๐Ÿบ Night School ๐Ÿบ

The school doors slam shut, shaking on their hinges as Scott and Stiles grip the handlebars with everything they've got. "Lock it, lock it!" Scott yelled Stiles gave him a look, "Do I look like I have a key?" Stiles asked. "Grab something-" Scott said and Sawyer raised her eyebrows, "What?" She asked.

"Anything."

While Scott clutches the handlebars, Stiles looks out the doors to the bolt cutters leaning against the wall outside. Sawyer looked over at him, seeing the face he got whenever he had an idea, "No." She said and he looked at her. "I have to." He said, making her look at him crazy.

"No you don't. There's other ways that don't involve being a dumbass." She said and he just shook his head "I have to." He said and then pushed past Scott and ran outside. Holding still, Stiles glances into the darkness before he races to the side of the building where the bolt cutters lie.

Grabbing them, he turns back to see Scott and Sawyer staring out the window of the door, trying to speak. Trying to say "Run!" Stiles slowly turns his head as something lopes out of the darkness. Stiles charges back in with the bolt cutters. Scott grabs the other handle, the two of them fumbling to get both sides of the tool down into the bars, a makeshift lock. "That won't hold, will it?" Scott said and Sawyer shook her head, "Probably not." He answered.

They all looked back at the doors for a moment before they took off running. They run into a classroom and Stiles makes a beeline for the teacher's desk, "The desk- the desk."

The two boys slip around the teacher's desk and start pushing it toward the door only to flinch at the loud squeal of metal against tile before Sawyer shot forward and stopped them. "Stop, a desk isn't gonna keep someone with supernatural strength out, you're just making noise." Sawyer said and they nodded slightly.

"It's your boss." Stiles said, making Scott look at him, "What?" He said. "Deaton. The Alpha. Your boss." Sawyer said and Scott shook his head, "No-" Scott went to say but Stiles nodded. "Yes. Murdering, psycho werewolf." Stiles said and Scott shook his head again, "It can't be." He said and Sawyer raised her eyebrows.

"He disappears and that thing shows up ten seconds later to toss Derek twenty feet through the air. Are you telling me that's not convenient timing?" Sawyer asked but Scott just shook his head, not wanting to believe them. "It's not him."

"He killed Derek." Stiles said, making Scott sigh softly and shook his head, "Derek's not dead. He can't be dead." Scott argued. "Blood spurted out of his mouth. That doesn't exactly qualify as a minor injury. He's dead and we're next." Stiles said.

"What do we do?" Sawyer asked and Stiles nodded slightly, "We get to my Jeep. We get out of here. You seriously think about quitting your job. Good?" He asked looking at Scott, who nodded. The three of them looked out the window to see Stiles's Jeep sitting in the lot about twenty yards away. Scott puts his hands on the window sill, before going to try to open it but Stiles spoke up, "They don't open. The school's climate controlled."

"Then we break it." Scott said and Sawyer gave him a look, "Which would cause a lot of noise." She said, making him sigh. "So then we run really fast." They glance back at the Jeep, "Really fast." He said. While Stiles and Scott started looking for something to break one of the windows, Sawyer leaned closer to the glass.

"Hey, Stiles?" She said, making him look over at her, "What's wrong with the hood of the Jeep?" She asked and he looked at her confused. "What do you mean? Nothing's wrong." He asked and she raised her eyebrows slightly, "It's bent." She said. "You mean dented?" He asked and she shook her head, "No, I mean bent." She said and Stiles looked out the window. Oddly, the Jeep's hood twists up toward the windshield like the top of a tin can.

"What the hell-"

A sudden explosion of glass by their heads made them all quickly ducked under the window. After a moment, they look past raised arms to see something skidding across the tile and slamming to a stop on the opposite side of the room amid a shower of broken glass.

Stiles, Sawyer and Scott sat frozen underneath the classroom window, staring at the Jeep's battery in front of them. "That's the battery." Sawyer said and the boys nodded slowly, still slightly stunned. Stiles starts to get up but Scott grabbed him, "Don't." Scott said. "We have to move." Stiles said and Scott shook his head, "He could be right outside." Scott said.

