Β  Β  Β  "Stop the bus!" Bunny yelled, the bus drive stepping on the brakes, causing the bus to skid to a stop, everyone jerking forwards a bit.

Β  Β  Β Β  Deena jumped out of the bus, Bunny following her movements as they raced down the hill, following the car.

Β  Β  Β Β  As they reached the bottom of the hill, Sam was out of the car, staring into the pitch black darkness that consumed the forest in front of her.

Β  Β  Β  Deena crouched down next to her, Bunny following her movement as she spoke, "Sam!"

Β  Β  Β  Sam gasped, moving both of her hands of the red moss that covered the ground in a blanket.

Β  Β  Β  "Are you okay?" Deena asked, receiving no answer, she breathed out, her hands going to Sams face, "I'm so sorry."

Β  Β  Β Β  "Stay away from her, bull dyke freak," Peter rasped out, Bunny glaring at him even though he probably couldn't see it.

Β  Β  Β  Β  As a twig snapped behind them, Bunny whipped around, letting out a breath of relief at the sight of Simon and Kate.

Β  Β  Β  "Oh, Shit!" Simon says, getting down on his knees next to Bunny as he took in Sams appearance.

Β  Β  Β  "Okay, we should not be down here," Kate said, staying away from Sam.

Β  Β  Β  "Shut up and help me carry her," Deena says, trying to help he injured girl in front of her.

Β  Β  Β  "Okay, we need to leave, like, ten minutes ago," Kate replies, looking at Bunny for help, earning only a panicked look and a small shrug in return.

"We have to clear her airways," Simon says, Deena slapping his hands away from Sams face.

"Quit," Deena yells him in a hushed voice.

"Hey, I got this. Chill out," he tells Deena, turning to Sam now, "I got this."

"How many fingers am I holding up?" He asks, holing three fingers in front of her face.

"Three," she answers, Simon turning away from her and speaking.

"See?" he tells Deena, "she's fine."

As soon as he finishes his sentence, Sam pukes blood out all over Simons shirt, Bunny getting slightly queasy at the sight of it.

Β  Β  Β  She spit more out, it landing on Simons shirt again, causing him to stand up with the rest of them.

Β  Β  Β  "What the fuck?!?" He exclaimed, looking at the red blood that covered his used to be white shirt.

Β  Β  Β Β  "That's not coming out," Bunny commented, Simon glaring at her.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Sirens were heard amongst the group, letting them know that an ambulance and the police were getting close.

Bunny turned to Sam, "you're going to be okay! The ambulance is almost here, okay?"

Sam nodded in return, Bunny and Deena helping her to her feet, each placing one of her arms over their shoulders and helping her up the hill.

As they reached the road, medics came over and grabbed Sam away from the girls, Bunny telling them that there was two more kids down there.

They looked up as the sheriff walked over to them, "I'm going to need to ask you guys a few questions. Separately."

"Yes, sir," Bunny answered, crossing her arms as he looked at her.

He began with Simon, Kate following shortly after. Peter and his friend had been checked out and cleared, also being questioned.

Bunny went next, walking over to where he stood with a notepad and a pen in his hand, "Wanna tell me what happened?"

"I'm not sure I can answer that question, seeing as I'm not even certain what happened." Bunny answered.

"Really? Because the bus driver saw you... with a cooler... at the back of the bus with the emergency door open," he told her.

"It was an accident. Those happen, you know?" She told him.

"You're not in trouble, Bunny-" he tried to speak, getting cut off.

"No! You don't get to call me that! Not after what you did! You deserve to rot in hell you piece of shit!" She told him, fire burning in her eyes.

"You don't get to blame me for that! It's not my fault for what happened that night, that was yours and your mothers!" He explained to her, trying not to draw attention to them.

"But it wouldn't have been, if you would've stayed! Instead you left, like the asshole you are! You're the reason this family didn't work! Not mine, not my moms, yours! Now fuck off! I'm staying at Deenas tonight!" She told him, bumping her should with his as she walked away, careful to not that the tears that burned her eyes fall.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Deena was called over next, Bunny standing next to Kate and laying her head on her shoulder, trying to stop the headache that was coming.

Β  Β  Β Β  "I hate him, Kate. I hate him so much," she whispered, careful to not let Simon hear.

Β  Β  Β Β  "I know Bunny," Kate answered, turning to where she was hugging Bunny, rubbing circles onto her back.

Β  Β  Β Β  "I hate him for not staying with my mom. I hate him for deserting me before I was even born. I hate him for not being there for me, and for not being an actual father!" She said, tearing beginning to escape her eyes.

Β  Β  Β  Β  "Shhh, it's okay Bunny. You're gonna be okay, because you're strong, and you don't need him, okay?" Kate told her, pulling away from the hug.

Β  Β  Β Β  "Yeah, you're right," Bunny said wiping away the tears and smiling at Kate, "thank you."

Β  Β  Β Β  "Of course," Kate replied.

Β  Β  Β Β  Deena walked back over to the group, "The bus is going to drop us all off at our houses, Sheriffs orders."

Β  Β  Β Β  "Okay, let's go then," Bunny said, walking over to the bus and stepping onto it, Deena taking the seat next to her, both of them watching the trees go by as they drive.
