twenty six

"No, BB. I really fucked up. He won't even answer my calls." Olivia said. She was pacing around her bedroom, biting on the nail of her thumb. She heard BB sigh on the other end of the phone.

"I can't even lie, you did." BB said. Olivia closed her eyes and furrowed her eyebrows in frustration. She brought her thumb and pointer finger to the bridge of her nose, but let out a gasp when she thought of something.

"I didn't kiss Jayson at the party, did I?" She asked.

"Tongue and everything." BB said. Olivia groaned and collapsed on her bed, face shoved into one of her many pillows.

"Fuck." She said to herself

"Okay, you know what? You're coming with me to Cassie's." BB told her. Olivia picked her head up.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Cassie invited me, Maddy and Kat over to talk. I don't know about what, but bitch, you need to get out of the house and stop thinking about anyone with a dick." BB explained. Olivia chuckled.

"Yeah, I'll pass. I'm not on good terms with Kat and I'm not close with Lexi, Cass and Maddy like that." Liv said. Even though she couldn't see her, she knew BB was rolling her eyes on the other end of the phone.

"They think you're close with them, though. And don't talk to Kat. Who cares?" BB said. She didn't hear Liv argue, so she spoke up after a few seconds of silence.

"I'll pick you up in twenty." BB said. Before Olivia could protest, BB had already ended the phone call.

When they arrived at Cassie's house, Cassie, BB, Olivia, Maddy, Kat and Lexi all sat around in a circle at her dining room table. No one said anything for a second, and the awkwardness was killing all of them. Especially for Kat. She didn't know Olivia would be coming, and she felt intimidated.

"I don't know what you're gonna say. But this feels, like, really dramatic." Kat said, breaking the silence.

"Yeah. This is spooky." BB agreed.

"It is not spooky, BB. I just..I need your advice on, like, two things. And I need you guys to promise me not to say a single fucking word." Cassie said. Maddy and Lexi made eye contact since they sat next to each other. Olivia shifted in her seat. No one said anything, just nodded their heads. Cassie carried on.

"So, the night of Daniel's Halloween party, something happened." Cass said.

Olivia shifted again. A lot happened at that party for each of them. She would never admit to it, but when Cassie told Olivia and the rest of the girls that she hooked up with McKay, it was almost relieving. Olivia wasn't the only one going through relationship shit.

"Wait. Am I hearing this correctly? You wanna tell McKay that you made out with Daniel at the carnival and on Halloween?" Maddy clarified.

"Yeah. But, I don't..I don't have to say it was Daniel." Cassie said.

"Bitch, that's the craziest idea I've ever heard. Right?" Maddy questioned, looking at Olivia. Liv nodded.

"Honestly, Cass, I'm with Maddy. If it didn't mean anything to you, you shouldn't tell him and risk fucking things up." Liv said.

"For sure." BB agreed.

"Yeah. But I wanna be honest with him." Cassie disagreed. Lexi made a noise, showing she agreed with Maddy and Liv.

"You cannot tell McKay." Maddy shook her head.

"But it's not like I cheated cheated." Cassie said.

"Kissing is worse. It's so much more intimate." Maddy told her. Olivia looked down.

She didn't hook up with Jayson or anything when he took her home, but she did kiss him. And, she hated to say it, but Maddy was right. Whether Liv was drunk or not, kissing was more intimate than a random hookup.

"Yeah. If anyone brings it up just deny it." Olivia said, looking up again. Maddy nodded.

"Okay. But, I just..I don't want there to be something this bad between us forever." Cassie said. For the first time during the discussion, Kat spoke up.

"Honestly, Cassie, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like you guys are gonna be together forever." She said. Liv threw her a judgmental look.

"Kat, what the fuck is your problem? You're being a bad friend now. You were a bad friend to me and this whole new personality is seriously unlikeable." Maddy told Kat. Kat was surprised she would say something like that.

"World star." BB said as she hit her vape. Both herself and Olivia laughed.

"Why? Because I won't sit and listen to you bitch and moan about your psychotic, abusive boyfriend who you've literally broken up with a thousand times?" Kat asked, leaning into the table.

"It was literally the lowest point in my life, so, yeah. That and the fact that you're just fucking mean." Maddy said. Kat was quick to remark.

"Maddy, ever since I've met you all you talk about is yourself, your clothes, your boyfriend, whatever superficial shit you think is so fucking important. Sorry I'm not longer interested." Kat defended.

"I don't know about everyone else, but I miss the old Kat. You know, the one who had a sense of humor and wasn't a fucking cunt." Maddy told her and the group. Olivia chuckled.

"The old Kat was a bitch, too." She mumbled, barely loud enough for everyone to hear. She couldn't help herself, and she didn't want to jump into the conversation too much. She might have been a major part of the war, but this battle wasn't hers to fight. It was between Maddy and Kat.

"Damn." BB said, taking everything in.

Kat looked around the table to see if anyone would defend her. When no one said anything, she got up and left from embarrassment. Olivia watched her, looking her up and down as she left the house.

BB and Olivia left soon after, and so did Maddy. BB drove Olivia over to Fezco's per request. She didn't really think Liv should go over, so she waited in the car.

"Yo." Ashtray said through the security camera. Liv looked at the camera and unintentionally pouted.

"Hey, Ash." She said. Ashtray must have accidentally kept his finger on the button, because Liv could hear Fezco ask who it was. When Ashtray told him it was Olivia, Fezco didn't say anything. She was confused at first, but surprised when he came to the door.

"Hey." He said, leaning on the doorframe.

"Hi." She responded. Neither of them said anything before Olivia broke the silence.

"Can we please talk?" She asked.

"I don't really think there's shit to talk about. You fucked your ex boyfriend just because you were upset with me, and that's that." Fez said, his arms crossed. She shook her head.

"I didn't fuck him, Fez. I wouldn't do that." Liv told him. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Oh, so you just hooked up with him in the middle of that party? Cmon, bruh. You seriously expect me to believe that shit?" He asked, standing off of the frame. He put his arms out to his sides.

"I did not have sex with Jayson that night. I have never had sex with Jayson. I kissed him, and I know that's no excuse. But I was drunk and I thought it was you." She said.

She didn't actually think it was Fezco. She knew it was Jayson, but she was drunk. She knew Fez wouldn't put up with that excuse, and she had to come up with something to not loose him.

"Olivia, you kissed him and danced with him after seeing him walk down the steps with some girl. Then you fucking kicked her off your team. You mean to tell me you weren't jealous?" He asked, raising his voice a little out of frustration. She looked away from him and down at the ground.

"I don't know." She mumbled, being honest. She heard Fezco scoff.

"Look, Liv, I love you. But clearly you got some shit to figure out first before you're ready to commit to this." He said. She looked up, and as mad and frustrated as he was, he hated to see that sad look on her face.

"Fez, I..I don't love Jayson. Never have, never will." Liv said.

"We've been friends for a long ass time. I really don't wanna loose you because you can't pick which guy you want. You need to figure your shit out, bruh. I'm serious." He said.

She didn't say anything. She didn't know what to say. So, he looked her up and down one last time before walking away and closing the door.

"Fuck." She mumbled, walking back to BB's car. Once she sat down in the passenger seat, neither of the girls said anything. BB saw everything, and she was waiting for Olivia to break.

Liv didn't last long. After a few seconds, she couldn't take the silence anymore and started sobbing. BB, feeling bad, held her head and stroked her hair.

"I'm so sorry." BB said, still holding Liv.

And that was that.
