"Madeline Perez will you be my girlfriend?"

Leon and Maddy became inseparable. He would drop Maddy off at school and pick her up so they could go to each other's houses or go out. Today was the day Leon officially met Maddy's friends and Jules and Rue were coming Along.

"You nervous Lee?" Jules asks patting Leon's shoulder.

"Not really for introducing but maybe the insane amount of questions I'm gonna get asked." Leon shrugs.

"Are you gonna ask Maddy yet?" Rue teases putting her shoulders around her tall friend.

"I'm not sure Rue, I mean I like Maddy a lot-"

"Then what's the problem. You changed a bit, you've been clean for what 3 weeks, your not getting into trouble, Lee your nice and a gentleman why would you second guess."

Leo got clean after the night he went to Maddy's house, she didn't ask him but she did say that she didn't know if she could handle his ways, so he got clean. I did too for Jules after the whole Fentanyl thing and we're doing pretty good.

"- All I'm saying is don't stress it Maddy Really likes you." Jules finishes. "Oh and the carnival is this weekend maybe this would be a good date once you ask Maddy." She teases. Before Leon could respond they walked towards the door where the door was immediately open. Maddy smiles at the three.

"Hey Lee." She hugs. The height difference was really noticeable so he had to kinda crouch down along with Rue and Jules. "Hey Rue, hi Jules."

"Hey Maddy." They say as they hug the shorter girl.

"Let's go they're waiting in the dining table." She leads them inside her house. Leon walks beside Maddy holding her hand as she tells him about her day, with him listening to every word like it was important.

The group of girls turn to look at Leon and their mouths go out wide. Bb's smoke from her vape releasing in the process. "That's the hottie from the party!" She blurts out.

"Bb." Maddy scolds. "Girls this is Leon. Leon these are my friends." Leon lets go of her hand as Rue and Jules join the rest of them at the table.

"Hi I'm Leon." He introduces himself shaking hands with a very speechless Lexi.

"Lexi." She breathes out.

"Nice to meet you Lexi, really like your hair." He walks towards another one of Maddy's friends. "I'm Leon."

"Cassie." She says when he walks towards another girl she sends a thumbs up to Maddy who mouths 'I know right'

"Kat its really nice to see you." Leon smiles going in for a hug.

"You remembered me?" Kat asks shocked.

"Yeah Why wouldn't I What you did to that bastard was the highlight of my day." He says making both share a laugh.

"How do you know Kat?" Rue asks, asking the question everyone had on their mind.

"I was at the mall and shopping and Troy was being a bitch so I made him pay for everything, Leon saw and we talked for a bit before he left." Kat informed saying half the truth which Leon took notice of but didn't say anything.

"Hi I'm guessing your Bb?" Leon asks shaking her hand. "I'm Leon."

"I loved the part where you spilled soda on that dick." Bb comments as they laugh.

"Okay now that introducing is out of the way sit down." Cassie says. Leon sits down as all the girls but Maddy, Rue and Jules get closer to Leon.

"Maddy come sit down and enjoy the show." Rue whispers as they sit on the couch.

"So Leon what are your intentions with Maddy? Sex? Nudes?" Cassie asks staring intensely at the boy who grows wide eyes.

"No I have this rule where-"

"Where sex after Marriage you Christian or something?" Bb interrupted.

"No im not a Christian but I have a rule where I don't have sex till 6 good dates." Leon states looking at the 3 girls in the couch who knew why?

"Why 6 dates."

"No reason." Jules, Maddy, Rue and Leon say at the same time. Kat shakes her head before asking a question.

"So it true you dated Chris? How did you put up with her for how ever long you dated?" Everyone's ears perk up and look at him for an answer.

Leon chuckles before running his hands through his hair a method he does to calm himself. "Yes I did date Christina, I dated her since the 8th grade, no I wouldn't consider her my first love, the reason why I put up with her for so long is I thought things would change and they didn't so I broke up with her." He explains.

"How did that go?" Lexi speaks up. Leon turns to her and makes a face remembering how he broke up with her and why.

"Uh you guys might think I'm an asshole so I wouldn't say it." He says getting a bit uncomfortable.

"Did you like hit her?"

"You cheated on her?"

"Did you get with her friend or something?" They ask at the same time making Leon more uncomfortable. Maddy notices she tries to say something but Rue speaks.

"I told him to." Everyone's eyes go on Rue waiting for her to speak more. "He uh...broke up with her through call and total dick move but if you guys knew Chris like I did you would have not cared how he broke up with her. Leon wouldn't do that to another girl, nor cheat, get with her best friend, or beat a girl. Because A far as I know Leon isn't that type of person...so could you guys please stop making him uncomfortable?"

Maddy and Jules look at Rue with smiles as Leon and Rue nod at each other with a smile. "And I especially wouldn't think about hurting Maddy physically, mentally or verbally I like her too much to do that." The girls look at Leon at complete awe as he gets up. "Imma go to the bathroom." He walks out the room. The girls get up to the table and squeal at Maddy.

"Oh my god Maddy he's so nice." Lexi says, which was completely out of character for her.

"And a fuckin gentlemen Maddy where did you meet him?" Cassie adds.

"At a party the day he fought with some creep touching and following Rue and Jules." Maddy says with an eye roll at the mention of the asshole. "Guys I really like him he's literally nothing like Nate, I'm just waiting till he asks me out."

