You and Hotch had been best friends since high school. You grew up with each other, connecting in classes over your dream occupations. You ended up going to university together, both joining the BAU. During those years, Hotch and your friend Haley got together and got married. It didn't really affect you, but you were sure by university that you liked him more than a friend, so you had to keep your things private. When Hotch and Haley started having relationship issues, you were there to comfort him, as his friend. Perhaps, that's when Hotch realized he hadn't been appreciative enough. He started realizing how much you cared for him, how through thick and thin, you were there. For the first time he was looking at you differently. Not for just the friend who helped him out when needed, but the person who had helped him through it all.

so heres the deal. i want to end this book at 50 chapters. this means that i have the potential to continue it later on down the line to 100! i am struggling with inspo since i havent sat down and watched cm in a bit, but when i return to finish it off ill definitely continue this!

but for now id like to focus on fresher ideas in my mind and start putting out new books :)