"He is right outside." Sawyer argued and Scott kept Stiles down, hand gripping his friend's shoulder, "Just let me take a look." He said. Craning his neck to see out the window, Scott glances around the empty and dark school lot. "Anything?" Sawyer asked and Scott shook his head.

"Move now?"

"Move now." Scott said before they quickly ran out of the classroom. They glance down the opposite ends of the corridor, nervously drifting forward. "This way." Scott said but Stiles stopped him, "No, no-somewhere without windows."

"Every single room in this building has windows." Sawyer said, "Somewhere with less windows." He said and then realization crossed over Scott's features. "The locker room." He said, making them look at him before they started running.

They quickly run to the locker room and slip inside, slightly breathing heavily. "Call your dad." Scott said, making Stiles and Sawyer look at him, "And tell him what?" Sawyer asked and Scott shrugged slightly. "I don't know! Anything! Gas leak. A fire. Whatever! If that thing seeks the parking lot filled with cop cars, it'll take off." Scott said and Stiles shook his head, "What if it doesn't? What if it goes completely Terminator and kills every cop in sight, including our dad?" Stiled asked.

"They have guns!" Scott said and Sawyer squinted slightly, "Derek had to be shot with a wolfsbane-laced bullet to even slow him down. Regular bullet would probably be the equivalent of bbs to the Alpha." said and Stiles pointed at her and nodded in agreement.

"Then we- we have to- we have to find a way out and just run for it." Scott said and Sawyer shook her head, "There's nothing near the school for at least a mile." She said and Scott thought for a moment. "What about Derek's car?" He asked and Stiles nodded, "That could work... We go outside, we get the keys off his body, and then we take his car." Stiles said.

"And him." Scott said, making Sawyer sigh, "Fine. Whatever." She said before walking over to the door. The twins were about to walk out but Scott stopped them, making them look at him. "What?" Sawyer asked, "Wait, I think I heard something." Scott said, making them look at him. He focused his hearing for a moment before a shadow passed by the mottled glass window of the door, mere centimeters from them. "Hide." Scott said.

They step back as they all glance around in terrified desperation before realization crossed over Sawyer's features. "The lockers." She whispered making Scott look at her crazy, "What no-" He started to say. "It's better than nothing." Stiles says and reaches for a locker door climbing in while Sawyer quickly climbed into the one next to him making Scott sighed before quickly getting into a locker.

Sawyer closed her eyes, taking quiet but deep breaths as she tried to calm her heart rate. Suddenly the door of the locker Scott was in opened, followed by a scream of surprise making Sawyer and Stiles scrambled out of their lockers to see the janitor. "Son of a bitch!" Scott grabs him, trying to keep the terrified man on his feet, "Quiet-quiet!"

"Quiet, my ass. Are you two trying to kill me?" Gasping, the Janitor leans against the locker looking like he's on the verge of a heart attack, "All of you. Get out." He said. "Just listen for a second, okay?" Sawyer said and the Janitor shook his head, "No, not okay. Get the hell out of here. Right now!" The door slams open into the hallway, and the three of them get pushed out by the furious Janitor.

"Just one second to explain-"

"Shut up and go." The Janitor said before all of the sudden, the Janitor suddenly whips back into the locker room, swinging the door shut with him. The movement happens so quickly it leaves the three staring in utter confusion at the closed door. Until the Janitor's face comes slamming back into the window of the door making them all flinch back. They stagger away in shock as the body of the Janitor slams forward again, rattling the door in its frame.

Scott grabs at the door, trying to get it open, trying to help the man but Sawyer grabbed him. "I'm sorry, but he's probably long gone by now. We need to run." She said before they all finally run for it, racing down the corridor as the locker room door wrenches off its hinges.

Feet flying across the floor, Sawyer, Scott and Stiles race for the exit at the end of the hall. They reach the fire door handles at the same time, pushing down and shoving forward. The doors open, but only an inch, clanging against something behind them. Pushing again, they hear the same metallic clang. Something is on the other side, blocking the doors. "What the hell?"