"Well don't worry Maddy I don't think that will happen any moment now." Jules says as the girls once again let out another squeal.

"Are you guys okay?" Leon asks making all the girls go quiet.

"Yeah...nothing going on." Maddy smiles.

"Okay well you ready to go? Or you wanna spend more time with your friends because I can wait If you want?" He asks putting his hands in his pockets.

"No- no you guys have fun where ever it is that you are going just remember to wear protection." Bb says making the girls laugh and Leon chuckle as Maddy glares at her.

Maddy gets up from the couch and Leon hold his hand out for her to take which she does. "It was nice meeting you guys and seeing one of you again, I hope we'll see each other next time." Leon and Maddy walk of the house.

"God Maddy didn't get herself a boy she got herself a man." Lexi says as the rest of the girls agree.

"So I wanted to take you to this arcade let our inner child out." Leon says enthusiastically making Maddy giggle.

"I'd love to." She responds putting her seatbelt on.

"You want the aux?" He hold it out Maddy kindly takes it kissing his cheek in the process. "Well let's go!"

"I win! Again!" Maddy taunts Doing a little dance as Leon smiles down at her. "Your really bad at basketball Leon your like 6 inches taller than me and you still suck. In your face."

Leon doesn't say anything before attempting to walk away with his head down to fake being sad. "Didn't know you were such a bully Maddy."

"Don't be upset it's just the truth now let's play more games." She drags him to play Skee- ball. Maddy was getting a bit cocky and ended up losing as Leon took the lead by many points. "Don't shove it in my face or I swear to god I will leave." She threatened jokingly. Leon hugs her from behind and kisses her head softly before laughing.

"Me? Never Maddy, I'm to handsome to be left out here and I wouldn't want a pretty girl to snatch me up when I have you." He says. Good thing Maddy's back was towards him so he wouldn't have noticed her heart beating faster and almost blushing mess of a face.

"Whatever Lee lets go play more games."

"Or we can take pictures in the photo booth first?" He asks now dragging her. They took several funny pictures and posed as models before Maddy took one kissing his cheek as he smiles at her.

The two teens played game where you shoot zombies which turned into a competition. "Leo I can't see!" Maddy laughs trying to move his hand out of her eyes.

"That precisely the point Madeline how else am I gonna win." Leon states in a 'duh' tone making Maddy roll her eyes but wanting him to say her full name again.

"That cheating though." She whines slapping his hand softly. He removes his hand and Maddy lets out a small scream as she gets killed by a zombie, Leon laughs loudly as she glares at him. "You cheating bastard that's no fair." He wins the game and kisses Maddy in the cheek before smiling smugly.

"I win and guess what? You lose." He taunts grabbing their tickets. "Let's go get prizes then food. You hungry?"

"Starving." She groans. "Good game Leo."

"Good game Maddy." They held hands making their way to the prize booth. They had enough tickets for a stuffed animal but they instead go a lot of mini prizes and shitty mood rings. Which Leon kept both in his pocket for later along with a nice ring.

"Okay let's get you some food." Leon says. They get some Chinese food and sat in one of the few booths they had in the food court.

"I am having such an amazing time." Maddy says humming in deleite as she eats he food.

"Same never really went to these as a kid so this is my first time." Leon admits as Maddy's eyes widen.

"You've never been to an arcade?" He shakes his head. "Now I feel like a cunt because I was teasing you for being bad at the games even though it was your first times." She smile feeling guilty.

"It's fine you didn't know and now if we come here more often maybe I can get better maybe not to the point where I can beat you but it's fine." Leon smile. Maddy looks at him in adoration.

"Why do you find a way to boost my confidence without even knowing it."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you don't shove anything in my face, when I don't know something you explain it to me and not make me feel dumb, not to mention you don't care how I dress but still compliment me all the time. Why?"

"I don't know you already have the confidence and you never need any male validation so I really like that about you Maddy." He says.

They finished their food shortly after and left the arcade and Leon drove them to the lake. Her head laying on his lap as he softly runs his fingers through her hair. "Today might be the most fun I've had in a while." She sighs smiling up at him.

"Same. But you wanna know what would make mine better?"

"What?" She raises an eyebrow.

"Can you sit up?" He ask gently. "Only if you want."

Maddy sits up looking at The boy in from of her who looked semi nervous. Leon looks for the rings in his pocket. "Maddy I really like you, and I just wanna get to know you more even if I feel like I've know you my whole life, you don't know much about my past and why I do stupid shit but when I'm with you I feel safe."

Maddy smiles as she feels tears in her eyes.

"Madeline Perez will you be my girlfriend?" Leon pulls out the plastic shitty moon ring. Maddy laughs before looking in complete awe at him.

"I would love to Leon." She puts on the ring before she passionately kisses him. Their lips matched each other perfectly. One of his hands on her cheek while the other placed nicely on her waist pulling her slightly closer. As her hands were on his neck. Maddy smiles into the kiss before They pull away.

"I also got you this one if you don't want the mood ring." He gives her a ring that had a daisy design on it.

"Aw Lee you didn't have to."

"I wanted to though Maddy. I'll be happy giving you nice things." He kisses her nose as she smiles at him. "And the Carnival is coming up you maybe wanna be my date?"

"I wouldn't want it any other way."
