Being so young, it was difficult to imagine, but you managed to gain the crowds attention. JJ was only a few years younger, but that just meant she had the ability to strive to be just like you, well, in Derek's terms, she was a 'fangirl'. JJ had entrusted Spencer with the knowledge that she was pumped to get to work with you when the hearing of your transfer into the BAU was released. Spencer had undoubtedly told Derek, who was waiting for a perfect moment to spring it on you.