Scott peers out the open inch of the door. "It's a dumpster. A garbage dumpster." He said, making them all sigh, "He pushed it in front of the doors to trap us in." Sawyer said, breathing heavily as she slightly paced around. Stiles turns, backing into the door, trying to push off from his feet and move the dumpster behind it, "Help me." He said as the door clangs against the dumpster again and again as he keeps trying to muscle it open.

"Stiles. Stiles stop." Scott said, grabbing his arm, pulling him away from the door, "I'm not dying here. I'm especially not dying in school." He said. "We're not going to die." Sawyer said, but didn't sound as convinced herself, as Stiles looked at her, "Then what's it doing? What does it want?" He asked and realization crossed over Scott's features.

"Me. Derek says it's stronger with a pack."

"Great. A psychotic werewolf who's into teamwork. That's beautiful." Stiles said sarcastically. They retreat from the doors again, looking down the other end of the hall. But their cautious progression comes to a halt when Scott pauses. He turns to the wall of windows at the side of the corridor looking out on the courtyard and opposite side of the school.

On the roof figure crouches in the darkness, red eyes gazing directly at them. The three of them start moving, running, nearly stumbling over each other as the alpha bounds from one level of the roof to the next, landing and leaping in the same instant as they race forward. Behind them, glass explodes into the hallway, the Alpha crashing back into the school.

Scott grabbed Stiles and Sawyer, pulling them to the adjacent stairwell, "Go!" He said. They race into the lower level of the school, running for safety. They run back into the basement of the school, slipping around corners. Fluorescent lights flicker above them with an electric hum.

"We have to do something." Stiles said as he hid behind a corner, "Like what?" Scott whispered. "Kill it. Hurt it. Inflict mental anguish on it. Something." Stiles said and Sawyer thought for a moment before the sound of a door slamming opened made the three of them freeze. Trying to calm they're breathing and rapid heartbeats as claws clicked against the tiles.

Sawyer quietly pulled her keys out of her pocket making them look at her. She held her finger up to her lips before slowly walking around the corner. She could see the Alpha at the end of the hall looking into another room. She quickly tossed her keys into another room before quickly running around the corner again.

The Alpha ran into the room and Sawyer quickly ran back and slammed the door shut. "The desk- Get the desk." She said and the guys quickly rushed to one of the steel desks and rams it against the closed door. Sawyer moved out of the way as the door jerked forward hitting the side of the desk. The Alpha roars from inside the cage room, slamming into the door. But the desk wedges between it and the opposite wall, trapping it.

"Did that just work?" Stiles asked, breathing heavily and Sawyer nodded, "For now." She said. Stiles motions Scott and Sawyer to climb over the desk, Sawyer did and Stiles helped her over but Scott hesitated as a loud breath came from the room.

Finally, Scott moves, awkwardly sliding over the desk as the Alpha's hand slams against the mesh wire window of the door making them flinch back. They stare at the massive hand, clawed fingers like talons fitting through the openings as it slowly pulls back, disappearing again into the shadows.

Scott and Sawyer were about to walk away but Stiles started walking closer, "What are you doing?" Scott asked. "I want to get a look." Stiles answered, getting closer. "Are you insane?... Don't answer that." Sawyer said and Stiles glanced at them "It's trapped. It can't get out." He said and the door rattled as if in response.

"That's right. We got you." Stiles said, making Sawyer shoot her brother a look, "Stiles!" She hissed and Stiles waved her off. "No. I'm not scared of this thing. I'm not scared of you. Because you're not going any-" He said but, suddenly, the Alpha leaps up, going right into the ceiling.

They gaze up in horror as the ceiling panels above them start shaking, bending and popping up under the weight of the creature. No longer trapped at all. They turn to watch the panels rumble and shake above as the Alpha makes its retreat.

"Are you scared now?" Sawyer asked and Stiles nodded slightly before they started running again. All of the sudden Scott stops and turns to Stiles and Sawyer, "Do you hear that?" He asked, making Stiles look at him confused, "Hear what?" He asked.

"Is that a phone ringing?" She asked and Scott nodded before realization crossed over Scott's face. "I know that ring. It's Allison's phone."

๐Ÿบ

"Hey, I can't seem to find them. Okay, give me a second. I'll be right there." Allison said into her phone as she walked through the swimming pool area. She clicks off and is about to put her phone away when it rings again, startling her, "Sawyer?" She answered.

