Fourteen Part Two

Fridge screamed as he fell from the helicopter. Tillie spoke up, "Of all things, I totally wasn't expecting that Spencer."

Spencer shrugged.

Fridge grunted as he hit the ground, "Ow!"

Bethany gasped when they heard it.

Fridge swiftly sat up, and looked over at the herd. Standing up, he realized what happened. One of the albino rhinos made eye contact with him, effectively stopping it in its tracks. Fridge shook his head, at a loss for words.

The rhino grunted, a puff of air appearing.

Fridge turned and started running in the opposite direction. All of the rhinos gave chase after him.

The helicopter flew right over where the rhinos were just running. Spencer jumped out, landing on the ground. Leaning down, he grabbed the jewel. Then, he tossed it back up to Martha who caught it. Spencer jumped up, grabbing hold of the landing skids. He yelled out, "Turn us around Alex."

Tillie leaned forward, repeating what was said in case he didn't hear it.

As Alex proceeded to turn the helicopter around, Fridge repeatedly screamed in the distance.

"No! No! No!" He gasped while running.

Spencer began climbing back into the helicopter.

"Help! Ah, oh my god!" Fridge let out before being trampled, causing him to lose a life.

Tillie covered her face, "Oh my god!"

Spencer looked up, "Get ready to roll us to the side."

Alex looked back, "What?"

Martha and Tillie looked at him in shock.

A loud ding echoed through the sky.

"When I tell you, roll the helicopter 90 degrees to the right."

Spencer looked up, as Fridge kept falling closer to them. Once he got close, Spencer yelled. "Now!"

Without hesitation, Alex rolled the helicopter 90 degrees to the right like Spencer asked. As Fridge fell through the side openings, Spencer grabbed a hold of him.

Fridge looked at him upset, "You pushed me out jackass!"

Soon after they left the canyon, Alex landed the helicopter on a flat plain. Shutting it off, everyone began to pile out.

"Wow, that was insane."

"You know what? You were amazing Spencer!"

"You are a great pilot Alex!"

"Thanks."

"And you too Spencer, you were incredible." Bethany let out while placing her hands on her hips.

Spencer began, "Well thank you." He pointed at Alex, "He was an awesome pilot. You killed it." They all continued talking amongst the group.

Fridge looked at them shocked, "Excuse me! I was the one that was the human sacrifice."

They all stopped and looked at him.

Tillie spoke up, "You're right Fridge. Thank you for what you did." She walked over, wrapping her arms around him. "I wasn't expecting that, but thank you."

Fridge returned her hug, before looking back at the rest.

"You don't know what's on the underside of those rhinos. You really don't want to know. I've seen a lot of things in my life, I felt it on my face too. I will never be able to erase that from my memory."

Tillie noticed the others trying not to laugh when Fridge said the last part.

Martha and Spencer let out a laugh.

Tillie shook her head.

"That's funny, huh." Fridge shook his head, "Go ahead, laugh away."

They also started to laugh.

Fridge and Tillie looked at each other, trying not to crack a smile.

Alex said excitedly, "I've been trying to get across this canyon for 20 years! Do you realize how big of a deal this is?"

He looked around, as a buzz was heard. Alex smacked the back of his neck, realizing what just happened.

He whispered, "Mosquito." He fainted.
