Yuri Briar X Reader

'House master Henderson!'

You heard the scream from the small teachernook at the end of the main hall; and not long after the sound of running feet along the corridor before the doors crashed opened. His hair was frayed, standing feet above his head almost going against gravity to say the least. He had smudges on his glasses firmly pressed against the shattered lens.

Hendersons face grew stoic more than it usually was, he sat uncomfortably in his seat upright to the point he could almost blend in with an uptight moron, yet who would ever call their boss a moron you wouldn't have any clue. You placed a test paper over your lips pressed against the top of your nose to stop yourself from giggling right in front of the science teacher.

'You need to expell that Forger girl!'

The teacher continued to ramble on about silly little things that Anya apparently did. I could tell Mr Henderson was trying to keep his cool, it isn't of the "elegance" brand to blow your lid in front of higher ups like what the science teacher did.

'Mr..' You couldn't care less but on the terms of a child like Anya one that reminded you so much of your younger self you hated when people used such horrid terms for a child that just needed extra tender loving care. 'It is really quite none of your care on what a child is like when you are just a substitute.'

You placed the test paper down upon the wooden desk, skimming past the rest and making the pile uneven in display. You knew you shouldn't dare to speak especially when it wasn't your class rather Mr Hendersons who should have the final say.

You continued on.. 'Perhaps your instructions lead to the issues, or the tone you used.. You can not just tell us to expel our student due to one behaviour which could just be a misunderstanding since you do not have a right to say being a substitute and having her once.'

Your voice rang out softly but firmly, it was like you said what Mr Henderson was thinking but not willing to say. I stared upon the man as he stood up in a huff, shouting and what not before slamming the door. Mr Henderson looked at you, his face narrowed; eyebrows knitted before he let a sigh escape his lips.

'Perhaps a visit to the Forger's home is necessary.'

You nodded in agreeable, The Forgers seemed like a sweet family however with many unusual quirks. Since you were the one who caused trouble with the so-called substitute you would have to accompany Henderson.

You stood at the door twiddling with a piece of string fallen from your dress, you could deal with children lots of children however you couldn't deal with the parents of said kids due to the nervous fear that you wouldn't make a good image of yourself in front of them.

He knocked on the door and placed both hands upon his cane awaiting for the reciprecants of the door to open it. You held your breathe in your throat as the door was opened by someone unusually peculiar. Unusual red eyes pealed upon across your face, black hair that in thin strands- fell upon his face. The white coloured shirt was unbuttoned from the top button and the dark blue tie that was pulled slightly out like a salaryman would do on his way home.

'Greetings, what may I do for you today?' He said happily,

His cheeks went pink as you caught his gaze yours were however already pink due to your nerves and you guessed he just wanted to match.

'Mr Henderson sir. Miss y/n!!' Anya blurted out like a soldier of sorts,

You could hear her voice from a mile away before actually seeing the pink hair flutter as she came hurdling for the door to end up cuddling your knees though she quickly let go to stand by the stranger.

'Hi Anya,' You whispered just to her, your eye level at the girl before standing up and placing your hand out in front of you.

'Greetings sir, I'm assistant house master of Cecile house and the art teacher at Eden Academy Ms L/n, adjoining me today is housemaster of Cecile house and Miss Aynya's homeroom teacher Mr Henderson.'

'What may I do this honor Ms L/n,'

He took your hand and began to softly shake it, he didn't even make eye contact with Mr Henderson, still blushing.

'We just wanted to check that everything is alright at home after todays incident.'

His face tightened and he stepped aside and pointed towards the entrance.

'Please come in so we can discuss this further.'

You sat beside Mr Henderson sipping upon the small earl gray tea before placing it back on the small plate it came from. Both the stranger and Anya sat on the otherside, and rather Anya sat scarred worried about what would happen next. Mr Henderson explained what happened, and I saw the strangers face fell at largely stoic due to the issue at hand.

'Mr-' 'Mr Briar, Yuri Briar.' he whispered 'Mr Briar... rather than evolving any discipline actions I would rather like to leave things as is.' You whispered softly,

He looked at you and nodded, his head with a slight smile.

'Well seems things are in order here with you Mr Briar. We will get going now, send our greetings to Mr and Mrs Forger for us and both Ms Y/n and I will be on our way.'

You stood up and followed Mr Henderson who was further in front of you than you could see him.

'Ms Y/n, are you married or single Uncle Yuri wants to know!' Anya shouted,

You fumbled with your hands to the point it was obvious, face as red as tomatoes on vines.

'Anya you don't ask your teachers that!' he whispered harshly,

You stared towards the awaiting Henderson at the open front door.

'I'm single, Anya.' I whispered awkwardly,

She disappeared for a while before coming back with a small white card, it was thin that read 'Ministry for Foreign Affairs - Yuri Briar' with an attached phone number. You could see his face match the one of your own. You excused yourself and caught up to Mr Henderson seeing a chuffed look appear on his face.

You guessed he knew exactly what happened, you continued to hold the card with a blushing face trying to not to blush especially in front of him, your boss yet the possibilities were endless and you couldn't help but to think about them- well him...ย
