i know a lot of you might hate me. you might not like the things i do because of the whole drug addict situation, but i'm praying you don't hate me for slowly bringing olivia down with me.

she's very persuasive. like, no matter how hard you try, you can't say no to her.

when she called me up crying about fezco and asking me for drugs to help her out, i couldn't say no.

the beautiful thing about getting high is time ceases to exist. i mean, you can just stay in the good moments without the fear that they'll come to an end.

i know olivia needed that. she was in a bad spot, lacking those good moments she didn't know how to hold on to.

but i could teach her how to do that.

rue dipped the key into the small ziplock bag of white powder. olivia's tear stained face leaned on rue's shoulder, and rue brought the key up to liv's nostril. she helped her sniff, and rue quickly did the same after olivia collapsed on the bed.

me, liv, elliot and jules started hanging out more. which was kind of relieving considering liv never usually hung out with anyone at school.

plus, she was keeping my secret about relapsing from jules. at the same time, i was keeping her secrets about drugs, too. she wasn't addicted or anything like i was. but she still didn't want anyone to find out.

no one besides me or elliot.

"when was the last time you guys played truth or dare?" rue asked, leaning up against one of the pillar's in the school hallway.

liv and elliot stood right next to her, jules the furthest away. elliot had liv's hair tie on his wrist. they were messing around earlier about something stupid, and he had forgotten to take it off.

plus, it smelled like her shampoo, which smelled really good.

"i'll go first. someone ask me." olivia smiled.

even though she felt broken after her and fezco's talk, she knew she had an image to upkeep around here. it was just what she was used to, what came natural to her. it was easier that way, to go out like she was her usual, confident self and save the tears for the pillow.

"olivia jackson..truth or dare?" elliot asked, looking over at her. she smiled, thinking for a second.

"dare." she said.

elliot looked around the hallway. his eyes fell on lexi because olivia had given her a dirty look. he followed the direction lexi was coming from and saw the vice principal standing there. he smirked and looked at olivia again.

"i dare you to go flirt with vice principal garcia and see if you can get his number." he said. olivia looked over at rue, who shrugged.

she stopped leaning up on the wall and weaved through a few students. then, she made eye contact with garcia and smiled.

"hi, vice principal garcia. how are you doing today?" she greeted. liv looked back over at rue, jules and elliot, who were smiling back at her.

"i'm good, ms. jackson. how are you?" he asked.

liv was a very, very attractive girl.

"a little upset, actually. my grades are dropping, mr. garcia, and it's really troubling me." she groaned, throwing an arm over the vice principal's shoulder and twirling her hair. a student walking by laughed and cheered her on, but garcia didn't seem to notice.

and, she was hard to turn down and an easy turn on.

"well, we can't have that. can we?" mr. garcia said. he noticed olivia getting closer to him and put his hand on her lower back. she pouted and shook her head, pulling her phone out of her pocket.

"do you think, maybe i could..get your number and you can help me catch up on some things?" she asked.

she swung her phone at him and steadied her right elbow on his shoulder, playing with the rim of his glasses. it was clear he was flustered, and a few more students around them started to laugh at what liv was doing. even when she was flirting with a literal fucking teacher, they still loved her.

and, like i said before, she's very persuasive.

"of course, ms. jackson. i'm glad you came to me for the help." mr. garcia said. he took her phone and typed his number in it. almost immedietly after he did so, olivia mumbled a thank you and walked away. he stared at her ass when she did.

"there's no way that just fucking happened." jules said. olivia rolled her eyes and handed her phone to elliot, showing him the proof.

"unfortunately it did. i fucking hate men." she groaned.

hanging out with liv, jules and elliot all together was the first time i can remember having genuine fun in, like, a really long time. even when jules fucking pissed on elliot's car and when elliot almost got beat up when he asked jayson and his group of friends if they wanted to shit on each other.

but i couldn't help but notice how close liv and elliot were actually getting right under me and jules' noses.

rue and jules were in the bathroom messing around while elliot and liv were both in the bedroom, getting ready for bed. elliot had just lit up a blunt, and was sharing it with olivia.

he had seen her around school before rue introduced them to one another. she was the pretty girl everyone was intimidated by. he didn't know how free spirited she was before he met her.

or she was just going through a lot of shit right now.

"so, olivia. what are you really doing here?" elliot asked, leaning on the bed. olivia smiled at him and furrowed her eyebrows.

"what do you mean?" she laughed.

"c'mon. you have a fucking mansion in the hills. you're pretty. you have your shit together. and, for some reason that i've been trying so hard to figure out, you're hanging around with people like me and and rue all of a sudden. why?" he wondered.

olivia thought for a moment, then shrugged and walked over to the bed.

"i like you guys. you're fun. and i like rue." she said, sitting down next to elliot and playing with her nails.

"what? do you have a crush on her or something?" elliot wondered. liv looked up right away.

"huh? no. im not..no." she said. elliot shrugged.

"but you are single." he confirmed. this time, olivia shrugged.

"even if i did like rue, which i don't, i don't think i should be in a relationship any time soon." she sighed, plopping down on the bed completely. elliot leaned on his elbows and handed the blunt back to her, which she gladly took.

"not a relationship kinda girl?" he wondered. she shrugged.

"just not ready." liv answered.

elliot continued to look down at her.

"are we ever?" he asked. olivia looked up at him, and rue and jules reentered the room.

olivia and elliot slept on the bed that night. they didn't cuddle or do anything, and were oblivious to what rue and jules were doing just a few feet away.

and too oblivious of what was yet to come.