"It's me. Where are you?" Scott said, "In the school looking for you. Why weren't you at my place?" She asked. "Where are you right now?" Scott asked, making her furrowed her brows at the tone in his voice. "On the first floor-" She said and he cut her off slightly "Where? Where are you exactly?" Scott's voice is so sharp, so laced with urgency that it's startled her silent. "The swimming pools."

"Get to the lobby. Go now."

"Okay, okay, I'm going"

๐Ÿบ

Scott, Sawyer and Stiles ran through a door at the same time as Allison did and they quickly ran up to her. "What are you doing? Why'd you come here?" Scott asked frantically and Allison looked at him confused, "Because you asked me to."

"I asked you to?" He asked, confused and she showed him her phone and the message on it: Meet me at the school - Scott. That's when Allison notices their reactions. "Why do I get the feeling you didn't send that message?" She asked and Scott shook his head slightly, "Because I didn't."

"Did you drive here?" Sawyer asked and Allison shook her head, "Jackson did." She said. "Jackson's here too?" Scott asked and Allison nodded, "And Lydia. What's going on? Who sent this text-" Allison started to say making Sawyer's eyes widen before Allison's phone rings again making her pick up.

"Where are you?" She asked and suddenly the doors opened and Lydia and Jackson walked in. "Finally. Can we go now?" Lydia asks but before any of them can speak they hear an odd rumbling above them making them all look up. "Run." Scott said, He spins, pushing them forward as something bursts out of the ceiling panels behind them. They ran until they reached the cafeteria, slamming the door open and running inside.

"Scott, wait- not here- not here." Stiles says as he and Sawyer look at the windows but Scott isn't listening. Swinging the doors closed as Scott spins back to search for a way to barricade them in. Allison and Lydia shoots questions at him but he doesn't answer, concentrating his efforts on shoving one of the vending machines forward.

Jackson and Allison get behind it as well, sliding it against the doors. Scott's panic seems to infect them all, heightening the fear among the group. "Guys, hold on." Stiles said as even a frightened Lydia helps, pushing chairs forward, moving as fast as she can. "Guys, wait a second. Hello." Stiles continues to try and get their attention but they don't listen, making Sawyer sigh.

"Hey!" She yelled, making them all stop and turn to her and Stiles, "Okay, nice work. Beautiful job, everyone. Now what do you think we should do about the twenty foot wall of windows!" Stiles said as he shook his hands at the field of glass to his right. Scott and the others look up, realizing he was right.

"Can someone please explain what's going on? I'm freaking out here and I'd at least like to know why." Allison asked and Scott didn't respond. Doesn't even look at her. "Someone killed the janitor." Sawyer said, making them look at her wide eyes, "What?" Lydia asked and Sawyer nodded.

"The janitor's dead."

"What's she talking about? Is this a joke?" Allison asked looking at Scott who shook his head, "Who killed him?" Jackson asked and Lydia shakes her head. "No, no, no. This was supposed to be over. The mountain lion-" She tried to say but Jackson cut her off, "Don't you get it? That wasn't a mountain lion."

"Who is it? What does he want?" Allison asked, looking back and forth between the three. Stiles looks to Scott for help but his friend almost seems to be shutting down. Just shaking his head, no idea what to say while Allison and the others become more panicked. "What's happening? Scott?"

"I don't know- it's just- if we go out there, he's going to kill us." Scott said, making them look at him fearfully. "Us? Kill us?" She asked and Allison turned to Stiles and Sawyer, pressing them, "Who? Who is it?"

"Derek. It's Derek Hale." Scott suddenly spoke up, making all eyes turn back to him in shock, especially Stiles and Sawyer. Scott looks almost surprised at saying it himself. "Derek killed the janitor?" Jackson asked and Scott nodded, "You're sure?"

"I saw him." Scott answered, making Sawyer sigh and shake her head slightly while pinching the bridge of her nose. "The mountain lion-" Lydia went to say but Scott cut her off, "No. Derek killed them." He said.

"All of them?"

