"Soooo... What are we doing here?" I asked as we sat at Cassie's dining table, Maddy sitting next to me.

"Yeah, I'm wondering that too" Kat agreed "Look I just need advice on two things, and don't say a single ducking word to anyone" Cassie started, all of us sharing a look before agreeing.

"So, the night of Daniel's Halloween party, something happened," Cassie said slowly, the suspense eating me up.

"Like what?" "Well we kissed, and it wasn't the first time we made out to" Cassie explained, a sigh of relief leaving my lips.

"Oh okay I thought you were gonna say you were pregnant," I say, Cassie and Lexi, looking at me shocked.

"What?" I asked, Lexi, mouthing something to me as Cassie mouthed me off for a short second till realization hit.

Since it wasn't my place I decided to stay quiet and act like what I said was a joke.

"Anyways, I want to tell McKay" "HUH!"

The whole table was shocked, I mean why would you tell someone that you're dating that you kissed someone else? No matter how they find out it'll never turn out right.

"So you want to tell McKay you made out with Daniel at the carnival and on Halloween?" "Yeah but I don't have to say it was Daniel"

"Bitch that is the worst idea I've ever heard" "Yeah I mean plus this was twice, imagine how McKay's gonna act" I informed.

"Yeah but it's not like I truly cheated, and I just don't want secrets between us" "I wouldn't worry too much, it's not like you two are gonna be together forever," Kat said, surprising me a bit.

"Kat, what the fuck is your problem? You're being a bad friend now. You were a bad friend to me and this new personality is seriously unlikable"

"Why? Because I won't sit here and listen to you bitch and moan about your psychotic, abusing boyfriend who you've broken up with a thousand times" "It was the lowest point in my life, so, yeah"

"So low that you even lead Y/n on each time?" Kat questioned, making me wonder what I did to be called out all of a sudden.

"Kat, why are you being so fucking mean?" "Maddy ever since I met you all you talk about are your clothes, your boyfriend, and any other superficial shit that comes up as if there's nothing to talk about" Kat stated, eventually getting up to leave with me being the only one saying bye.

"...wow"

After all of that we had all left Cassie's place, the tension so thick that I could cut it.

"Hey, I'll text you la-" Before telling Maddy my usual goodbye I had been pulled into a kiss, a very deep one at that.

"I've never meant to lead you on and I never will again okay?" Maddy said to me, seeming as though she was going to cry any second now.

"O-okay" "and I'll text you later," Maddy said before walking off to her car, leaving me stunned for a moment before walking to my car as well, going home so I could tell my brothers everything that happened today.
