did we expect? It was genuine but not good enough. No apology would ever be good enough for what he did at all.

Another week passed by and Amelia kept doing the usual stuff. She didn't think much about fez anymore.

She hadn't seen him in weeks and tried to keep herself from reading their text unlike the first week where she just spent time reading them and seeing the pictures she had taken with him.

She told herself she needed to stop and move on because it was just going to make it worse. Which was progress for her.

Fezco would keep himself busy with the store or high. Alejandro had actually gone to apologize to Fez one day.

Fezco apologized as well but in reality the one that actually got hurt was Amelia and Alejandro being on good terms with fez was one of the biggest mistakes he had ever made.

Amelia felt betrayed. If he was cool with fez again then what was the reason for the whole chaos that happened.

Let's just say the first day Amelia saw fez there she was really mad.

Amelia headed down the stairs about to head out to Cassie's house after she called all the girls to go to her house.

Amelia didn't know for what reason but she was going anyway. She walked into the kitchen and as usual she was going to ignore her dad but then she saw fez.

Her world just paused.

She felt a bunch of emotions. She was actually thinking of talking to her dad since she was starting to feel better but everything changed when he saw her there.

Fezco hadn't noticed Amelia walking in since he was busy with something Alejandro was showing him. Amelia gathered herself back and acted as if her dad or fez was there. She got her confident pace back and entered the kitchen.

"Mom, I'm going to Cassie's house for a second. I'll be back in like an hour" Amelia announced, making the two of them look up to see Amelia.

When Fezco heard her voice his first instinct was to look at her since he hadn't seen her in the longest time ever. He only knew how she was doing because of me which is how I found out they broke up.

He looked up to see her and saw her wearing some leggings and a hoodie and her hair was down like if she just had showered.

Fezcos week was made just like that. All he had to do was see her. What broke him was how she wasn't even acknowledging him.

This was different than when they were pretending they weren't dating or seeing each other. On those occasions they could feel the tension in the room but this time there was nothing.

Mrs Gonzales knew Amelia was going to be upset which is why she told her husband not to take Fezco back in the business.

Alejandro said he was over apologizing to Amelia everyday and he needed to continue his job. Which was understandable but if we were in Amelia's position right now I feel like we all deserved to be petty about it.

"Okay be careful amy" she said and Amelia nodded about to walk out.

"Drive safely" her dad said but Amelia ignored it like he wasn't even there.

Now yes Amelia was ignoring her dad but they had made some progress like if today if Amelia hadn't seen fez there she would've at least waved or did something minimum to respond but she didn't.

Once she was out the door Anna turned to her husband and fez with a defeated face knowing that was going to be her reaction.

"I told you she was going to be mad..." she said, getting up from her stool.

"What do you want me to do? I have stuff to do" he replied back.

"I know but she has the right to be mad eventually she'll understand but right now she will continue to be mad"

Fezco felt bad even though he needed to do his job he knew it hurt Amy even more. Her mom was right eventually she would understand but for now she had the right to be mad it was understandable.

But when he saw how down she looked and acted it broke him. He hated that the happiness and light she had was taken away. He knew that eventually it would come back once she moved on but for now he hated to be the one that took it away.

Once Amelia got to Cassie's house everyone was already gathered at the table. Amelia walked into the room hearing all types of commotion going on which made her confused since she was late.

"Why, because I won't sit and listen to you bitch and moan about your psychotic, abusive boyfriend who you've literally broken up with a thousand times?" Kat spat just as Amelia walked in the room. It didn't take her long to figure out who they were talking about.

"It was literally the lowest point in my life, so, yeah. That and the fact that you're just fuckin' mean." Maddy sassed back. At this point Amelia just sat and watched the whole situation.

"Maddy, ever since I've met you, all you talk about is yourself. Your clothes, your boyfriends, whatever superficial shit you think is so fucking important. Sorry I'm no longer interested. Surprised Amelia even is, ''Kat said, giving Amelia a side eye.

"I don't know about everyone else, but I miss the old Kat. You know, the one who had a sense of humor and wasn't a fuckin' cunt?"

"Ok what the fuck is going on?!" Amelia finally spoke, making all the girls turn to her.

"Oh shit..." BB muttered sitting up straight.

"Nothing I was just leaving..." Maddy got up from her seat and walked out the room. Amelia didn't even bother to follow her and just turned back to the girls.

"What happened?" Amelia asked once again.

"Kat said something about McKay and Cassie and Maddy just snapped" BB answered her.

"No I just told the truth and maddy stepped in and made it about her" Kat corrected but Amelia didn't like the way she was talking about maddy.

"You blew her off the day everything went down. She has every right to be upset about it." Amelia stated while the rest just sat there.

"Yeah and I'm leaving not trying to get yelled at by the two of you..." Kat got up and BB followed her once they were gone lexi just got up leaving Cassie and Amelia there.

"Sorry I was late...and sorry that went down..." Amelia went to sit next to Cassie in the chair.

"It's okay I guess..."