"Starting with his own sister." Scott said, "And the bus driver?" Allison asked and Scott nodded. "And then the guy in the video store. It's been Derek the whole time. He's in here with us. And if we don't get out... he's going to kill us too." Scott said and Jackson looked at Stiles and Sawyer.

"Call the cops." Jackson said, making the twins look at him, "No." They both said making Jackson look at them crazy. "What do you mean no?" He said and Stiles squinted at him, "I mean no. Want to hear it in Spanish? Noh." Stiles said. "Derek killed three people. We don't know what he's armed with." Sawyer said and Jackson scoffed.

"Your Dad is armed with an entire Sheriff's Department. Call him." He did and Lydia held her hand up slightly, "I'm calling." Lydia said, holding the phone up to her ear. "Hold on- Lydia, just wait-" Sawyer said as she walked forward, but Jackson pushed her back making her cock an eyebrow daringly.

"Yes, we're at Beacon Hills High School. We're trapped in here and we need you to..." Lydia pauses. The others watch her expression change to one of surprise as she slowly pulls the phone away from her ear. "She hung up on me." She said slowly turning back to them and Allison raised her eyebrows, "The police hung up on you?"

"She said they got a tip warning them there would be prank calls about a break in at the high school. She said if I called again they would trace it and have me arrested."

"Then call again."

"They won't trace a cell phone. They'll send a car to your house before they send someone here." Stiles said and everyone sighed, "What the... What is this? Why does Derek want to kill us? Why's he killing anyone?" Allison asked and they all looked to Scott for the answer.

"Why are you looking at me?" Scott asked when he noticed them, "Is he the one who sent her the text?" Lydia asked and Scott shook his head. "No- I mean, I don't know." He said quickly, "Is he the one who called the police?" Allison asked.

"I don't know!" He snaps at her, causing Allison to flinch noticeably. Behind her, Jackson can't help but smile just a little bit, making Sawyer squint at him slightly. Stiles gets in between them to pull Scott aside along with Sawyer. "Do you have a death wish?!" Sawyer whisper shouted at Scott, "You do realize that theres a possibility that Derek might heal and you just framed him for multiple murder, including his sister's. If he's alive, he's gonna kill you." She said and Scott sighed.

"I-I didn't know what to say. I had to say something. But if he's dead, it doesn't matter. Except if he's not...Oh God, I totally bit her head off." Scott said, "And she'll totally get over it. Bigger things to deal with. Like getting out of here alive." Stiles said.

"But we are alive. And it could have already killed us. It's cornering us." Sawyer said and Stiles raised his eyebrows at her, "What? Like it wants to eat us all at the same time?" He asked and Scott shook his head. "No. Derek said it wants revenge." He said, "Against who?" Stiles asked and Sawyer shrugged slightly. "The Argents?" She suggested and Stiles nodded "Maybe that's what the text was about. Someone had to send it." Stiles said.

"Okay, assheads! New plan- Stiles or Sawyer calls their useless dad and tells him to send someone with a gun and decent aim. Are we good with that?" Jackson said, making Scott sigh, "He's right. Tell him the truth if you have to. Just call him." Scott said and Stiles shook his head.

"We're not watching out dad get eaten alive." He said before Jackson steps past the others, charging toward Stiles. "That's it. Give me your phone." Jackson says and he spins Stiles around, grabbing for the phone in his pocket. But in a moment of pure instinct, Stiles reels back and punches Jackson, sending him sprawling to the floor.

Cradling his shaking hand, Stiles looks to Scott who is just as surprised while Sawyer bit her lip, trying not to laugh as she pulled her phone out. "Dad? Hey, it's me... and it's your voicemail. Uh... I need you to call me back. Like now. Like right now right now-" Something slams into the doors of the cafeteria making Lydia scream and Sawyer grabbed Lydia's arm, pulling her back.

"We're at the school- Dad- we're at the school-" Another bang and a stack of chairs tumble down as the barricade against the doors begins to fall. Sawyer lowers the phone, backing away with the others while Lydia tightly grips Sawyer's arm.

Something hammers at the doors, smashing at them, pounding, desperately trying to break through. The hinges at the top of the doors begin coming out of the wall, metal seeming to bend and collapse inward. "The kitchen. The door out of the kitchen leads to the stairwell." Stiles says, "Which only goes up." Scott said and Sawyer nodded. "Up is better than here." She said and with another bang and the decision was made and they ran for the kitchen.

