The next day, Maddy and Amelia went to school as normal.

Amelia wore a sweater to hide the bruises on her arms that were now very noticeable.

Maddy didn't question it until at night when they were about to go to sleep and Amelia was wearing a hoodie.

"Why are you wearing that?" She asked just as she was about to get on the bed.

"What? I'm cold" Amelia replied vaguely, not trying to make a big deal out of it.

"Amelia I know that even if it's freezing in here you don't like sleeping with pants or long-sleeve shirts on so what's wrong?" Maddy sat on the bed waiting for her to explain.

"I'm fine just go to sleep"

"Amelia if it's a hickey it's fine I won't snitch"

"It's not, even if it was you wouldn't be able to see so just go to sleep maddy please" Amelia went to turn around but maddy used her hand to stop her placing it on her arm making Amelia wince since her arms were still sore.

Maddy scrunched her brows seeing she had hurt her but she hadn't even touched her that bad.

"Amelia take this off" maddy spoke in a serious tone. "I'm serious take it off"

When Amelia saw she wasn't letting it go she took the hoodie off revealing the bruises on her arms and wrist. Maddy looked at them and inspected them seeing how it was basically a hand mark on her.

"Who did this?" Maddy asked in a softer tone now.

"Nate..."

Maddy paused and then sighed "Why?"

"So i wouldn't say anything he threatened me to tell my dad about Fez and other stuff" Amelia replied.

"I'm so sorry"

Maddy felt bad about involving Amelia but there was nothing she could do. She knew Nate would win if they pressed even more charges.

At school nobody really questioned her clothes. She tried her best to stay away from fez knowing if she was with him he would see them. Lexi asked a couple of times if she was okay which Amelia always responded to with an. 'I'm fine'

Amelia really thought she could get away with everything and forget about it until her mom showed up at home on Wednesday when they weren't supposed to get there until Thursday.

Once Amelia heard the door open and heard her mom calling out for her she was with maddy in the kitchen. Amelia didn't have a sweater on and her bruises were still noticeable. First thing she did was put a blanket on. She still thought she could hide them.

Both of them paused and watched Amelia's mom walk in, setting the baby's car seat on the floor. She didn't say anything, she just looked at Maddy with a blank face.

"Your mom is outside maddy she wants you to go home" Anna said in a serious tone.

"No I can't go, you don't understand..." Maddy tried to convince her.

"I know, just go and alejandro will be there later and he will bring you back just please go, please maddy"

Maddy looked at Amelia then to Anna with a sad face. Amelia sent her an apologetic look with the blanket still wrapped around her. Maddy got up and started to walk out to the entrance.

"Amelia go upstairs and wait for me in your room" her mom demanded. Amelia just obeyed and headed up to her room while Anna walked maddy out to her mom's car.

Amelia was scared she didn't know why her mom was back early and from what she heard her mom say her dad was on her way too.

All she could do was sit confused in her bed waiting for her mom to enter.

First thing Amelia did was put a sweater on for obvious reasons. Eventually Amelia's mom walked in and shut the door.

She obviously had something with her in her hoodie pocket. Amelia just sat and looked at her waiting for her to say anything.

"Are you okay?" was the first thing she asked which Amelia wasn't expecting she expected to get yelled at.

"I'm okay" she replied, still waiting for her mom to explode with anger. She was hoping that what she was thinking wasn't the reason she was here.

"Anything you need to tell me?"

Amelia knew that was a trick question.

Her mom already knew she was just waiting for an explanation from her which is what she usually let Amelia do. The problem was Amelia didn't know what to tell her.

"What do you want to know?" Amelia asked, still holding onto the hope that she wanted to know what happened with maddy and not about Fez.

"How long?" She asked, leaning on the wall watching how Amelia looked up. "How long have you been seeing him?"

"The weekend before the first day of school"

"Are you dating?"

