Recently Mayse stated on her SNS account where her usual manager: Kim Si Hyun was during these time of events, stating: "Sihyun unnie is leaving me ㅠㅠ have fun on your anniversary trip~".

The 18-year-old idol attended a festival where she performed her song: Siren. The young idol performed in 12-inch heels, whilst dancing in the rain. During the chorus of the song, the young idol fell and smashed her head against the stage. Fans were worried about her, however, Mayse continued to perform with a smile despite bleeding from the head.

Fans were shocked due to the fact that her temporary manager; Kim Jae In, didn't call the performance off after the first fall.

Mayse continues to fall within the performance less than five times. After the performance, Mayse was seen falling into Stray Kids' Hyunjin arms, unconscious. NCTzens worries for her wellbeing and grew red in anger when they saw Sihyun's temporary replacement smirking in victory at the idol.

Mayse was taken to the hospital and SM released a statement once she was released from the hospital. The company states: "Kim Jaein will be sued for mistreatment of our artist and verbal abuse. She is currently in police custody. In Mayse's case, she will be postponing her schedules with 127 and their Simon Says promotions. She will instead focus on recovering from her injuries. Thank you to the fans for understanding and sending Mayse many get well soon wishes."
