BAKUGO NEVER WANTED this. he never wanted to fall in love with his best friend. but guess what? he did and now he's paying the price. 

it all started in pre-school. bakugo and you had been playing with midoriya. you three were playing hero versus villian. you were a princess, bakugo was the hero, and midoriya the villian.

you had been running away with bakugo as he had just 'saved' you from the villian. you were giggling as you ran away from midoriya. you weren't watching where you were going, until you tripped over a crack on the concrete.

you closed your eyes, waiting for the impact. but you never fell. you opened your eyes to see midoriya, close to your face. he had his hand wrapped around your waist and he was looking into your [e/c]-eyes with his own emerald sparkling eyes.

that was when you gained a small admiration for the boy.

bakugo quickly yanked you away from midoriya, secretly angry at midoriya. he wanted to be your hero. the blush that formed on your face had gone away and bakugo quickly dragged you away.

you gave a shy smile and wave to midoriya, who waved back with his timid smile. 

after that day, things changed. bakugo got his quirk and he bullied midoriya with his gang. you stood silently at the side, and when they stopped, you rushed to midoriya's side. you would bandage the small cuts he gained and he gave you a smile, which made you flustered.

bakugo pretended to ignore it. he pretended that you were just being your friendly self. that you were just like that.

but his worst fear came true once you both hit high school. you and him had made it to your dream school, U.A. you were suprised that you made it but bakugo flicked your forehead, claiming that any friend of his would make it.

you gave him a happy smile and nodded, letting out a happy hum. bakugo grew a small blush and looked away. you, of course, never noticed these moments he had.

you both walked together into class 1-a, bakugo sitting on a chair before throwing his feet up on the desk. you shook your head at the action but didn't say anything, used to your cocky friends antics.

you sat there peacefully, until a certain blue hair male made way towards your table. he started scolding bakugo and bakugo quickly grew annoyed.

the two started bickering and you grew bored, staring up at the ceiling. 

"oh! it's you!" yelled the robotic like boy. you looked towards the door and saw him.

midoriya. 

you stood up and made way towards the boy, chatting with him happily. bakugo looked away at the sight, hurt. 

he never understood why you acted like that towards the quirkless boy. you treated him as if he was so special and bakugo always wanted that from you.

but you never noticed.

finally, the moment was ruined by a shaggy man. quickly, everyone sat down and stopped talking. you plopped yourself into the seat beside bakugo.

after learning that you all had to go change, bakugo stood up quickly. he turned and grabbed your wrist, dragging you down the hall towards the locker rooms.

"hurry up and change. i'll wait outside for you," he grumbled and you nodded before skipping inside the locker room.

bakugo strode into the locker room, quickly stripping and changing so he could wait for you. he zipped up his gym sweater and made his way towards the door.

suddenly, someone bumped into him. he looked down to see midoriya. he scoffed before shoving the green haired male out of his way.

he waited for you to come out of the locker room. you finally did, giggling with a pink skinned girl. 

"ah, bakugo! sorry I was talking to mina!" you said, catching your breath from laughing so much.

bakugo let out a tsk before grabbing your hand and walking over towards the field. 

then, the tests began. bakugo did his best to excel everyone, not only because he wanted to be first, but because he wanted to impress you.

and, he did. but you paid more attention to midoriya. your eyes somehow always drifted off towards the boy and bakugo noticed. 

he didn't like it.

finally, it was the last test and you all were waiting for midoriya to throw. bakugo scoffed at you shouting encouraging words towards midoriya. he knew midoriya wouldn't make it. he was quirkless.

he believed that until midoriya threw the ball so far, he beat Bakugo's own throw. bakugo's eyes widened and he turned to you, watching you go awe-struck over the boy. the way your eyes twinkled watching him.

he felt anger rise up in him and made his way over to midoriya, shouting. your eyes widened and you grabbed bakugo's wrist, trying to pull him back. it was useless though. the boy was stronger than you. 

you sighed in relief when Aizawa had stopped the boy and let go of his hand. after that, bakugo left and you followed him. you quickly changed and rushed out to see bakugo walking away.

you slid your arm around Bakugo's elbow. he let out a small huff of annoyance but let you. together, you two walked out quietly.

that was until a certain boy made bakugo stop in his tracks. you both turned and your cheeks dusted with a light shade of pink.

midoriya tried to explain what had happened but bakugo quickly shut him down, annoyed and angry. he then dragged you away and you allowed him too.

you both walked down the streets peacefully and bakugo finally calmed down. he dropped you off at your house and you gave him a peace sign and he hesitantly returned one.

"i'll call you later! you better answer you stupid extra!" he shouted at you. you smiled and nodded before going inside your house.

when bakugo finally called you, it was 9 PM. you answered at the third ring and he smiled to himself as he heard your voice. 

"bakugo..?" you whispered quietly, not wanting to wake your parents.

"hi you stupid extra," he muttered. you let out a small laugh and you two chatted for a bit. 

and he was happy.

until you ruined it.

"b-bakugo..?" 

"what is it?" he grumbled. 

"I-I think I like midoriya.." you mumbled. 

"what? I cant hear you, stupid. speak louder," he said, frustrated. and he wished he never said that because he never wanted to hear you say that.

"I..I like midoriya!" you squeaked out. Bakugo's breath hitched and he could feel his heart shatter when you said those words.

"bakugo..? you there?" you asked. you knew he hated the boy and although you didn't really understand why, you hoped he wouldn't be mad over your crush.

"..I-I think the old hag is calling me," he stuttered. of course, you didn't notice.

"okay then.. goodnight kacchan!" you happily whispered and he hung up.

his heart hurted and he felt..hurt. broken. you weren't the one he liked. 

suddenly, a suffocating feeling flooded his body and he quickly rushed into his bathroom. he stumbled towards the toilet and bent over, vomiting. he puked everything out of his stomach and he rubbed his eyes that were full of unshed tears. and he was suprised and scared at the sight before him. 

in the toilet, were yellow flower petals.
