Sage glanced at the entry of the warehouse seeing Mia walk in stressfully, Vince walking in was the one that made a confused frown appear on the woman's face

When Brian caught sight of Vince he pushed himself up from his crouching field, stomping towards him but Mia stopping her boyfriend in a split second "No, it's okay. Hey, wait! Reyes's guys were waiting for me at the market. Vince saved my life" Brian's expression immediately softened, a wave of silence hitting them before Sage spoke up "Mia, you're never going out alone again" Mia scoffed playfully at her sister's words "But–", "Not up for discussion"

"You hungry?" Dom's baritone voice caught everyone's attention, Vince not even hesitating to immediately nod as a reply "Yeah, sure"

"Good, 'cause you're saying grace" The older Torreto stated, Brian then shaking the man's hand gratefully "Thanks, Vince"

"Yo, lo estás quemando!" Leo criticized his friend's cooking who was grilling "Yo, this is how my mama does it, relax"

"Sí, pero tu mamá es la peor cocinera del mundo" Leo's words made Sage chuckle, standing up from the couch where she had been lounging and joining the two men by the grill "Yo, don't you be talkin' about my mama"

The woman backed away from the grill the minute she got there, with a cough caused by the burning smell of the food, she groaned in disgust and eventually went back to her original seat on the couch

"Yeah! Come on man what's living!" Roman spoke happily as he joined the three by the couches, clinging his beer bottle onto Hans, Sages, and Tej's "Cheers, cheers, cheers. So we in Brazil it's the good life"

"So you got– you got a little more than 10, 11 million coming. What you gonna do with your money?" Roman questioned looking at Tej "Me? Actually, man, I been thinking about opening up a garage back home, a place where people can bring their cars and not get completely ripped off, you know what I mean" The response made Sage nod and mutter a 'yeah' but Roman frown "Really? So your dream is to start a day job? That's– That's stupid like why would you"

"No, it's maybe stupid for you Roman" Sage shrugged at the man and Tej nodded in agreement "Nah it's not stupid at all man, I love what I do"

"That don't make no sense to me–" Roman started once again but was interrupted by Leo who turned to face them "I know what I'm gonna do with my money. Buy some cooking lessons for my man" The statement made Sage stifle a laugh because of the beer she had in her mouth, only after swallowing it was she able to react "See? See? There you go with that negativity, man. You know me, money ain't a goddamn thing"

"It's gonna take a little more than money to learn how to cook, bro that's horrible," Roman said as he held the burnt steak in his fingertips, Sage lightly shoved Han to get his attention, which she did, motioning over to Gisele who was by a police vehicle playing around with some weapons. Han grabbed another beer from the table and headed over to Gisele, leaving a smiling Sage behind on the couch

Sage felt a hand on slide down her shoulder which made her look up, seeing a smiley Dom behind her, she propped herself on her knees, the couch cushion dipping under her weight, she threw her arms around Dom and brought him down to her level, connecting their lips momentarily

"We're less than 24 hours from the biggest celebration of our life" Sage only heard part of Roman's statement, her attention instead being on Dom who lifted her from the couch by snaking his arms around her waist with ease, making her giggle and tighten her hold around the back of Dom's neck in order for her not to fall

"Is that the reason you let him beat you in the quarter-mile?"Roman laughed along with yelling in Dom's direction who held up a cheeky smile, "That was a baby gift!"

"Nah, that's messed up!" Brian confessed looking at Roman then at Dom "No, it wasn't" Mia joined in now also laughing "That was a baby payment!"

"Wait, wait, wait" Tej spoke as the rest of the team joined them besides Dom and Sage who stood watching the team from a short distance with smiles on their faces "Hold on a second, so did he just smack the ass or did he grab and hold on to it?" Tej announced which made everyone laugh and Brian scoff jokingly, everyone now congratulating the couple

"Baby gift, huh?" Brian joined Dom and Sage "I have no idea what they're talkin' about" The older Torreto said making Brian chuckle

"Toast" Dom announced making the team gather in a circle "Money'll come and go, we know that. But the most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Right here. Right now."

"¡Salud, mi familia!" Everyone held their beers up, clinging them together and repeating Dom's words, happily

It was now later at night and everyone had separated to get sleep for the night, Sage stepped out of the bathroom to be met with Dom who was propped up against the bed "Do you have a shirt that I can borrow? All of mine are either dirty or wet from washing" The woman spoke as she rummaged through her clothes scattered around whilst holding a towel to cover her chest, meanwhile Dom just admired her from his seat

When the woman snapped her head at him, he quickly stopped his trance, standing up and tossing Sage a regular white tee. Her throwing it over her head and shoulders then releasing the towel and pulling it over the remainder of her body

Dom grabbed Sage's hand and dragged her to the bed, both of them falling on it, her going down with a squeal before stopping herself from falling onto Dom by putting both arms on either sides of him, he held a teasing smirk which made Sage suppress one as well, she brought her head down to his and connected their lips, kissing the Torreto passionately

Dom rolled the two over, now causing Sage to be under him, his staring made the woman's cheeks turn a light shade of red "What?" The woman asked while she caressed the Toretto's face with both of her soft hands

"Will you be my girlfriend?" The words fell out of Dom's mouth before he could stop himself, Sage's eyes widening and hands stopping their circular motions on his face made the man regret what he'd just asked "What?" The woman muttered slightly confused and still trying to process if she heard right "Sage Hanlon will you be my girlfriend?" This time the question sounded more genuine and certain, a hopeful smile rose on Dom's lips that were hiding tons and tons of nervousness behind them "Are you kidding me?. . . Yes! Of course I will be your girlfriend" The waves of relief that washed over Dom were uncountable, Sage drew his face back to hers, this time the kiss was more heated, Sage being the one to flip them over without breaking the kiss, leaving her to be on top

"Guess you won't need this after all" Dom said as he tugged on the hem of his shirt that Sage was wearing, the woman chuckling softly before the shirt was peeled off of her body by Dom, her repeating his actions seconds later

hi there! i just wanted to say that ive been thinking like crazy if i should've made them boyfriend and girlfriend now or later on, but i decided to do it now before the whole heist, i know that it feels super fast but if i did it later on it wouldn't really make sense for the plot that im planning on writing, so i hope you guys are okay with them dating this fast <3 if not please let me know in the comments and I'll change it!
