I was laying on the bed next to Siyeon. She was originally sitting beside me but now decided to lay down too. She put her hands under her head. I rested mine on my stomach.

"You know what?" she broke the silence.

I turned my head towards her. "What is it?"

"I actually had a friend," she said, smiling. "Back in my last school."

"Oh, really? What's their name?" I turned to lay on the side, resting on my elbow.

"Handong..." she replied. "Sometimes I really miss her, you know? She was my only friend in my class and the whole school, just like you. I want to meet her again so bad, but that's not possible."

I smiled. "Losing friends is the worst thing when you move away, isn't it?"

Siyeon nodded with a sad look on her face. "And the second worst thing is, that you don't know anything or anyone in your new home. You don't know if the people are nice or rude. I think for me that was the worst when I moved away from Daegu."

"I only moved once. And to be honest, my hometown was much worse than Seoul, so I didn't have any doubt. Plus, I was only seven when we moved here. From what I've heard what happened in Daejeon the last few years, I'm happy we moved here."

"I figured that you were from Daejeon." She grinned at me.

"How?"

"Your dialect."

"I think that kind of exposed me, right?" I laughed.

"You speak from your hometown as if it was North Korea."

"Do I?"

"Well, what you said sounded like you didn't really enjoy living there."

"Living there wasn't a big problem. Daejeon is a beautiful city and the people there are okay too. But every week a new crime happened. My parents didn't want us to grow up at this kind of city. So we moved here."

"Your real parents?"

"What do you mean by that?" I said, confused. "Are there unreal parents?"

"No, I don't think so. But I mean like... Your biological parents?"

"Oh, that?" I made a face.

"No, I don't know my biological parents. So they couldn't move here with us, right?" I chuckled.

"Would be weird."

I rolled back on my back again.

"The only thing I know is that my biological mother passed away shortly after my brother's birth and my biological father couldn't handle two kids alone. So he put us on adoption after two months. I was only a year old back then."

A thought built up in my head as we stayed silent.

"Was Yoohyeon in your class too?" I suddenly asked.

"Yes... Why?"

I smiled. "Just because." That information would make it a lot easier.

"Okay."

Siyeon sat up on the bed again and stood up.

"Where are you going?"

"Toilet."

"Alright. But don't fall inside," I joked.

She glared at me and left me smiling on the bed.

When she was gone, I sat up too and grabbed my phone which I threw beside me before. I texted Yoohyeon.

Yootoni ๐Ÿถ

Hey you there

I see that you're online
[4:22pm]

Text back ๐Ÿ˜’
[4:23pm]

I'm sorry

[4:25pm]

she was still there.
[4:26pm]

Okay

[4:26pm]

You're welcome :3

What do you need that for?
[4:26pm]

Well

I'm planning on something but I'm
not sure if that will work.

[4:27pm]

Is it a surprise?
[4:27pm]

As I said, idk if this will work

But if it does

Yeah, I think that's a surprise then

If you don't tell her ;)
[4:28pm]

Wouldn't end good for who?
[4:29pm]

For you and for me

Because I'd kill you

And then I'm sad bc you're dead

And I have to go to prison

So I would defenitly not be happy
[4:29pm]

Lol

You look like you couldn't hurt a
fly and then speak from killing me?
[4:30pm]

I can do much more than killing
you ( อกยฐ อœส– อกยฐ)
[4:30pm]

I put my phone away.

In the meantime Siyeon had re-entered the room and sat down on the bed.

"Who were you texting with?" she asked.

"Yoohyeon. We were talking about that singing thing," I replied, telling only half of the truth. "Are you sure you don't want to join?"

She nodded her head.

"Have you tried singing?"

"When should I have?"

"Oh. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Not your fault though."

"I think your voice would be perfect for singing."

"Could be..."

"Sad that you don't want to try it. But I can't force you, I guess."

I laid down on my stomach.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked.

"I still need my own clothes," Siyeon responded.

"That's right... If you don't want to go outside, we could buy them online," I suggested. "Is that okay for you?"

She nodded.

"I will ask my mom later. Then we can do it on the computer."

"Alright."

"And now?"

"I don't know."

"I still need my revenge for that game."

Siyeon chuckled. "What game?"

"You were the first person who won against me. I can't leave it like that."

"I don't feel like it," Siyeon said.

"Hm. That's bad."

"Yeah."

My phone buzzed. I got a message from Yoohyeon: I talked with my father abt the singing thing ๐Ÿ˜‹.

"Wait a second. I got a message," I said to Siyeon.

"Sure..."

Yoohtoni ๐Ÿถ

I talked with my father abt the
singing thing ๐Ÿ˜‹
[4:40pm]

What did he say?
[4:41pm]

He has no problem with it.