"So what did you need help with?" Amelia asked and Cassie paused. She could either just ask about McKay or actually tell her what was going on. Amelia made people safe. If there was someone in their friend group that could keep their mouth shut about people's business it was Amelia.

Cassie looked around before answering then she turned to her. "You have to promise to not tell nobody at all like you can't tell nobody"

"I won't, I promise I won't..." Amelia reassured, watching how hysterical she was.

"I took a test the other day and...it was positive and I don't know what to do I'm just so scared to tell anyone..." Cassie began to tell her while Amelia just listened.

"Have you told McKay?"

"No he'll freak out you know with college and everything he got going on..." The blonde replied looking down to her hands.

"What do you want to do?" Amelia asked her.

"I don't know..." Cassie shrugged. "I haven't thought about it that far"

"I understand it's a lot to just take in but Cassie this is serious and something you should be talking about with McKay and whatever his reaction is if you want to keep it or not it's your choice but just know that's a lot of responsibility just for a highschool girl" Amelia said and Cassie just nodded letting a few tears out. Amelia just pulled her in and held her in her arms.

"I don't think I want to and I don't think mckay would either but it's nice to think about how it would've been if both of us wanted it..." Cassie muttered while Amelia held her tightly.

"I know..."

After that Amelia stayed at Cassie's house for a while talking to her and Lexi.

The topic of Fez had come up which brought her to just spill her heart out to them about it.

Both of them listened and it made Amelia feel better to just spill all the problems she had in a way it helped her try and move on but she hadn't noticed yet until one day she woke up and looked around her room.

It was worse than usual which said a lot. So she decided to clean it. Amelia went downstairs where her parents were having breakfast. She just ignored them as usual and went to grab a trash bag.

"What are you doing Amy?" Her dad asked, her mom looked at him with a warning look since she knew Amelia wasn't about to answer but she did.

"Cleaning my room." She replied and walked back up into her room while her parents exchanged looks.

"Oh she's going delusional, she's cleaning and replied to you she's lost it..." her mom said shaking her head.

Amelia went back upstairs and blasted some music that her parents could clearly hear but they didn't care. She started with her floor since it was the worst part.

She put all her clothes on the bed and everything else where it belonged then she focused on little parts.

Back downstairs Fezco was at the door while Mrs Gonzales opened it. The first thing he heard was Pluto projector by Rex Orange County blasting from upstairs. He entered and turned to her with a confused look.

"Amelia is cleaning her room..." she said, shutting the door and walking away.

When Fezco heard Amelia was cleaning he knew the girl had clearly lost it.

She never cleaned her room only when she was frustrated and felt her life was crumbling into pieces not to mention the choice of music she was playing throughout the day he was there doing stuff in Alejandro's office.

Drivers license by Olivia Rodrigo which was Amelia's favorite even if she wasn't even hurt but Fezco knew now she had a reason.

WUSYANAME by Tyler the creator which wasn't that bad or have a meaning about it. Amelia just loved Tyler the creator.

As the day went by the music continued to change. Until she finally headed downstairs with a basket of clothes and a bag of trash.

She walked into the kitchen where Fez was sitting down but Amelia ignored him like he wasn't even there but she knew he was she was just trying her best not to acknowledge him.

"You're done?" Her mom asked while she walked in with Aurora in her arms making Amelia turn to her.

"Not really I have to clean the bathroom, I organized my closet, cleaned the floor, changed my bed sheets and cleaned everything around there and I have to organize my makeup now" Amelia explained. She was clearly tired by the looks of her outfit and hair.

She headed back upstairs to continue to clean but never came back downstairs. Fezco did feel hurt about it but tried his best not to show it knowing he was the one that caused it. I know that sounds fucked up but it's how it worked.

Amelia continued to have a good week. She was starting to actually dress up to school and the next thing she decided to do was fix her grades.

So she spent a whole entire week turning in assignments which her teachers let her turn in since she was never late with them and when she was something clearly wasn't good.

The only person that didn't know about Amelia's and Fezcos break up was ashtray. He was weirded out when she didn't come around anymore but never thought about asking

. He thought that fez would've told him but he didn't and that made him upset.

"You didn't like think to tell me or something?!" Ash shouted at him.

He found out because fez wasn't on the phone as usual with Amelia. Ash would usually say hi to her while they were on the phone but when Fezco told him they weren't together anymore he just went ballistic.

"I didn't think I was fucking obligated to tell you my business!" Fez shouted back at him.

"You're fucking stupid man. Really you let Amelia go?" Ashtray shook his head and walked into his room.

Ashtray went to text Amelia since he wanted to talk to her but Fezco just sat there thinking he was right. Why would he even let Amelia go that easily? He thought both of them were better off but it was clear they weren't.

It was actually funny that Ash asked Fezco to take him to Amelia's house. He actually felt jealous that Amelia was talking to ash but not him. It was obvious why but he still felt jealousy.

Jealous how when both of them walked in the house and she was sitting on the table she only turned to say hi to ash but didn't even acknowledge him.