"Since the night he picked me up from practice"

"I saw the cameras Amelia, your dad doesn't know, we're here because of maddy and everything else going on. I already knew you had something going on with him. I'm just upset you didn't tell me ''Mrs Gonzales explained walking closer to her.

"I didn't want him to get in trouble. I was going to tell you I just didn't know how to and then it just kept going and..."

"I understand why you would keep it from your dad because I know he will just freak out"

"I want to tell him but I would rather have him freak out at me than to Fez" Amelia's voice sounded said which made her mom sit on the bed.

"You want to tell your dad? That's how serious it is?" Anna sighed and took Amelia's hand. "Out of all the people I didn't expect it to be him I think it's just life getting back at me for doing what I did with your dad. I support you Amelia as long as he's making you happy and he respects you"

"He does mom, he wants dad to know but he just doesn't want to make him ground me from seeing him. Are you going to tell dad?" Amelia asked with fear in her eyes that her mom could see.

She just took a deep breath and got up from the bed. "He was here Saturday and Sunday right?"

"Yeah"

"Did you guys...?"

Amelia just nodded, not daring to look her in the eye.

"Have you gotten your period? When are you supposed to get it?"

"I was supposed to get it yesterday..." Amelia whispered.

She knew sometimes her period was late which is why she didn't panic plus they used protection which is why she was more calm about it. But for her mom it was a big deal.

"Come on" she walked to the bathroom turning the light on. Amelia walked in and saw how her mom put out a pregnancy test on the counter.

"Mom we used..."

"Just in case i took all the precautions too and look at me having you. You're going to call him and tell him to come here so he will know this is going on you're in a relationship now and this is something he deserves to know" Anna explained and Unwrapped the pregnancy test, setting it on the counter. "Take this off so you won't get stuff on it"

"No it's okay" Amelia said immediately which caused her mom to pause at how fast she was to say no. Amelia saw how her mom was looking at her. It was the 'we're being honest to each other right now' face. "Mom please..."

"Amy what else are you hiding..."

"Mom..." Amelia was starting to tear up. One thing was telling her about feezxo and another was telling her Nate Jacobs hurt her and threatened her.

"Amy please I'm just trying to make sure you're okay. I'm on your side and I'm trying to protect you just please take it off"

Amelia sighed and took her sweater off while she cried and sat it down on the floor. Her mom looked at her bruises with a sad face.

"Who did this?" She asked but Amelia didn't answer; she just cried. She didn't want her to know she knew that her dad would make problems he wouldn't be able to fix. It was better if she kept quiet. "Amelia, who did this to you?"

"It wasn't him..." Amelia replied thinking that's what her mom was thinking.

"Amelia then who was it?"

"Nate, he thought I was going to tell someone about what he did to maddy because I saw them" Amelia cried and told her mom between sobs.

"It's okay, it's going to be okay. So call fez and take this I'll be back" her mom walked out and left Amelia there.

Her mom was calm which made Amelia calm. Amelia knew she wasn't pregnant well at least she hoped she wasn't.

It was just way too big of a problem right now.

Amelia didn't know what her mom was going to do about nate or fez she just wanted to take it by steps and figuring out if Amelia was pregnant or not was one of them.

Amelia picked her phone up and texted fez not wanting for him to hear her cry.

I need you to come to my house right now.

My mom knows she saw the camera and she's here.
I don't know if she's going to tell my dad I just need you to come here please.

I'm on my way baby.

Amelia went back to the bathroom and took the test. She sat it back on the box on the counter waiting for it to work. She sat on the ground away from the counter.

Even if she was sure that she wasn't pregnant she was scared that the rest would say she was.

She went over everything fez and she did that night. They took precaution and everything was fine. There was no way the test could say it was positive.

While Amelia sat there she cried and looked down to her arms looking at the bruises.

They weren't as sore as they used to be but if she pushed on them they would sting. She eventually covered herself with the sweater she had on once before but she didn't cover herself completely since there was no point on it anymore.