"As long as she doesn't sound like
a cat in the toaster, it's okay"

That's what he said ๐Ÿ˜‚
[4:41pm]

Lmao

I think I have my voice under control ๐Ÿ˜‚
[4:41pm]

Thats good

Otherwise you'd be thrown out
faster than you can say "I believe
I can fly"
[4:42pm]

Lol
[4:42pm]

When do you have time?

I have time everyday except for Tuesday
and Thursday when I have my dance
lessons
[4:43pm]

I don't do anything like that

So I'm free everyday ๐Ÿ˜
[4:43pm]

๐Ÿ˜‰

What are your favourite songs?

So that I can prepare to sing for u
[4:44pm]

Just sing what you want

I mean

That sounds like I don't care

I'm sorry

I mean: Sing what you want bc
it will be good anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰
[4:44pm]

Okay ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Then imma sing what I want :)
[4:45pm]

Great :)
[4:45pm]

Tomorrow then?

It's Saturday
[4:46pm]

I think that will be okay
[4:46pm]

Okayyy

I'll pick you up then

Well

I'm not gonna drive myself

I think that would be fatal

I'm more the clumsy kind of person yk

So me in the street wouldn't be good
[4:47pm]

Yea

I don't think it's healthy to be in the
street
[4:47pm]

Yeah

Many people will die

Anyways

When should I pick you up?
[4:48pm]

About noon should be okay

If its for you ;)
[4:48pm]

Alrightt

See you then :)
[4:49pm]

"Yoohyeon said she could pick me up by noon tomorrow. You know, because of that singing thing," I said while we were eating dinner.

"That's good. We don't have something planned, so this will be okay, right, darling?" my mom asked her husband. He just nodded.

"Thanks."

"I don't like the sound of you two alone together," Jaehyun complained.

"Why? Can't I spend time with my friends?"

"I already talked about that with Yoohyeon. I don't like the vibes around you two."

I tilted my head.

"Oh, you don't get it too? Why are you girls so stupid?"

"Jaehyun!" my mother said in a warning tone.

"Huh, what did i do?" I asked.

"She's my girlfriend! You're not going to steal her from me!"

"Why should I steal her from you? She is my friend, not more. I'm sorry that I want to spend time with my friends. But it's kinda your own fault. You didn't have to bring her here though," I argued and continued eating.

"Fuck off," my brother hissed.

My father slammed his fist on the table. "Enough! Jaehyun, I don't want you to talk like that to your sister!"

"Why? She is on the best way to steal my girlfriend, and you don't yell at her? She's a fucking lesbian, don't you see that?" Jaehyun yelled and jumped up.

I just wanted to say something when I was interrupted by Siyeon.

"And what's the problem there? Is it bad to like girls when you're a girl?" she said, not even looking up but at the table.

"It's disgusting! Homos should be thrown into prison like it is in Turkey!"

"Hey! That's really enough now! Jaehyun, sit down or leave this room when you can't live with the fact Minji will go to Yoohyeon tomorrow! She never did anything and you have to accept the fact that she is friends with your girlfriend! Stop yelling at her for nothing!" my mother yelled.

"What? What did I do wrong now? Are you supporting her or what?"

"I don't care if my daughter likes guys or girls or nothing as long she's happy. And now it's too late. You can't reverse time and decide not to bring Yoohyeon here."

Jaehyun laughed. "She isn't your daughter."

"Jaehyun!" I exclaimed, also jumping up. "Stop it now!"

"Don't tell me anything, you fucking homo!"

"Hey!" Siyeon raised her voice. "Don't call her that!"

"Why? Isn't it the truth?"

"Say that to me, not her. If you call her like that once again, you will have my fist in your face."

"Oh, now I'm scared. And why should I call you that when obviously Minji is the Homo here?", Jaehyun said.

"Yeah, why should you call me that, huh? Maybe because it's true?"

"Oh, you too now? What's up with you girls, really! People will die out because of you!"

I laughed. "I think there are enough girls left. But when I see you, I think it would be better if people die out."

"Minji!" my mother hissed.

"We live in the 21st century and you act like we're in the time of knights, Kings and what more!" I continued.

"I wish we were," he replied. "Everything was good back then and now it became a trend that y'all are gay!"

"Just stop it," I said, clenching my fists.

"Oh, so you aren't denying it?"

"No, because you're gonna laugh at me and tell me I'm a liar. So what for?"

"Alright then. I'll just break up with her then you have all the freedom you want," Jaehyun said and left the room.

I rested my head in my hands and sighed.

"I never thought that he would react like that. I'm going to a friend for singing. What's the problem?"

"Minji?" my dad asked and I looked up.

"What?"

"Is it true what he said? Do you... Like Yoohyeon?"

"Yes, I like her! But as a friend! Just because I wanna learn singing with her doesn't mean I love her or something! Why don't y'all see that?"

"Okay, let's leave this topic for now. Is everyone finished?" my mother said.
