Kyotani huffed, walking out of the gymnasium. Practice had been dismissed, which meant he could finally leave and be free of his annoying and pathetic teammates. He could finally leave school, and he could finally see his girl.

"Kentaro!" You called out, glee evident in your voice. Speak of the devil. Kyotani looked at you as you rapidly approached the ill-tempered boy with open arms. His arms lifted from his sides ever so slightly, accepting your embrace before you even reached him. You nearly lept into the air and wrapped your limbs around Kyotani's torso tightly, both arms and legs. Kyotani held you up carefully, the feeling of you squeezing him comforting. Kyotani's lips twitched, his scowl and constant frown fading for just a moment. To anyone who wasn't close with Kyotani would have not realized this was the vulnerable way he smiled.

"Are you ready to go?" You asked eagerly. Kyotani knew you were referring to the date you planned. He nodded his head and you hopped off your boyfriend. With a pleasant smile, you intertwined your fingers with Kyotani's. You both started walking in the direction of a neat little ice-cream parlor you had discovered a while back. The shop had everything from frozen yogurt, to gelato, to dairy-free ice-cream! You were excited to visit somewhere new with your boyfriend, whom you cared deeply for.

Sure, Kyotani was a bit hot-tempered, feisty, and a bit disrespectful to authority. However, none of his classmates and teammates really knew him as you did. He was a sweetheart, he just had a... special way of showing it.

Instead of getting cute text messages in the morning or before bed, Kyotani will send you something around the lines of, "did you eat, dipshit?" It had a thoughtful meaning behind it, he just said it a bit aggressively.

"Wow, there are so many flavors," You muttered to yourself as you peered into the glass display case in front of you. Kyotani was very divisive when it came to choosing what flavor of frozen custard he wanted, unlike yourself. You ultimately were forced to decide under a lot of pressure when the shop owner asked what you'd like. Regardless, you were pleased with the kind you picked out.

You sat beside your boyfriend Kyotani on a bench right outside the parlor. The weather was lovely, so it was no challenge to enjoy sitting outside together. Kyotani listened to you ramble on about your day, what you had learned, what you had got up to, and what you were feeling throughout the day. That was one thing you always loved and Kyotani, he was a good listener and hardly ever talked over you or interrupted you unless it was dire at that moment.

"There's something on your face," Kyotani pointed out in a quiet tone when there was a lull in the conversation.

"Oh?" You asked in surprise. "Where?"

"There," Kyotani pointed to your face, but you couldn't tell where he was pointed to. You rubbed your face where you guessed he had pointed to. He shook his head and you tried another spot, but again to no avail.

"Just--Hold on," Kyotani grumbled. He reached out his hand that wasn't holding his ice-cream. His fingers softly brushed against the skin at the corner of your mouth. Without flattering, Kyotani licked the dessert he gathered off your face from his finger. You felt your face blush and you grinned nervously. Amused with your reaction, Kyotani leaned over and connecting your lips. You could taste the flavored frozen treat on his lips, which only made the kiss more enjoyable. When Kyotani pulled away, your face remained a bit red. Kyotani scoffed and smirked ever so slightly.

"You're cute when you get flustered, babe."