Eventually she heard steps in her room which caused her to wipe her tears and turned to the door to see Fez walking in. The tears she once wiped came down again. She quickly looked back down. Fezco went towards her and sat down next to her.

"Hey hey I'm right here. I got you okay" fez said while she wiped her tears again.

"I'm so sorry..."

"Amy it's ok I'm here I'm not going nowhere" Fez brought her into his hold letting her cry.

"Did she say anything to you?"

"She told me you were up here that you would explain"

"She saw the cameras" she began to explain disconnecting from him. "She knows since when we've been talking, when we started dating and what we did on Saturday. She made me take a pregnancy test..."

"And you think you are?"

"I don't know I haven't gotten my period but I don't think I am, we were careful..." Amelia told him between sobs.

"Hey hey calm down I got you okay. Where's the test?" He asked, looking around.

"In the counter I don't want to look at it. I'm not ready" Amelia replied. "I know I'm not but I'm just scared that it'll say I am..."

"It's okay I'll sit here and wait until you're ready"

"I don't know what she's going to tell us...fez what if she makes us not see each other I can't do that I want to be with you..."

"That's not going to happen, amy. I love you and I'm not just going to let you go especially not after all this and I'm sure your mom is going to understand. So don't worry about all that" fez comforted her while she laid on his shoulder leaning on the wall.

"What if I am? What then?"

"Then ima stay and help you out no matter what. I'm in on this Amelia I love you I'm not going nowhere" fez replied and laid his head on hers.

"I love you" Amelia whispered looking over to him.

"I love you more baby" he kissed the top of her forehead. She took her hand out to take his which caused him to see the bruises. Fez looked at them and Amelia sighed, taking the whole sweater off allowing him to see. "What..."

"I'm okay. It's okay..."

"Amy, no this is not okay, look at you. Who did this?!"

"It was nate but please fez don't get involved please" Amelia pleaded to him seeing how his face was filled with anger.

"But look at you right now babe. How do you expect me to let him get away with this shit first maddy and now you look at your hands man..." fez shook his head looking at her arms and running his hands through them. "Does it hurt?"

"Only when I move to push or press on them but I'm fine please fez promise me you won't do anything" Amelia took his hands off her so he would pay attention.

"Amy I could kill him for this shit what the fuck. You think ima allow him to put his hands on you like this?!"

"Babe please we can't do that just please listen to me don't get involved..." Amelia paused when she heard her door open and saw her mom walk in.

"Put this on your arms and put the sweater on and come downstairs" she instructed, handing her a bottle of cream. Amelia nodded and opened the cap. Fez took the bottle from her and put some on his hands and took her wrist and sat them on his lap and began to put the cream all over her bruises.

Fez could tell he was hurting her by the way her hand flinched. He looked at her then looked back down not knowing what to say. What he wanted to do was leave and beat Nate's ass like there was no tomorrow but he needed to be here for Amelia. He needed to stay and that's all he cared about. Staying with Amelia.

"Am I hurting you?" He asked.

"It's okay just keep going"

"No if I start hurting you too much tell me"

"It's okay" Amelia switched her arms for fez to put the cream on the other. She watched as he did it gently. Not wanting to hurt her. Amelia thought how did she get so lucky.

"Fez" Amelia called out making fez stop thinking he was hurting her. "Thank you for staying and helping"

"Of course I'm here for you okay and I won't say anything about nate not if you don't want me to okay"

"Thank you" Amelia said and got up from the floor putting her sweater on. Fez got up too and watched as she took the box from the counter hesitantly. She eventually took the test which was negative. Amelia let out a breath of relief is not that she didn't want a future with fez it's just she wasn't ready.

"Look it's not that I don't want to have a kid with you right now trust me I want to build a life with you and all I'm just not ready yet okay" fez leaned on the counter while Amelia just hugged him and he hugged back. Fez just let her feel how tight she was hugging him.

