kissing practice

Your eyes widened with alertness, awkwardly laughing at what Reiner had suggested: "Don't joke about that, Braun."

"I'm being serious." Reiner, confused as to why you had assumed he was joking, sat up: "I already took your first kiss, didn't I? What harm would a second kiss be?"

"I bet that you would love to kiss me again, wouldn't you?" Feeling your heartbeat race faster, you turned your face away from him: "Do you want practice for your date with Christa tomorrow, or something?"

"Sure."

Your pupils rose, meeting with his.

Reiner's expression had softened, though it was difficult to see as he was barely visible in the darkly lit room; the moonlight was the only light source of the area, but the silver glow beautifully captured his structured face.

His blonde hair had been freshly-cut; his short locks appeared soft to the touch as they caressed his smooth, pale skin. His messy hair stuck up from different places: he used his free hand to comb back the loose strands that hung over his forehead.

You could see the carvings of his muscles through the forest-green shirt that clung to his skin. He still had his silver-metallic gear still laced to his hips that complimented the bronze colour of his eyes. You could tell that he hadn't wasted any time before going to find you, not even taking off his harness.

But the thing that drew you in the most was his eyes: they refused to look away from you. You had grown entranced by those golden, dark, solemnly empty eyes that lacked any emotion. They were highlighted by the deep, lilac marks under his pupils.

You couldn't deny it, Reiner was infuriatingly good looking. His face was mature and handsome.

"Fine," You whispered as his eyes lit up with surprise, "I'll humour you, let's give this a go."

Reiner opened his arms, offering you complete control over him with a satisfied smirk.

You quickly lost all of your usual confidence.

Your hands twitched closer to Reiner's face, awkwardly grabbing hold of his sharp jawline. Your body nervously inched towards his as you puckered your lips, watching the blonde swiftly break out into loud, genuine laughter.

"What?" You sheepishly spoke, briskly letting go of his face.

"That's how you're going to kiss Eren Yaeger? You look like you're in pain." The blonde chuckled, using his arm to hold his stomach together: "I almost feel bad for the poor guy."

"I was trying my best, that's so mean.." You waved your hands in the air defensively, "You try. Show me how you would kiss Christa."

Reiner began to inch closer towards you, "You sure you can handle that?" The blonde male teased you, balancing his weight on his hand as he lean closer, "I remember how flustered you got last time we kissed each other."

"I can handle myself just fine, Braun."

"If you insist."

Reiner began by placing his knee in between your thighs, using his right hand to hold you by your waist. His fingertips on his left hand trickled up to your jawline, pulling your face closer towards his.

"I would start by holding you by your waist, just like this." He softly whispered against you, talking you through everything that he was doing: "And then cup your face with my hand, just so that I could get a better look at you."

He placed his lips on your cheek, softly kissing your skin. Reiner's kiss was slow, and gentle - his lips felt soft and smooth. Both large hands dropped towards your waist, pulling your figure against his.

"I'd kiss your cheek," He then kissed your forehead, and then your cheek once more, "And kiss the rest of your face, too. You're cute to tease, how could I not?"

You could feel Reiner's body heat radiate onto you as you became overstimulated by the sensations around you; his smell; his heat; his touch.

"I'd stare into those eyes.. savouring the moment." His eyes glanced down at your lips teasingly as he licked his lips subtly, before his eyes met with yours: "And then, I would kiss your lips."

Prepared to feel his lips against yours once more, you repeated him: "And then.. you would kiss my lips."

Reiner gazed deeply into your eyes, before his eye lids fluttered closed as his lips brushed against yours.

Your heart was beating rapidly against your ribs as your hands trickled to his muscular shoulders. You felt his tense body with your hand, able to feel his thick muscles through his leather jacket.

Reiner's kiss was passionate: far more passionate than the last kiss you had shared. His fingers lingered against your cheek to pull you closer against him. His eyebrows were twitched together.

You parted your lips from eachover, instantly inhaling a breath of fresh air; still holding eachover closely. However, after just a moment: Reiner leant back in, closing the gap between your lips once more.

Reiner's lips tasted sweet: you savoured the taste as you kissed him, feeling the tip of his tongue trace against yours.

Reiner's left hand still firmly held onto your waist, pulling your body closer against his. His large figure loomed dominantly above yours as he took control of the situation. With his long, slender middle finger, Reiner traced patterns on your back: drawing in circular motions.

Reiner's thumb traced down against your chin, nudging down to part your lips for him to deepen into the kiss; his tongue began to trace patterns against yours as he savoured the taste of your lips.

Reiners expression was still stained with genuine surprise as you both pulled away to breathe, struggling to register what had just occurred between you both, "Y/N."

"Reiner?"

His forehead was pressed against yours, his breaths on your lips: "I- how was that?"

Your eyes fluttered closed, "I'm sure that Christa would love it-"

"Y/N, I-"

Knock! Knock!

Reiner Braun flinched as the door to the room knocked. You instantly sat apart, creating distance between both of your bodies.

"Hello?" You called out with a flushed expression, suddenly feeling unable to look Reiner in the eye, "Who is it?"

"Are you alright in there, Smith?" Levi's brooding voice called out whilst he rested his shoulder on the plastered wall.

Feeling relieved that it was Levi who had knocked on the door (and not someone else), you began to stand and steady your posture.

"Come out." The brooding Captain ordered, "I'm walking you back to your dormitory. It's late."

Reiner gestured towards you, signaling that you could leave and that he would stay in the small room until the coast was clear to avoid a lecture from Captain Levi. You nodded, brushing off your clothes and opening the door to be met with a cold-faced Levi.

"I've been told that you're arguing with Erwin again," Levi turned his head away from you, crossing his arms over his chest whilst you began to journey through the barracks, "Not that I care."

"Did he tell you what happened?"

Levi nodded: "Erwin also asked me to talk to you for him. He wanted me to smooth things over."

"Of course, he did."

"You should give him a break this time, Y/N." Levi glanced at you from the corner of his eye, before his slender brows twitched together: "Erwin's dealing with a lot right now, and you scared him shitless today when you ran off like that. He tried to go after you, but couldn't find you in the forest."

"That's unlike you to say," You smiled with a hint of surprise, "But, if you insist, then I'll talk to him tomorrow and apologise."

"Good." Levi sighed with relief that his lecture was over, "I hate it when you and Erwin argue, since you both decide to place me in the middle of it - which is every time you argue, mind you." His steel eyes briskly rolled back, "Why is it never Hange? Or even Nanaba?"

"Because," You shrugged, "They'd probably instigate, or accidentally make it worse."

"I can't argue against that."
