Alby gets his covid shot‼️‼️‼️ Yasss vaccine king πŸ‘‘

Thomas, Teresa, Newt, and I stood in the hallway I'd almost been choked to death in. Alby, my failed murderer, laid in the inside of the room we crowned. He had been under the watch of Clint and Jeff for the past few hours.

When Thomas had come to me with the vials that Teresa had been sent up with I knew that Clint and Jeff would never allow treatment until Newt approved so here's we were. Waiting as Newt thumbed around the injection tube.

"So you want to inject blue raspberry piss liquid into Alby?" I asked, looking sideways at Newt's furrowed brows and crossed arms at attention. "Yeah, sounds cool to me. Do it."

"Y/n!" The our leader in place scolded, curling his face in scorn. "Get a grip." I narrowed my eyes, rolling them to the back of my brain. "We don't even know what this stuff is." He turned to Teresa. "We don't know who sent it or why it came up here with you. I mean for all we know this thing could kill him."

"Hey news flash Newt, pretty sure he's already dying. Let the smurf cum do it's magic." I reasoned, twisting my hand on the med room'sΒ  knob. "Do I need to remind you what he looks like?" The door swung open, revealing a not so good Alby.

He was restrained on the bed, tied by his wrists, arms, and ankles. Veins poking against his skin, a nasty dark purple. The regular tough guy demeanor he presented was gone. The few crumbles of a human being remained. Time had only made things worse since he'd gotten stung. A thick layer of sweat coated on him as he wheezed.

"Come on it's worth a try." Thomas added. Newt's eyes held a special sort of pain as Alby writhed and gasped. The blue shit was our only hope.

"Alright." Newt relented, giving us the go ahead to surround Alby. "Do it." He handed back the vial to Thomas. A semi circle was formed around Alby as Thomas decided to play doctor. He readied the injection over Alby's muscled chest, propping himself on the bed.

"Okay." Thomas nodded, lowering the needle down. I looked away, bracing myself for the squeamish act. Then boom.

"You shouldn't be here! Shouldn't be here!" Alby cried out of nowhere, snatching onto Thomas's shirt. The boy struggled to get away, Newt rushing into hold Alby down.

"What the fuck?!" My eyes practically popped at the sudden display.

"Get the syringe!" Thomas ordered, jerking around with Alby. His head almost being smashed by the headboard. In a clatter Teresa fumbled around with the shot, raising it above her head. In one great motion she brought it down, sinking it deep into Alby's flesh.

He took it in, the liquid taking an almost immediate effect as he fell limp on top of the covers. Everyone fought to catch their breath. Alby's fright certainly wasn't expected.

"Anyone else piss their pants?" I asked, half joking while combing through my hair.

"Yeah." Thomas huffed, hand clutching his chest. "A little more than a dribble."

"Okay from now on someone stays here and watched him around the clock, no breaks." Newt's voice lilted to a near crack.

"Got it lieutenant." I said, my heart pittering back to it's regular pace. Alby's eyes lidded themselves closed. That was a lot, but it's okay. You're fine y/n, just fine. Who knows, maybe that magic blue stuff will help Alby. Maybe the creators had pity for our pathetic lives and gave him a sedative or pain reliever. Maybe...

Footsteps fell soft on the floor. Shifting our attention around, we saw Gally against the door frame. The glow from the room's tidy lamps washed against his skin, bringing out all the right colors embedded in his skin. Shadows casted down his face only enhanced his orderly, business like demeanor.

"Sundown." Gally motioned toward the exit. "Time to go." He caught my eyes then, taking a double check on the punishment status. There was no question about it, Thomas was sentenced unfairly and I had to protest it. Newt had also reminded everyone at the keeper meeting of all the shit I had done and rules I'd broken in the glade, so a night in the slammer would redeem my status and make me look selfless. It was a win win. Nodding to show my decidedness, Gally gave a quick nod back.

