You and hawks were on a mission

"So we have to save a hostage?" You said teleporting building from building

"Yep that shouldn't be to hard right?" Hawks said flying

2 hours later you guys arrived

It was a abandoned place it looked like if you touched anything the building would collapse

You and hawks searched the place but couldn't find the hostage

"Weird they should have been here" you said on guard

"I'm not sure why they are not" hawks said then you guys went to a abandon part of the city and heard a girl scream you two immediately ran towards the scream

You were about to get shot but hawks jumped in the way "idiot! I could have teleported!" You yelled at him he was still able to fight thought he only got shot in the shoulder

While you guys were fighting you heard a thud and saw hawks fall that immediately made you mad since you were protective over the people you care about

You glared at all of them and in a split second you knocked out 45 people they were injured badly most of them had broken legs or arms you looked at the person who hurt hawks and broke their ribs, left arm, and right leg after you finished you looked for the hostage and teleport hawks to the hospital and the hostage to their family

After telling the family the situation you immediately went to the hospital "where is his room?" You asked the nurse quickly

"Go left then right and go left left right then you will find his room" you nurse said you teleported their and tried to go into the room but the doctors and nurses had to hold you back since the injuries were really deep and severe

You sat on the chair outside his room crying

The doctors told you to leave since visiting hours were over you asked them how long it would take for him to heal and they weren't sure

It has been 2 weeks since you ate a proper meal you were starving but you didn't care your mind was only about hawks

You had separating anxiety so if you thought somebody left you, you would immediately start breaking down

It's been 2 weeks still and 3 days you were on the couch crying when you didn't even notice the door opened hawks was in front of you

"Hey you ok?" He asked with bandages around his chest, legs, and arms you looked at him with puffy red baggy eyes then you hugged him "I thought I was going to lose you or something don't be so reckless!" You said and he laughs patting your head "well I'm still alive so it's ok"
You let go then he looked at you "you should eat something I ordered some chicken with bbc sauce" he said then you nodded and cleaned yourself up

You came out in a hoodie and short pants like usual you opened the door and payed the guy then put the food on the table hawks sat next to you and ate with you

"Why were you crying over me? You knew I was going to be ok anyway" he said

"Hm? Oh I have separation anxiety so when I feel like somebody dear to me will leave me I break down" you said while eating the chicken it's been so long since you had a proper meal you enjoyed it

"You should have told me that in the first place but I'm never going to leave you" he said reassuring you

"Oh I know" you responded

"Are we best friends now?" He asked then you thought about it and nodded

Half the night you guys were eating and talking about randomly stupid stuff