The stairwell door slams open as Scott and the others spill out into the second floor hallway. They try doors, all locked. Until Lydia finds an open one and they hurtle into a Chemistry room, quickly and quietly shutting the door. Scott grabs the teacher's chair and fits it under the knob as they hear the stairwell door slam open.

Everyone backs away to the wall where they can't be seen at the window of the door, each holding their breath. The sound of claws against the tile floor as the creature comes closer and closer. The door rattles from the weight of its approach.

Lydia covers her mouth with her hands, trying not to shriek as a breath steams the window at the door. Sawyer closed her eyes as she tried to control her breaths and her heartbeat. A second later, the shadow outside moves on, the sound of its lumbering body dissipating making Sawyer look at the door in confusion. It knew they were there, why didn't it do anything?

After a moment, the teens breathe but no one moves. Eyes still on the window of the door, Scott whispers, "Jackson, how many people can fit in your car?" He asked and Jackson shrugged, "Five if somebody sits on someone's lap."

"Five? I barely fit into the back." / "There's six of us, Jackass." Allison and Sawyer said at the same time, "It doesn't matter. There's no getting out without drawing attention." Stiles said and then Scott looked around. "What about this?" Scott's eyes to the steel door past the teacher's desk. "It leads to the roof. We could go down the fire escape to the parking lot in seconds." Scott said and Stiles shook his head, "That's a deadbolt."

"The Janitor has a key." Scott said and Sawyer raised her eyebrows, "You mean his body has it." She said. "I can get it. I can find him by scent. By blood." Scott whispered to the twins, "Doesn't mean you have to be a dumbass." Sawyer said and Scott shrugged slightly. "I'm getting the key." Scott said turning to the others, "Are you serious?" Allison asked and Scott nodded. "It's the best plan. Someone has to get the key if we want to get out of here." He said.

"You can't go out there unarmed." Allison says and Scott glanced around before grabbing the teacher's pointer from the chalkboard, gripping it like a baseball bat. Sawyer took a deep breath and face palmed while everyone looked at Scott like he was both crazy and stupid. "It's better than nothing."

'There's got to be something else-"

"There is." Lydia says and nods to the cabinet full of chemicals that Sawyer was standing next to. "What? Like throw acid on him?" Stiles asked and Lydia rolled her eyes, "No, like a firebomb. There is everything you need to make a self-igniting Molotov Cocktail." Lydia said, making Sawyer smile softly.

"Self-igniting..."

"Molotov Cocktail. What? I read it somewhere." Lydia said shrugging when everyone stared at her, "Well, we don't have the key to that either." Stiles said before there was the sound of glass shattering. Everyone looked over to see Sawyer pulling her elbow away from the now broken door to the chemical cabinet.

"That works."

๐Ÿบ

"I don't get this. I don't get why he's out there, why he left and... I can't... I can't get my hands to stop shaking. My hands-" Allison said, a couple minutes after Scott left as she paced. "It's going to be okay." Jackson said, making Sawyer slowly look up to see him grab Allison's hands.

She glanced over at Lydia who seems strangely calm, almost like she's determined not to be frightened anymore while Jackson leans closer to Allison. "I can't stop shaking." Allison said and Jackson nodded, "It's okay." He puts his hands over hers, their fingers intertwining, trying to keep her calm while his eyes linger over her just a little too long.

"Jackson, you handed me the sulfuric acid, right? It has to be sulfuric acid. It won't ignite, if it's not." Lydia said as she looked back at him to find him glaring at her. "I gave you exactly what you asked for. Didn't I?" He snapped, making Sawyer raise her eyebrows.

"You are so unbelievable." She said, making everyone look over at where she was leaning against the chalkboard with her arms crossed. "What are you talking about?" Jackson asked and she shrugged slightly as she got off the board and walked around the desk.

"I'm appalled at the fact you're acting like a bigger dick than what you probably got in your pants." Sawyer said and Jackson rolled his eyes, "Do you have a point to this or do you need your little dog to calm you down?" Jackson asked making Sawyer raised her eyebrows.

