Gally's homeless now 😍😍😍

"Hey." Thomas greeted me as I walked over to the table he sat at, next to Newt. Chuck's eyes lit up when he saw me, welcoming me over.

"Hey sit over here!" The curly haired boy patted the seat next to him. For him I obliged, my throat starting to feel ghost hands squeezing on it. Newt knew what happened. I could tell by the way he crossed his arms, his stare sharpened by that wise glint.

Thomas's head hung at a slight lull, unable to maintain eye contact with me as he fidgeted. It was clear what they had been doing before I came over. They weren't the only gladers here that could pick up clues. As small as they were.

"Talking about me?" I asked with a carefree nonchalance. The three boys's eyes widened, Chuck turning a sheepish red.

"I wasn't!" He exclaimed, attempting to separate himself from the other boys.

"Oh come on Chuck!" Newt scolded, shooting him a piercing look.

"Sorry!" Chuck's shoulders folded like a deck of cards, sinking with the the rest of his body. "We were just worried about you."

"I'm fine."

"You were hanging out with Victor." Newt raised a brow at me, his forehead wrinkled in over the top concern. "You're lucky we're not taking your shank self off to the bloody medjacks."

"You worry too much." I retorted, placing my hands together in a tidy clump.

"God, just because you and Gally got into a fight doesn't mean you get to be self destructive!"

"What?!" He was crazy! "What are you even saying?! You don't even like Gally!"

"I'd rather Gally then that orange slinthead!"

"He's not that bad. Just get past the sleaze ball side of him and he's-"

"I know about the kiss." That sure shut me up. Newt had all of my attention now. A storm of heat flushed my face.

"I don't know what you're-"

"He told me." Newt hands lay flat on the table, his lips pressed tightly together. "We work in the gardens together. I was going to find out eventually."

Speechless. I couldn't speak. I don't know what I'd even say...Why oh why did Zart tell him?

"So what?" I blurted. "What? Are you on Gally's side? What is it?"

"No! I-"

"Because last time I checked it's none of your business!" With that I tore away from my seat. Adjusting my clothes I gave a nod to Thomas. "I'll see you at lunch Greenie, have a good day in the gardens. I'm sure Newt will tell you everything about me."

I shot my friend a look that could kill before turning around in one swift motion. Stalking off however, I failed to see a much too familiar tall boy sidling up next to me.

"I told you to stay away from me!" I spat, rushing for the treehouse. Hoping I could slip in and somehow lock it behind me. Lock everyone away. Most importantly him.

"I just wanna talk to you."

"No thanks, I think I've heard enough." He continued his pursuit beside me.

"Where's your necklace?" He noticed it. My collarbones were no longer wrapped in that delicate little chain. The charm no longer swinging around my neck.

"Lost it." My teeth gritted together as he kept following me.

"Bull." He shot back. "What'd you really do with it?"

"Lost. It." I snapped, ready for another fight. Anger bubbling, festering under my skin.

"I made that for you!"

"And I lost it." My eyes rolled, agitated at the redundancy of his verbatim. "Sorry." I said flatly. "Whores don't wear jewelry. Go away."

"I was a jerk I get it, but can you stop punishing me already?!"

"I'm not punishing you." Lie.

"Come on y/n you're mine. When are you gonna get over it? Everyone thinks we broke up."

"We were never together." I said with a special iciness. "I was never yours in the first place."

"You kissed me. You-"

"The words 'will you be my girlfriend y/n?' Never left your mouth. I didn't belong to you then and I still don't now."

Silence.

"We were, we...God why are you so fucking confusing y/n?! I said I was sorry!" Ignoring him, I increased my pace.

"Oh! Hey-" Gally had locked his hand around my wrist, keeping me in place. More like keeping me prisoner. He whipped me around, forcing me to look at him. "Get off of me!" I struggled and his grip only tightened. "Get. Away!"

"Shut up and just listen!" He shouted. Silence. The only sounds that could be heard was his heavy breathing. "I wanted-" Then I kicked him in the shin. "Fuck!" His hand disappeared, clutching his leg.

Without a second look I darted up the ladder. With a quick step on the wooden platform I slammed the treehouse door behind me. Propping a few boxes up pathetically I figured it would be enough to keep Gally out. Not really. I knew exactly what I was going to do.

I found it. All of it. Gally's stuff.

Propping myself on the window ledge I gathered as much cloth as I could in my arms. Picking the first article up. A pair of underwear. Princess Gally was still etched on the tag.

"Y/n, what the hell are you doing?!" He yelled from the ground. I threw it. Then another piece of clothing. And another. Tossing a whole bundle out at once. The shirts and pants mixing and fluttering onto the grass. Wiping my hands of the crime I gave him a dull stare. "Why?! What the fuck man, that's my stuff!"

"Find somewhere else to sleep." I drawled.

"I made that treehouse!"

"For me!" I yelled, closing the curtain on him. He did not seem happy. Good. It'll keep him away. And it did. I spent the next couple of hours holed up there away from him.

Until I heard the shouting.