Thomas, Gally, and I. The three of us all in a row delved towards the deepest part of the deadheads. Gally led us, torch in hand as embers flicked off of the flames. He made sure to keep a watchful eye on Thomas and I as we faltered behind him, picking my hand up and pulling me closer to him when we got a little too close to each other. Then finally there it was, the slammer. surrounded by thickets, laced with thorns, and bushes tufting up and around it.

"There she is Thomas." I said quietly, lightly mocking a typical pirate accent. "In all her beauty. My other home." Gally held the light up, jangling around for his keys. He sorted through them one by one till he found what he was looking for. Pressing it into the lock he jiggled it around till we heard a creak. The hinges on the door begged for oil. We peered in.

Sticking out sorely was the typical off kilter wooden chair. It occupied the rest of the small cell. Considering that both Thomas and I were going to have to stay in there together, it was sure going to be a tight squeeze. Much to Gally's horribly hidden distaste.

"You sure you wanna do this?" He asked, lips pursed. Gally had pulled me to the side by my elbow. Crunching twigs under his feet, pleading for me not to by that hopeless eyebrow lift. "I won't let them put you back in here if that's what you want." He drew me close, eyes piercing into my own. "All you gotta do is say the word." He almost made me want to say yes. To forget the whole silly idea and have him carry me home to the treehouse. Almost.

"It's the ethical thing to do." I said, making an effort to sound firm. Serious. "I'm standing up for what I believe in." Fidgeting with the front of his shirts fabric, I leaned in. Pressing a sweet kiss onto him, our noses grazing the others. Letting it stretch out to make him feel better about me doing this. About me being away. "It'll just be a night." Breaking the kiss to reassure him. "Promise." He nodded, attempting to keep a smile hidden.

It didn't work.

Gally loved it when I kissed him. It was one of his weaknesses. However he didn't love when he turned to see Thomas staring at us, shifting around awkwardly. Narrowing his eyes at the boy, his hands disappeared off of me.

"Greenie, come here." He called out to Thomas, waving him over. Whispering to me he sent me off with. "See you in the morning y/n." He pulled at my hair to tease me affectionately.

"See you in the morning Gally." I grinned, shuffling into the dodgy cell. While I waited, I watched Thomas and Gally's exchange. They were far enough away for me to only catch snatches of words. It was brief but each word meaningful. I could tell.

I could always tell.

Gally's Point Of View:

"See you in the morning Gally." They slinked into the shadows of the cells, sitting perched up on the broken chair. Watching me. God, they were pretty. So fucking pretty.

"What's up?" The question stole my attention away from them to Thomas. Ugh Thomas. The guy made my skin feel like fire. I'm sure the feeling was mutual though. One thing we could agree on.

"I need to make something clear." My jaw locked up. Jesus he had a really punchable face. What I'd give for just one swing...no Gally if you do that you'd be a shuck idiot. Y/n would never talk to you then. I stabbed a finger over to them. "That, over there is mine." Images of him touching her. Kissing her. Flashed by in my head, each one making me dig my nails into my palms. "You so much as lay a hand on her. No, if you breathe on her, I won't just kill you quick. I'll make sure it takes forever and hurts like a bitch before you croak."

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna touch your girlfriend."

"Better not." I snarled, my lip curling up as I did so. He looked at me hard. I really hated his face.

"Hey what's your problem with me?"

"Everything started going wrong the minute you showed up. First Ben, then Alby and now the girl." Not to mention that horrible fight y/n and I had the day he arrived. I really didn't like the way that Theresa chick knew his name. "Everybody saw she recognized you."

"She recognized y/n too."

"That was a fluke. Y/n would never do anything you'd be mixed up with. Besides she saw another chick and reacted how girls do. She didn't know y/n's name. But I'm bettin' you know exactly who that chick is."

Nothing. Only dark and cicadas to keep the talk alive.

"Gally...you know we can't stay here forever right?" Yes. No. No. There was no good reason to leave we had everything we needed here. Only an idiot would want to leave. A stupid idiot named Thomas. One that could steer impressionable girls like y/n in the wrong direction.

What would I do then?

"We'll see."