"We have to go tell my mom" Amelia let go of fez and he nodded.

"Let's go"

Both of them walked in the kitchen where Amelia's mom stood waiting for them. First thing she did was take the pregnancy test from her and see how it was negative. She was relieved as well then turned to see them.

"I'm not telling your dad because I know how he will be but if you two are taking this somewhere then you eventually will. For now don't hide stuff from me. I helped you today clear everything out and I understand about it but I need to make sure you stay safe and I can't do that if you lie to me ''Mrs Gonzales lectured them while both of them nodded.

"If you're going out with him tell me so I know don't lie about where you're going please you can lie to your dad and eventually we'll try to make him understand" then she turned to Fezco. "I'm trusting you to treat her good with all this happening I don't know who to trust or not I mean look at maddy so please just respect each other"

"And about Nate I can't say anything even though I wish I could because what he did to you was not okay but if your dad finds out we both know he's going to handle it his way and it won't end up good so please both of you keep quiet about it. And I know this might be uncomfortable to talk about with me but please be cautious a kid is not a joke and both of you are way too young okay?"

Amelia nodded along with Fezco. "I'm going to go get aurora your dad is going to be here in like half an hour just so you know"

She walked out the kitchen leaving Fez and Amelia there. She just walked over to him while he sat on the stool. She stood between his legs with her hands on her pockets. He just hugged her tightly and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"Do you want to eat?" She asked. "I was supposed to make food but then all this happened"

"I you want to"

Amelia smiled and walked behind the counter to get the stuff out. While she did both of them talked about ashtray and the show.

"We on like episode 17 but it's impossible to watch it with him bro like he always got commentary. You know what he really tired of people mentioning that other original and he just don't show up"

"Oh I remember that. Trust me he won't be disappointed when I found out what he was and what he did. I was just shocked. I wish I could go back because now I look at him a whole different way than when I did before" Amelia replied, mixing the stuff on the pan.

"He the devil or something?"

"Close but no" Amelia chuckled but stopped when she saw her dad walk in with maddy and Amelia's mom.

"Maddy is staying for as long as she wants and she's going with us this weekend for dad's birthday" he spoke to his wife. Maddy just walked towards Amelia and looked up to see fez.

"Hi fez" maddy greeted him with a soft smile while she wrapped her hands around Amelia.

"Witch takes me to you" Alejandro directed himself to fez. "Alex invited you?"

"I forgot you and Alex were besties" Maddy said. Alex was Amelia's and Maddy's cousin and he used to be Fezcos best friend.

"Yeah I was planning on going, I just needed to sort some stuff out" Fezco replied.

"You two are not going to school until Monday"

"Can we watch something in the theater room?" Maddy asked Amelia.

"Yeah you should get ash over here and we can watch the last episodes you have of the season" Amelia suggested to fez.

At first he was weirded out that Amelia was talking to him but he liked it. They could act like they were friends around her dad. He was okay with it. It definitely was better than pretending they didn't know each other at all.

"What season?" Maddy asked.

"Season two"

"Oh we definitely have to do that. Tio can we? pleaseeeee" maddy pleaded to mr Gonzalez who just looked at them. He figured it was normal that fez was friends with the girls he didn't think too much of it.

"Sure why not I need to make some phone calls" he got up and left the three of them there along with Mrs Gonzalez.

"That's good step by step better than acting like strangers" she said before she exited the room.

"She knows?" Maddy questioned the two of them.

"Everything," Amelia replied.

"I'm guessing she was fine with it?" Both of them nodded and Maddy smiled. "That's good go get ash because I've been dying to watch the sacrifice episode on that big ass screen"

"I'll go get him" fez got up and left while Amelia and Maddy got snacks ready.

-all I could think about when I wrote this was "will we ever learn we've been here before" but no pregnant cause fuck them kids.

Everything is calm again but we all know it won't stay that way.
