︎☞︎ first day of Izuku's internship☜︎

"H-hey wait up!" Izuku yelled, just as Hawks jumped out of his office window, swiftly followed by the greenete.

Izuku scanned the sky for any sight of the pro and saw a slight tip of a red feather poking out from the clouds above him. Hawks had considerably bigger wings than Izuku so he wasn't made for speed as much as the teen was; so he used stealth more to his advantage.

Izuku grinned and accepted the challenge. He knew he was able to fly much faster than hawks, it was just a case of finding him.

The greenete propelled himself into the clouds above him and didn't see any sight of hawks. He hummed a little and perched himself on a nearby skyscraper which was above everything else.

Making himself as small as possible he scanned the surroundings for any movement of the pro hero. Suddenly Hawks fully emerged from behind a building, possibly confused as to where Izuku went.

Izuku silently praised himself for the successful plan and tackled Hawks mid air in a split second "got y'a!" Izuku yelled gleefully, gripping onto Hawks' back so he couldn't get away.

Hawks laughed away his flustered state, and flapped his wings a little so Izuku let go "well done kid, you outsmarted me"

"Wanna go get some chicken?" Hawks asked, struggling to stay still in the air while Izuku was finding it easy.

"Huh? Aren't we supposed to be doing training?" Izuku asked dumbfounded, inching closer to hawks in order to conserve some warmth.

Hawks fluffed his wings and shrugged, smirking as he pointed towards a restaurant below them "chicken cures the soul"

With that the pro tucked in his wings and went into a nose dive towards the floor; followed by Izuku doing the exact same but being much faster.

The greenete reached the floor first, scaring a few civilians as he hit the ground out of nowhere "hey no fair, your faster" hawks pouted, landing next to the teen and slinging an arm over him.

"Heh... sorry" Izuku chuckled, rubbing the nape of his neck as the two walked into the restaurant.

"I'll have the usual x2" hawks asked the worker, she immediately recognised him from the many visits and swiftly readied his meal. To be honest, anyone would remember the order if the No.3 hero was the one that asked for it.

"Here you go sir" the woman smiled shyly, handing the pro his food "thanks, see you next time" hawks replied with a wink, making the worker so flustered she forgot to ask for the money.

"U-uhhh here you go miss" Izuku panicked, quickly handing the lady his own money before following hawks out the door.

"Cummon kid, I've got the perfect place" hawks grinned, taking of into the sky.

Izuku sighed momentarily "what have I gotten myself into" he wondered out loud while catching up to him in no time.

"H-hey where are we going?!" Izuku yelled, flying in front of hawks so he could talk to him face to face "just follow along kid" hawks replied with a smile and started to decend to the floor.

The two landed in a beautiful lavender filled meadow in the outskirts of the more rural areas of Japan. The field bustled with the noises of insects and the occasional bunny hidden in the grass. The sun only made the vibrant colours look more euphoric under its golden rays.

Izuku's eyes shining with amazement as he ran his hand through the tall grass, his feathers bustling with excitement at the stunning area.

"Like it?" Hawks asked pleased with himself, a smug smile washing over his features "mhm! It's so beautiful!" Izuku beamed, plopping himself down in the middle of the field.

Hawks hummed and placed the food next to the greenete while he picked up a little daisy that stood out amongst the lavender "here, it suits you"

The pro hero tucked the flower behind Izuku's ear, swishing his forest green hair away from his eyes a little "u-um thank you!" The teen yelled in embarrassment, hiding his flushed face with his arms.

Hawks grinned gleefully and clasped his hands together, sitting next to Izuku in the grass "well then let's dig in!" He beamed, giving Izuku his own selection of chicken wings.

"Mmm it's really good... Keigo" Izuku complimented, scoffing the food rather quickly. Hawks grinned when Izuku said his real name, for some reason it filled him with a strange warm happiness which he hadn't experienced before.

"I'm glad"

Izuku and Keigo spend nearly the whole day laying down and talking. Not once had they experienced a dull moment when talking, the conversation just seemed to flow so perfectly.

They talked about how they grew up; Izuku waffled about Katsuki for some time also, resulting in hawks becoming a little spiteful towards their intimate relationship.

Hawks then talked about his upbringing in the hero agency and how he wasn't really allowed to use the name Keigo any longer.

By the end of it, Izuku sympathised with Hawks and they knew each other a lot better.

"Oh and I was on a mission once and there was thi-" hawks stopped himself talking when he heard gentle snores coming from his side.

He turned his head to see Izuku peacefully sleeping with his wings wrapped around his body. He shivered occasionally in the now crisp air, his hair gently swaying in the breeze.

"He did say something about his quirk making him cold.." hawks wondered with a smile, wrapping his large wing around Izuku.

The hero blushed a little at the sight of him snuggled in his own feathers. Izuku did indeed look adorable.

"I'll take you back to the dorms" he whispered, gently lifting Izuku in bridal style.

Hawks landed outside of the 1-A dorms. It was around 10 pm and the class were currently watching a movie in the common room.

Hawks entered the building still with Izuku wrapped in his wing asleep "oh hey" hawks greeted the sleepy teens, walking up to the very much confused class.

"Hawks? What're you doing here?" Tokoyami asked concerned, what if something happened to Izuku?

"OI! Bird man, deku was interning with you and he hasn't picked up his phone so where is he?!" Katsuki yelled angered, hopping from his seated position and letting of mini explosions as he neared the pro.

Once he got close enough, Hawks reached out his hand and placed his pointer finger on Katsuki's lips "shut it Pomeranian"

Bakugou almost blew a fuse before he suddenly stopped when hawks moved his wing to the side, showing Izuku's gentle sleeping figure.

"Give him here, I'll take him to bed" Katsuki hissed, this time a little quieter though. Hawks recoiled and shook his head "nope, tell me his dorm and I'll take him" hawks argued, wrapping his wing back around Izuku to prevent the blonde from taking him.

"No way in hell am I letting you touch my deku!" He whisper shouted, causing a few of his classmates to sigh at the two's pitiful argument.

"You know what, give him here" kaminari voiced, marching over to the two and snatching the still slumbering boy from hawks' grip.

The electric user stomped oof to Izuku's room with a sigh 'their acting like literal toddlers'
