"Mom, Dad, I have to tell you something," my brother, Jaehyun, said as we were eating dinner.

"What did you do?" my father asked ironically.

Jaehyun grinned. "I uhm... I've got a girlfriend," he told us.

"You? Girlfriend? That poor girl," I chuckled. He glared at me.

"That's great news," my mother said, "I'm proud of you."

"What is her name?" my father said.

"Kim Yoohyeon."

"How did you get her to fall in love with you?" I asked while chewing on a piece of chicken.

"She is in my dancing course." My brother smiled. "And she is great!"

"Congrats." My mother padded his shoulder.

"Can I bring her to dinner tomorrow?" Jaehyun asked.

"Sure! I would love to meet her," father explained.

"Me too." My mother looked at him proudly.

"I don't have a problem with it either," I added.

"I would've never thought he'd get a girlfriend this soon," I told Siyeon while we walked upstairs.

"I guess that's how it is," she just replied.

"Yeah, probably."

As we entered my room, I sat down on the bed and removed my phone from my pocket. Siyeon sat down on the armchair next to my bookshelf.

I saw that I got a message from Seungjoon.

I sighed and put my phone beside me. I looked at Siyeon. She was reading her book.

"I'm bored," I pouted.

"Okay." She didn't even look up.

"How mean." I crossed my legs. "I want to cuddle."

"Great."

"Can I cuddle you?"

Siyeon sighed. She put her bookmark in the book and stood up, walking towards the bed and sitting next to me.

"Yay," I made, hugging her from the side. I put my head on her shoulder.

"Hey, you asked me to find something for you to cover up when you're outside," I said to Siyeon.

"And?"

"Why don't you just take a mask?" I turned my phone to show her what I was looking for.

"That's a great idea," she replied.

"Then I will buy it."

"Okay."

"How do you feel about meeting Jaehyun's girlfriend today?" I asked after doing so.

Siyeon shrugged her shoulders. "We will see."

"I am actually excited to see who fell for my brother," I chuckled. "Must be a dumb girl."

"Why? Is he a bad guy?" She looked at me with wide eyes.

"No. He is actually very kind. But he's a dumbass sometimes."

"If you say so."

"How will we do it with school? You can't go there," I changed the theme.

"I don't know..."

"I can teach you the things at home," I offered.

"Sure, why not..."

"Dinner is ready!" my mother shouted.

"Let's go!" I jumped off the bed and made my way downstairs. Siyeon followed me.

"I hope she's nice," I said more to myself than to anyone else.

When we arrived, my brother was already there, holding hands with a black haired girl. They were standing with the back towards us so I couldn't see her face.

The girl bowed in front of my parents.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, Mr and Mrs Kim," she just said.

"We can just give that back," my mother replied, smiling.

My father saw us. "Why don't you say hello to my daughter and her friend?"

The black haired girl turned around and smiled when she saw us. I could defenitly tell why my brother fell in love with her. She was really pretty.

"Hi," she said, bowing. "I'm Kim Yoohyeon. And you?"

"Minji," I replied, also smiling. "Nice to meet you." I bowed my head.

"Same goes for me," Yoohyeon said. "And you?" She looked at Siyeon.

"Siyeon," the third girl simply replied. Yoohyeon was looking at her for a few seconds and then made a face like they knew each other.

"Let's go eat then," my father said. "I'm starving."

Everyone entered the dining room and sat down on the table while I helped my mother to bring the food.

"So, Yoohyeon," my father began when everybody had food on their plates. "What do your parents do for a living?"

"My father owns a big company. He is earning much money," Yoohyeon said. "My mother died at my brother's birth."

Jeahyun looked at me with a telling look. That's exactly what happened to our mother, it seemed to say.

"That's sad."

"I never got to know her so I don't know if I should be sad," the black haired girl explained.

"And your father wants you to take over the company, am I right?" my dad asked further.

"Sadly, yes. But I don't think that's what I want," Yoohyeon said.

"What do you want then?" I asked, actually being interested.

The other girl smiled at me. "I love photography... But my father said that it should stay a hobby." She sounded sad. "I also enjoy singing and dancing."

"That's great," my mother said. "And are you good at it?"

"She's really good! You should see her dance!"

I chuckled when my brother said that. Yoohyeon smiled widely.

"I sometimes cover songs and put them on YouTube."

So it's THAT Yoohyeon, I thought.

"Oh, really? Why don't you show us some of your videos one time?" My mother seemed proud.

"You can watch them yourself too..." Yoohyeon said shyly.

"Why did you never tell me that?" my brother asked her.

"Well..." His girlfriend blushed slightly. "I feel kinda shy about it..."

"One of my friends told me that he watched all of your videos," I threw in.

"Is t-that so?" She looked down at her plate.

"Yes! He said that he really loves your voice."

"Did you get professional training?" my father asked.

"No. It was never one of my dad's priorities."

"I was a vocal teacher when I was younger," my mom said.

