"Lexi that's crazy."you whisper while running a hand through your hair."i don't get how it is y/n,it's just a play about my life and everyone else's."lexi protests."it could offend people,especially your sister."you mention as she looks down at her hands.

"I've spent so long on this though,i can't just throw it away.It's going to be on next week,and if it affects people then it does."a sigh fell from her lips as she continued to scroll on her laptop."have you told anyone else?"you ask,sitting down beside her.

"No..i want it to be kind of a surprise.I guess to see their reaction,if it's good or bad."she explains.You slowly nod,still having your eyes fixated on her."what?"she asks,noticing your gaze."nothing,i just don't want this to have a bad affect on you."you whisper.

"Y/n you don't have to worry about me,it'll be fine."she smiles.You stay silent as you could feel lexi's eyes on you,when you look up she quickly turned back to her laptop."please don't tell anyone though,that there in it."she says,"yeah of course."you nod.

It goes silent again but this time you decided to speak up,"so whose in it?"i ask."okay so,it's me obviously and then you,maddy,Cassie,kat,nate,rue,my mom uh-"

"Wait your moms in it?"i say trying to hold in a laugh."yeah?-" "wait whose playing your mom."I ask as lexi also tries to hold in a laugh."Ethan."she whispers in my ear,which makes me burst out laughing."no fucking way."i say,covering my mouth with lexi continuing to laugh.

"I know but he plays it so well."she giggles."shit,i kind of just realised that this is my moment."lexi adds,smiling to herself."yeah,I'm happy for you lex."I beam which made her look at me for a moment before pulling me into a hug."thank you for always being here for me,i don't know what I would have done without you."she breathed into my neck which sent cold shivers down my spine."I'm always here if you need me,i love you."i reply,knowing for her it was in a friend way.

When lexi moved away,i noticed that her eyes were glazed over,as she instantly tried to cover up the fact she was crying."oh god."she chuckles,wiping away the tears with her sleeve.I give her a small smile and look down at her lips,when i realise what I was doing,i promptly looked away.

"I swear i always get emotional."she says,going back to typing on her laptop."lexi don't you think you should take a break?"you suggest,only now noticing the evident darkness under her eyes."no,ive barely worked on this today."she yawns,continuing to edit the script.

"Come on,you need sleep it's already really late."you demand but she chose to ignore you."lex."you repeat yet her eyes were still glued to the screen.You then shook her shoulder which seemed to grab her attention."what."she says,raising an eyebrow.

You just crossed your arms and waited for her to turn off her laptop."fine."she mutters,switching it off and putting it down on her nightstand."are you going to go home or stay here?"she asks while getting under the covers.

"Do you want me to stay?"i whisper while a grin started to form on her face,"is that even a question?get your ass in here right now."she orderd,pointing to the space next to her.I smiled to myself before getting into bed with her,feeling myself melt from how close we were.

"Goodnight."she whispers."night."i say,letting out a breath.My eyes were captivated by her,she looked so pretty even when she was asleep.I turned over and rested my head against the pillow,closing my eyes to fall into a deep slumber.
