Olivia Marie Jackson

Olivia Jackson was the "it" girl of East Highland. She had everything she wanted at her fingertips; a good boyfriend, good grades, looks, money, friends.

Her parents put a lot of pressure on her ever since she could remember. They wanted her to be the best at everything she did no matter what it was. Their expectations were high and she would do anything to impress them. It didn't always make her happy, having to constantly be the best of the best and uphold that image. Honestly, it was a lot of fucking pressure.

So she partied. Like, a lot. That's how me and her became somewhat friends. We'd see each other all the time at high school parties and enjoyed some of the same drugs and alcohol. Not just that, but I'd see her around Fezco's store all the time. Not like we were super close or anything. Liv wasn't really close with anyone besides Fezco.

Liv and Fezco have been best friends since she was 11 and he was 13. Seems like a big age difference at that age, but it fit them. She would sneak by his house without anyone knowing so they could hang out. She didn't want her parents knowing she was hanging around kids like Fezco. She knew they'd ground her or take her phone away or something stupid as a punishment.

So every night after dinner when Olivia said she was going to her girl friend's house, she'd ride her bike past the neighborhood security guard and down to Fezco's house. They'd hang out and she'd leave most nights around eight so she could get back before her parents fell asleep.

Fezco was her first crush. She didn't know if he felt the same way or not, but she knew it would never work out. It was weird for her, though. She liked a certain type of species of men, but she hid that type she liked and put up a front.

When asked, Liv would say she liked jocks. Tall guys. Guys with money who could take care of her. In actuality, that's the opposite of what she wanted. She was tired of being taken care of in life, tired of everything being so perfect and tired of all of the fake bullshit. She wanted something real. She liked guys with tattoos. Guys who wore rings and smoked cigarettes, vaped or even just fucked with a lot of weed. She liked guys who put up a hard front and acted tough, but had a soft spot for her and only her.

She liked Fezco.

But Olivia couldn't have what she truly liked. She was a good girl. She was a cheerleader who dated one of the boys on the football team, just like her mom had. She'll graduate high school, go to college and get a degree for nursing or something else in the medical field. She'll have 2 kids and a husband and a golden retriever and live life in another gated community somewhere else in the hills.

Her whole life was planned out for her already. However much confidence or happiness Liv put out, it was all fake. She never truly felt that way. But sometimes, we don't get what we want. Sometimes, we suck it up and live the "perfect" lives we're supposed to. That's how she felt ninety nine point nine percent of the time.

Well, before everything got all
fucked up.