"You are aware of what's going on right? We are trapped in our school while a mass murder wants to kill us, but yet you still find the need to act overly friendly Allison so it messes with Scott. Not to mention you're doing this in front of your actual girlfriend, who you really don't deserve." Sawyer said and Jackson took a step towards her.

"How about you learn to mind your own business." He said and she raised her eyebrows, "How about you learn how to be a decent human being before you get punched by the other half of the Stilinski Twins." Sawyer said before Stiles quickly shot forward.

"Okay!" Stiles said as he pulled his sister away from Jackson. Before anyone could do anything a massive roar rang throughout the school, making lockers and doors shake. The others turn to hear the echoes of the bizarre sound coming from the school below. All except for Jackson who fell to his knees, wincing in pain, crying out in pain.

Sawyer furrowed her brows as she looked down at him before noticing the scabs in the back of his neck. Allison and Lydia pull Jackson back to his feet, "I'm fine. Seriously, I'm okay." Jackson said, pushing away from them. "That didn't sound okay." Allison said and Sawyer raised her eyebrows, "What's on the back of your neck?" She asked and Jackson just gave her a dirty look.

"I said I'm fine."

"It's been there for days and he won't tell me what happened-" Lydia said and Jackson cut her off, "As if you actually care." He snapped, making Sawyer glare at him, "Keep talking to her like that and I'll gladly smash your face into the window." She threatened and Stiles cautiously pulled her back.

"Can we not argue for half a second here?"

"Where's Scott? He should be back by now." Allison asked a few seconds later she saw a silhouette at the door, "Scott?" She asked as she hurried over to the door. Grabbing the knob, she twists but is unable to open it. She looks out, seeing only the back of Scott's head, "Scott? What are you doing?"

"Where's he going?"

"Scott!" She pounds on the door, yanking at the knob, shouting his name as Sawyer furrowed her brows slightly. "Scott!" Allison yelled and Sawyer held her hand up slightly, "Stop, stop! Do you hear that? Listen." She said and they all listened for a moment before they heard it.

The sound of sirens.

๐Ÿบ

"You sure it was Derek Hale?" Stilinski asked as he, Scott, Stiles and Sawyer walked out the school. "Yes." Scott said and the twins nodded, "We saw him, too." They both said at the same time.

"What about the janitor?" Scott asked, "We're still looking." Stilinski said and Scott raised his eyebrows as they walked down the stairs. "Did you check under the bleachers? Under them?" Scott asked and Stilinski nodded as he glanced back at them, "Yeah, Scott, we looked. We pulled them out, just like you asked. There's nothing." He said.

"I'm not making this up." Scott said and Stilinski nodded, "I know. I believe you, I do." He said before stopping and turning to them. "No, you don't. You have this look like you feel bad for me. Like you wanna believe me, but I know you don't." Scott said and Stilinski sighed softly as Stiles and Sawyer leaned against the railing of the stairs.

"Listen- we're gonna search this whole school. We're gonna find him. Okay? I promise." Stilinski said before someone called him, making him look at the teens, "Stay. All of you." He said, giving his kids a pointed look making them look at him offended before he walked away.

"Well, we survived, dude. You know? We outlasted the Alpha. It's still good, right? Being alive?" Stiles asked as Scott turned to them, "When we were in the chemistry room, he walked right by us. You don't think that it heard us? You don't think it knew exactly where we were?" Scott asked and Sawyer sighed and nodded slightly.

"So why are we still alive?" She asked, "It wants me in its pack. But, I think, first... I have to get rid of my old pack." Scott said, making them look at him confused. "What do you mean? What old pack?" Stiles asked, "Allison... Jackson, Lydia... you guys." Scott said, making Stiles and Sawyer glance at each other.

"The Alpha doesn't wanna kill us..." They both said at the same time and Scott turned away from them, "It wants me to do it. And that's not even the worst part." Scott said and Sawyer furrowed her brows. "How in holy hell is that not the worst part, Scott?" She asked, "Because when he made me shift..." Scott trailed off as he turned to them.

"I wanted to do it. I wanted to kill you. All of you."
