The banner flapped gently in the small breeze coming from the open gym doors, "simplicity and fortitude" you read the characters off the banner and smiled. Simplicity wasn't how you would put the johzenji High Volleyball team, they were the complete opposite with Yuji on their team. You wandered across the side of the court, you were with a bunch of other girls who loved staring at the guy's butts and choosing which one is going to be their next boyfriend. As you walked you felt a few odd looks, you turned your head to find nothing but a few odd eyed looks from Yuji. he stood staring at you as if he hadn't seen a woman in decades, his jaw was wide almost to the floor and as you walked all you could do was smile at him and give him a small wave as you disappeared to the second story to take you seat just a few seats away from banner. Today's game was against Nekoma and being excited was an understatement. The girls screamed the names of the boys that they had a fling with this week and while you didn't say anything you met the eyes of Yuji, he gave you a nod and you nodded back both of you smiling at one another just as the game began.

It was half time and both teams were at a draw, you could see on Yuji's face he wasn't happy. He sat upon the bench staring at the floor, you knew if he was going to be in this type of mood that he wasn't going to win the game. You stood up and excused yourself, it was like you hadn't left, they just continued on. You jumped down the two steps left, you walked past Nekoma waving at a few of the boys who had remembered who you were the last time they played. You stared upon the boy with a smile though he was still staring upon your school shoes, you lifted his head to see his glump face.

'Hey Yuji~' you sung,

He was glum yet the blush his face was telling a different story, you just smiled more as you stared at him.

'Yuji, yuji, my yuji!' you giggled in a sing-song voice,

He smirked, he looked away for a few good moments or two, before he finally stood up. You just smiled at him, a hand on his cheek as you stood on your tippy toes. His face was bright red as he stared down at you.

'You'll be okay! Don't work yourself too ha-'

The referee blew his whistle and the players began to walk back onto the court. He looked at you gently pulling your hand from his cheek. He placed it in his own, smiling upon you with a big dumb grin. He was shouted at to come on but you pulled his ear down to your lips you could tell it was tickling him but you continued on.

'You can do it my yuji.' you whispered.

You watched him disappear onto the court, and you would have liked to reappear back at your seats but you couldn't be bothered, so you picked up his things and sat with them in your lap till the end of things.

You jumped out of your seat, when they won. You bolted towards Yuji jumping into his arms, he had caught you and swung you around as if you were as light as anything. You screamed in his ear giggling as you did. He held you tightly, wrapping your legs around his waist. You looked at the boy for a moment. Some of the strands of his hair began to flicker forward, hiding his eyes. You swiftly pushed them away, staring into his eyes for a moment or so. He moved in to kiss you, you were about to kiss him back when the realisation that you were in public hit you. You both giggled and you kissed his cheek as he gently paced you upon the ground. He smiled and the other girls all screamed fangirling over the two of you. You couldn't help but blush, you turned away for a moment as you felt his lips against the curve of your ear, it made you shiver at his hot breath.

'I'll kiss you soon my love.'

he disappeared after that, leaving you with a red face, you covered your burning cheeks with your hand, you'll just have to get him back with that one, things are never so simplistic with him around.
