olivia called me a couple times, but i didn't answer. i was scared if i was being honest. i didn't know if she was mad at me or upset with herself about what happened.

i just wished she saw herself the way everyone else did. how beautiful and innocent she was. her laugh and the way she could brighten up a fucking room just by walking in.

it was clear she didn't see any of that. and, slowly but surely, she was destroying herself because of it.

so, no. i didn't answer the phone.

but bb did.

and bb made sure they would go out and get drunk to get their minds off of things. because, shit, did olivia need it.

bb had introduced olivia to her cousin tori. tori was older than the two of them, and her step brother owned the bar bb took olivia to that night.

olivia and tori got along really well. they talked about why each other where there at the bar that night; liv because of fezco and tori because of her ex girlfriend. they had their own problems, very different and very similar at the same time.

"we should start heading back soon." tori said, talking over the music someone was playing in the background. bb took another sip of her drink, dancing by herself next to liv and tori, who were sitting next to each other on stools.

"what? no way!" she said. liv and tori exchanged looks.

"you're probably right. i have shit to do tomorrow and i'm already a little too drunk than i probably should be." olivia chuckled. tori chuckled, too, but bb rolled her eyes.

"alright, fine. liv, i'll talk to you. tori, you're my ride home. good luck dragging me outta this bitch." bb hit her vape.

again, liv and tori exchanged glances. they said their goodbyes, and olivia walked out to the parking lot to her car. she had driven herself here, not wanting to rely on bb or her cousin.

once she walked outside, liv could see the ground was dark and the only light was coming from a single street light illuminating the parking lot and lights from cars driving by on a nearby highway.

olivia looked over just as she was about to open her car door when she saw jayson getting in his truck. they made eye contact, and were the only two in the parking lot.

why, of all places, did he have to be here right now?

she figured to make some use of him and it would be a good time to tell him how she felt and to get the things she was thinking about their situation off of her chest. it was a public setting, and even though there were no people present they were still inside the bar a few feet away.

plus, like she said, she was a little more drunk than she should be for her liking.

liv sighed and walked over to jay's truck. he saw her approaching him and shut his door, leaning on it.

"jackson. what're you doing here?" jayson greeted. olivia didn't smile or anything, just figured it would be best to get to the point.

"i just wanted to talk to you because i know your going through a lot right now and i don't want you to feel like i lead you on. if i'm gonna be honest with you, i was high when we hooked up and i didn't mean for it to happen. i don't want to be in a relationship with you again." she confessed, ignoring his question. she didn't know how jayson would feel, and she didn't really care.

at the end of the day, the only person that was there for olivia was olivia. even if she had to learn that the hard way, she still learned it.

she wouldn't let jayson hold her emotions back anymore.

"are you fucking serious?" jay asked, furrowing his eyebrows. olivia solemnly nodded her head. she understood this was probably hard for him to hear.

all he did was scoff.

"well, i knew you were fucking high. it was kind of obvious. but that doesn't change the way you feel. it doesn't change the way you feel about me." he shook his head. olivia's lips parted, and she took a step back.

"wait..you knew?" she asked.

"you could barely open your eyes, liv." he answered.

liv started to get a little scared. jayson knew she was high and still had sex with her. he crossed a boundary she wasn't comfortable with. even if she made the first move, she regretted it and wasn't in the right state of mind.

"look, i just came to tell you that. so i'm gonna go-" she said, slightly backing away. jayson grabbed her hand quickly.

"wait." he said. he pulled her a little closer, and because she was a little drunk, she stumbled forward.

"you can't leave me. what're the chances of us being at the same bar tonight?" he said, squeezing liv's hand a little harder.

"jayson, get your hand off of me." liv tried. jay didn't say anything, and they stared at each other. he was trying to find the right words to say, and olivia was scared of what he would do next.

"you manipulative bitch." jay scoffed again. at that, liv pulled her hand away forcefully.

"what the fuck is wrong with you?" she asked.

"you knew how much stress i was under with my brother. my dead fucking brother, olivia! you play with my fucking emotions. you get in my head!" he said, his voice getting louder. he brought one hand up to each temple and patted at his head as he talked.

olivia teared up. she saw how much pain jayson was in, and understood what he was saying. he felt like his emotions were played with, and she believed she had manipulated him.

everything he said, she understood.

