Sage sat on the hood of the vehicle  whilst Dom's arms were loosely wrapped around her waist and hers around his torso, the two stared at each other with pure admiration in their eyes

"You think we got enough backup" Sage spoke jokingly, looking back at the many people who were wrapped up in their own conversation "More than enough"

"How did you even get all of them to agree?" The question made the older Torreto softly chuckle "Everyone wants the thrill of being able to upstage and embarrass authorities every once in a while"

The woman's head snapped towards the heavy thuds approaching them once she identified them as Hobbs she calmly turned back to Dom and smirked "Here we go," Sage mumbled locking eyes with Dom once again

"Hey, Torreto," The mention of Dom's name made him slowly trail his eyes from Sage to Hobbs but still keep his arms around her "You're under arrest"

"Arrest?" Dom repeated the word vaguely "I don't feel like I'm under arrest. How about you Brian,?"

"No, not a bit, not even a little bit" The blonde's response seemed to irritate Hobbs slightly "Oh, just give it a minute, it'll sink in" There was stunned silence and by now Sage had noticed Dom's eyes were flickering in-between Hobbs and Elena, which made her do the same until she realized what the Torreto was actually looking at, it was the silver cross necklace, Dom had told the woman about it, but only mentioned that it was a shared possession between himself and Letty. The real question was how Elena had gotten it

"We didn't kill those feds, that was Reyes" Brian stated but Hobbs spoke as soon as Brian finished "I don't give a shit, I'm just here to bring in two assholes whose names hit my desk"

"Yeah, that sounds like a real hero" The blonde muttered, this time Hobbs stepping closer to him "That's funny, coming from a guy who took the oath of a cop a then went against everything it stood for, or some wannabe tough guy prick who beat a man half to death with a socket wrench. Yeah real though" Silence fell over everyone, Sage saw the absolute anger in Dom's eyes who was trying his best not to burst

"You turn around and put your hands behind your back" The words made Dom slide his hands off of Sage's waist and step closer to Hobbs "I don't think so"

"Your mistake is thinking you got a goddamn choice, boy" Then, Hobbs team all pulled their guns out, pointing it at Dom but mostly at random people, Sage suppressed a smirk and glanced at everyone behind her who hadn't even flinched

"And your mistake; thinking you're in America. You're a long way from home. This is Brazil!" Dom's cue made everyone now join in and pull out their weapons, now clearly being outnumbered. Sage looked at each officer with an innocent smile as she rested her chin on the palm of her hand  "Come on boss, another day. Come on, H, it's a lot of heat"

"I'll see you soon Torreto" Hobbs gritted through his teeth not moving a muscle away from Dom who had a smirk on his face "I look forward to it, cop" Hobbs men slowly followed him out and whilst so it was completely silent

Sage hopped down from the hood of the car as soon as the military cars were seen driving off, shooting a proud smile at her best friend

Sage plopped down on the bed and took her hair down from her low ponytail, Dom closing the door behind him as he entered the bedroom, he hadn't spoke much since the confrontation earlier, they were now back at the warehouse and everyone was preparing to go to sleep

"You know, you don't have to wait until I fall asleep, you can just go now" Sage spoke looking at Dom unbothered knowing that he would go to Elena's either way "What?" The Torreto questioned confused even if he exactly knew what the woman was talking about

"Look, Dom, I'm not stupid, both you and I saw that Elena had the necklace. How she got it? I don't know and I don't wanna know. You're planning on going there to get it back, so go now instead of waiting me out until I fall asleep" Sage stated and a wave of sympathy hit Dom's features "I must've dropped it when we were running–"

"Dom. Go, okay?" Sage interrupted the man as she stood up from the bed and went to stand in front of him, placing her hands on his chest and smiling positively at him

Dom nodded with a thankful look on his face, he leaned in and kissed Sage softly before he parted their lips and walked towards the bedroom door, opening it and glancing one more time back at Sage who had a reassuring smile on her lips
