Usually, Seijoh's volleyball games kept you on the edge of your seat. Your mind, however, was occupied somewhere distant. This morning, as you were getting ready for the weekend tournament the team you managed was a part of, you noticed an almost forgotten piece of sentiment. A little keychain sat in one of your drawers and it reminded you of last summer. More specifically, that keychain reminded you of Satori Tendo, whom you suddenly missed dearly. You regret allowing the two of you to lose contact when school started. A brief summer fling; that is not how you wanted to remember your time with Satori.

He was different from any boy you had met before, perhaps even a little crazy. He made you laugh and smile without truly trying. When he held your hand it made you feel loved, and that small kiss on the cheek he left you with sent butterflies swimming in your stomach. You missed him.

"Did you enjoy the game (Y/n)-chan?" Oikawa asked in a playful tone after his victory.ย

"Oh, yeah, it was fun," You told him. You knew admitting you were lost in your own little world would bruise his pride. Besides, if you told him there was something on your mind he would be curious, and the last thing you wanted was for Oikawa to try and "help" you find Satori. You helped your team clean up and you left the gym. It was the last game of the day for the tournament, so everyone was heading home.

You pushed open the heavy doors of the building and a gust of fresh air filled your lungs. The outdoors smelled much better than the sweaty courts you had been in all day. The setting sun was draping the city in a warm blanket of golden hues, creating a beautiful, maybe even romantic atmosphere. You turned your head, startled and confused when you heard,

"(Y/n)?" That voice sounded familiar, but you struggle to pin-point exactly who its owner was. You looked around the parking lot. There were dozens of players talking to each other as they got ready to leave so it was somewhat difficult to tell who called for you. However, you had a suspicion when you saw that tall red-head you had fallen for months ago, yet still made your heart skip a beat.

"Satori!" You cried out thanks to the overwhelming excitement that consumed you. He was standing several meters away, but it took no time at all to reach him. You leaped wrapped your arms around him, the force of your affectionate attack knocked him to the ground. Luckily, he fell onto a small patch of grass near a tree. Satori quickly returned your embrace and started laughing.

"I missed you!" You told him, pulling back so you could look at his pretty face.

"I missed you too," Satori said, grinning from ear-to-ear. "It's so good to see you again, you're still just as cute I remember!" You chuckled and placed your hands on the sides of his face, admiring his features. "Please tell me that you aren't dating anybody."

"Do you really think I could get over you that quickly?" You teased him with a smirk. "Call me a creep, but I was thinking about you all day today."

"Must've been fate, my dear," Satori remarked, part of him possibly believing it was fate you ran into each other. Satori reached up and cradled your face in his hands, just like you were doing to him. He stared into your eyes, those eyes he had been fantasizing about for months awaiting the chance to gaze into them once again.

"Can I kiss you?" Satori asked, his tone quieter than before. You nodded your head enthusiastically. Not a heartbeat later, he pressed his lips against yours. The kiss was sweet and innocent, although it did convey a longing equally as great on both sides. You really had missed each other, that much was obviously demonstrated in the kiss your shared sitting on the ground in the parking lot. You suddenly pulled back, realizing there was bound to be people watching. With a heavy heat settled on your cheeks, you got to your feet. You offered your hand to Satori, who you had no doubt didn't need your help getting up, but he accepted it anyway.

"Um, would you like to catch up over dinner?" You asked, noticing Satori didn't let go of your hand when he stood up. Satori smiled, glancing around to find a few confused stares from strangers.

"I'd love to, just let me tell my team," Satori said, a grin still plastered on his face. "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere!"