"i'm sorry!" liv said, shaking her head.

"you need help. i know i'm a dick. but the way you play with people's emotions...talk to someone." he nodded. olivia sighed again, wiping her eyes. she wasn't gonna let him make her cry.

she took a few steps back and ran her hands through her hair.

"what the fuck? how did this even get about me?" she asked, almost talking to herself.

"because this is what you do. you break people down. you lead them on. your a tease." he explained, slightly bending over to make sure she heard him. she threw her hands up in the air, looking back at him again.

"well if that's how you really feel then we really shouldn't be together." liv explained. jay furrowed his eyebrows and crossed his arms over his chest.

"the fuck did you just say to me?" he asked.

just then, a girl stumbled out of the bar and walked over to jayson's truck. as she got closer, olivia recognized her immedietly, and questioned why she hadn't seen her in the bar when she was in there before.

"jaysonnn! i'm ready to go home...oh. you're olivia, right?" she asked, drunkenly.

it was the girl olivia saw in the video with fezco. the girl who was on top of him. the girl who had sex with her boyfriend.

olivia stared at her.

"jay, you have ten seconds to tell me why the fuck this bitch is at your car before i beat her fucking ass." liv mumbled at jay, starting to inch closer to the girl in front of her. liv was talking quietly, but the girl still heard what she said and laughed.

"try me, bitch." she said.

even though the girl was bigger than olivia was, that wasn't going to stop her. she swung her arm up and punched the girl in the face, pulling her hair and punching her again. she had managed to hit olivia in the stomach once, but it didn't really affect her. with the adrenaline pumping on top of how angry she was, olivia wasn't going to stop until this girl was down on the ground.

"that's why i fucked-" she tried to say, but olivia punched her again in the mouth before she could get anything else out. she grabbed the girl's face and shoved it into the windshield of a car nearby, leaning over her.

"sorry, i didn't hear you bitch! what?" liv yelled into the girls ear, watching her struggle. she picked up her head again by the hair and slammed her face in the car a few more times before jayson was finally able to get a good grip on olivia and pull her off.

the girl fell down and crawled away, blood everywhere. she looked back at olivia in fear before disappearing off back into the bar, trying to find someone to help.

"that's why you ran away because you're a fucking pussy ass bitch! come back out here you fat fucking cunt!" liv yelled towards the girl, jayson holding her arms back. once the girl was out of sight, olivia realized jayson was holding her. she pulled away from him immedietly.

"who the fuck is she?" liv yelled, pushing jayson. he grabbed her arms again forcefully and slammed her body up against the side of his truck.

"you're not gonna fucking push me. alright?" he asked, muttering in her ear. he didn't move his hands away from her upper arms. olivia didn't answer, but squeezed her eyes shut and hoped, prayed jayson would back away.

"alright?" he yelled in her face, squeezing her arms even tighter. olivia whimpered and started to cry, feeling vulnerable under jayson's grasp. when olivia continued to not say anything but lightly cried instead, jay figured she got the point.

"i know that girl. i came here to pick her up. we've been fucking. i sent her to fezco's that night. i told her to let him dick her down and to record everything." he said, still in olivia's face.

instead of waiting for olivia to respond, he brought his right hand away from her arm and to her face, squeezing her cheeks and forcing olivia to look at him.

thunder boomed, and rain suddenly picked up and fell hard onto the two. jayson was so frustrated, he didn't care.

"i don't give a fuck what you think or have to say, alright?" he went on. olivia nodded.

"okay. okay." she panted.

jay finally let go. he was holding onto her so forcefully, olivia fell down on the floor and scraped her knee on the ground.

her hair was wet and sticking to her face from the rain. jay scoffed and stepped over her, heading into the bar.

there he left her, in the street to limp to her car. once she finally did, she climbed in carefully and inspected her knee, face and arms. she looked over at the broken windshield from pounding the girls face into it.

then, she looked over at jaysons truck.

she questioned whether her face was wet from the rain or her tears.

i really regret not picking up the fucking phone.
