As of May of 2018, rookie idol, Hyunjin of Stray Kids is rumoured to be dating idol sensation, Mayse of NCT!

Everything begun after both were seen in Hongdae with mysterious figures that the public kcitizens were unable to identify who each singer were with that day. After further investigating, fans began to believe the two were there together on a supposedly date. Fans became engrossed in the rumours and decided to rip every video and photo for any piece of evidence of the two having any romantic feelings to one another.

Fans were then granted their wishes of a official statement regarding the two singers' dating rumours. Earlier this morning, both, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment released an official statement regarding the rumours of Hyunjin and Mayse.

SM states: "We tried to ignore these sort of scandals because it was difficult to find a time for Mayse to sit down and talk [to us] fully without any [major] events in her schedule interrupting. After consulting her words and explanations, we are happy to announce the rumours are true. Mayse has expressed her romantic attraction to Hyunjin and explained the reason as to why they kept quiet about their relationship from the public. We hope fans love the two just as much as the rest of the company does and support their relationship, thank you. "

JYP states: "Hello this is JYP speaking, Hyunjin is currently under a dating ban of three years however after consulting with him in a private manner away, we are happy to accept his relationship with Mayse. He has expressed in various ways his attraction to the female and it feels wrong for us as a company to rip his happiness away from him. We hope fans of Hyunjin understand his feelings and support him and his relationship, thank you."

To further publicise their relationship, Mayse took to her personal instagram account ( @maysesonxo ) to announce the relationship to her fans nationwide.

Fans also claim to have seen the two at Show! Music Core during Stray Kids' Get Cool promotions, on the stairs sharing an adorable hug. Hyunjin was also spotted kissing Mayse's cheek before they separate away.