"Really?" Jaehyun asked, surprised. "Why did you never tell us that?"

"I knew it," I said. "You clearly don't know your mother," I added ironically.

"Can she stay over night?" my brother asked hopefully.

"Isn't it school tomorrow?"

Jaehyun sighed. "Worth a shot."

Yoohyeon chuckled.

"Let's finish eating. We can talk after that," my father said.

So we continued eating in silence. After everyone was finished, I helped my mother bring the stuff outside in the kitchen.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"I'll go to the bathroom..." Siyeon said, standing up and leaving the room.

I looked after her worriedly. I hope she doesn't do anything stupid, I thought.

I saw that Yoohyeon was looking too. "I hope it isn't my fault," she said, looking at me.

I shook my head. "She probably just needs to go to the toilet," I replied.

"Okay..."

We moved from the dining room into the living room and talked a bit.

After a few minutes I realised that Siyeon hadn't returned so I stood up and walked to the bathroom.

I knocked on the door. "Siyeon?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"Why shouldn't I?"

"You've been in there for a few minutes."

"Can't I go to the toilet?"

"But you-" The door opened and interrupted me.

Siyeon took my wrist and pulled me into the bathroom before closing the door again.

"What are you doing?"

"I know her," she said without considering my question.

"You know her?" I asked, not getting it.

"Yes. And she wasn't exactly nice to me..."

"What did she do?"

"She was in my old school," Siyeon told me. "Somehow she just didn't like me. I never did anything."

"Yoohyeon bullied you?"

"No... She just made fun of me very often."

I stayed silent. "So you feel uncomfortable with her or what?"

Siyeon nodded.

"Well... Don't you think she changed by now?"

"I bet she did. But I still don't feel good around her."

"To me she actually seemed nice... Why don't we just go back and see how she behaves?"

"Okay..."

I left the bathroom and Siyeon followed me. When we entered the living room, everybody looked at us.

"What was up?" Yoohyeon asked.

"I didn't feel good," Siyeon said. "But it's better now."

"That's good," the other girl replied with a small smile.

I gave Siyeon a telling look. I walked towards the couch and sat beside my mother. Siyeon took a seat on an armchair next to the table.

We continued talking about half an hour before Yoohyeon stood up and said: "I think it's time to go now."

I looked at the clock and realised it was almost nine.

My parents got up too. "It was really nice to meet you," my mother said with a big smile.

"I can just give it back." Yoohyeon bowed her head and then turned towards me. "It was nice to meet you, too."

"Same goes for me," I replied with a smile.

Yoohyeon looked at Siyeon. "I didn't expect to see you again, actually."

"Me neither," the other girl just replied, not looking at her.

"Well... I hope we can clear things in the future," the black haired girl said with a smile.

When Siyeon didn't reply, she turned towards my parents again. "Then I will go now."

"You can come here anytime again, if you want, of course," my father said.

"I would love to!" Yoohyeon looked at Jaehyun. "If he wants to bring me again, I mean." She chuckled.

My brother stood up. "Anytime." He took her hand and escorted her to the door. After one or two minutes he returned.

"You picked a lovely girl, I like her," my mother said.

"Thanks. I told you I have a good taste."

"Yeah, but she doesn't," I said, jokingly.

Jaehyun glared at me. "Your boyfriend doesn't, either."

"Would you be happier if he chose you?"

He made a disturbed face. "No!"

I laughed. "Well, he is free now. You can ask him anytime."

"No, thanks."

"What do you mean with that?" my mother asked.

"I broke up with him, that's what I mean."

"Why? Did he do anything?"

I sighed. "No. I just don't love him anymore, that's it."

"That's sad. I actually liked him."

"That's life," my father threw in. "Sometimes you just loose interest in someone."

"Yeah."

"I'm tired," Siyeon said, standing up.

"Okay, I'll come right after," I said, smiling.

Siyeon left the room.

"There is something important I need to tell you," I told my parents and my brother. "It's serious."

"We are all ears," my father said.

"The police was here today."

My mother gasped. "Why?"

"They are searching for Siyeon. I bet her father made the report. She can't go to school for now so please don't talk about that with her," I explained. "She will stay home. I just wanted you to know that."

With that I stood up. "And please, if ever someone asks you if you know her, act like you don't. I don't want her to go back to her father."

"Okay..." my mother said.

"Please take it seriously. Good Night." I left the living room and sighed. I just hoped they would understand.

I made my way upstairs and after a quick stop at the bathroom I entered my room. Siyeon was sitting on the bed with her legs crossed.

"What should I do tomorrow?" she asked right away.

"I told my parents that you will stay home. So feel free to do anything. My dad is at work anyway," I answered.

"Okay..."

"Let's go to sleep," I said, crawling on the bed and placing myself under the sheets. Siyeon did the same.

"You can sleep longer tomorrow if you want. You don't have to get up early," I said.

"Alright."

"Good Night then." I turned off the lights.

"Good Night..."