"Wassup amy" Ashtray said sitting next to her with his back.

Amelia was sitting down wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.

Her hair was up in a clip with a few strands coming out in the front and she had her glasses on since she was looking at her computer for a long period of time.

"Hey ash" Amelia turned to see him and smiled. Fez just watched them and looked at Amelia. He didn't know what it was but today she just looked good.

"Bro what are you doing..." he asked looking at her computer seeing the equation that was on the screen.

"Factoring" she replied and handed him her notebook with all the numbers.

"Yeah I'm struggling with regular x's I can't do squared ones" Ashtray gave the notebook back making her laugh.

There was a moment where Amelia was smiling and looked up catching fez looking at her he looked immediately back down and she lost her smile and looked away. Ashtray caught it but chose not to say anything; it just made him sad.

"What else do you need to do?" He asked, looking at everything she had on the table.

"I finished my science work yesterday. I have my research paper notes, and an essay I think" Amelia replied.

The rest of the day was spent with Amelia helping ashtray doing homework when they were done. Fez took him home but came back since he had one more thing to do with Amelia's dad.

Amelia was sitting on the table still eating some fruit when fez walked back in with her dad. She went to get up but her fathers voice stopped her.

"We won't stay long you can stay"

Now Amelia hesitated to stay or not. She had this thing where her dad always read her essays before turning them in. She wanted to ask him especially because it was important but she didn't know if she was ready to be cool with him. If she asked him that meant they had to talk from now on.

"Actually I need..." Amelia paused seeing how both of their eyes were on her. "Could you read this?" She moved the computer to his spot.

He was surprised she even asked but wasn't going to deny the help. "I'll read it on the way upstairs I have to go get something"

He excused himself and left Amelia there with Fezco. Her first instinct was to pull out her phone to distract her and not have to sit there awkwardly which fez did hesitating to say something.

"Thank you for helping ash out..." he said in a low voice making her look up. She just gave him a soft smile and looked back down. "You doing alright?"

Amelia just nodded and continued to be on her phone.

After that day Amelia didn't see fez for a while but she was fine with her dad now. It wasn't the same but it was something.

Amelia could say she was fine but she didn't mean it. She wasn't herself at all. There was something there making her feel empty and she didn't know what.

Valerie's birthday was coming up so Amelia bought some flowers to take them to her grave. That day I went to see fez as usual just to say hi and as always he asked me about Amelia.

"And how about Amy?" He asked, pulling the blunt out his mouth.

"Eventually you're going to need to check on her yourself, you know..." Rue commented, making him send her a glare. "She's fine, she told me she was going to go see Valerie today. I think it's her birthday so she's probably in the cemetery"

And she was. After I left, Fez got in his car to go there hoping she was still there.

Amelia was there; she was sitting on the ground as she fixed up the flowers. She put her knees up and rested her arms on her knees resting her head on them.

Amelia hadn't visited her friend's grave in a while but she thought she needed to. She wanted to see if it would help her find what was missing.

Now, many people don't believe in this stuff but she did. She would sit and talk to her hoping she was listening. She told her everything that happened with Nate, maddy, fez, her parents and everything else.

"I honestly don't know what to do..." Amelia cried then wiped her tears away when she heard someone walking towards her. She turned to see who it was and saw fez walking towards her. She looked away not wanting him to see she was crying.

Fez didn't say anything, he just sat next to her while Amelia just looked at the picture of her on the tombstone.

"How old was she turning today?" Fezco asked her.

"Eighteen" Amelia replied with sadness in her voice still wiping her tears. "She was so excited about it. She was waiting to turn eighteen so she could go move with her mom. Her dad didn't allow her to see her mom"

"That's messed up..." fez shook his head and looked at the tomb looking at what Amelia was looking at. "Do you usually do this?"

"I used to come everyday and just talk then eventually it turned into once in a while then I just stopped and just brought flowers on her birthday." Amelia said still laying on her arms but this time she turned to see him. "You know when a family member or like someone else dies and you cry for a while and it kinda just goes away and you manage to move on?"

"Kinda..."

"She's the only one that if I think about it I'll cry. It's not always because I'm sad, it's just frustrating. It makes me so mad that I want to talk to her and have a conversation with her but I can't" Amelia choked on her sobs trying to talk to him. "And it makes me so mad. Out of all people it was her. I wish I wasted our last conversation with something dumb. I hadn't texted her in a while and when I finally did I spent it on something so dumb"

"Come here" Fez pulled her in closer, holding her tightly allowing her to cry.

"I'm sorry I have been treating you like you don't exist it was dumb..." she apologized crying laying on his chest.

"It's okay I deserved it..."

"No you didn't, you were mature about the whole thing and I needed to understand that" Amelia interrupted him immediately and got out his hold. "Thank you for being here..." she said, looking over to the tomb again.

"I told you I got you Amy together or not I will always be here for you" fez said while Amelia went back to laying on his chest and he wrapped his arm around her.

"Me too"
