'So kid, how does it feel knowing you'll die soon?'

Summer crickets snickered in the prolonging distance, feet dangled in midair catching the breeze every now and again. Elbow to leg, hand to cheek with the most unfazed look you peered down upon him watching his face grimace as if he had seen a ghost or worse, shat himself. Interest began to scratch itself out of your dull eyes as the boredom seemed to disappear in a sudden array as his eyes met yours. His hand scratched the back of his neck and a smile began to infuriate you as it appeared on his face.

'Couldn't you ask anyone that question?' his voice was soft, sweet and the slight sound began to sooth his rather annoying face as you prolonged your stare at him.

The muscles in your face tweaked a smile before disappearing, 'No, it's different. It's like an average human has scales of life and death with every choice.' you paused, 'Normal people know they'll eventually die yet they don't have a prison sentence lying over their heads like you do... your own death row the rest of us are just the middle age visitors.'

You could see his face work like clockwork, trying to understand or even comprehend what you explained. He just smiled and while it caught you off guard to the point you despised it you wanted to see it more; 'I never thought about it like that-' 'Don't you ever want to let loose, I mean punish those who punished you?'

You were going to continue on, 'Third Year Y/n L/n, third years always like to stir up trouble don't they?' you could hear the beaming over enthusiasm in his voice that made you glump, gojo Satoru appeared looming over the boy,

'Speak for yourself, Satoru.' you pushed your body forward off the roof until your feet laid firmly in the dirt below. Your hands shoved in your pockets, your eyes kept on two before slipping to stare at their shoes reluctant to even make eye contact.

'Thought all the third years were on suspension?' he mocked, 'Got off because it wasn't me,'

You watched Satoru's eyes flicked between and he disappeared with a giggle that made you pissed off, your eyes flung back to the boy as he stood there still with a dull brainless smile, 'To answer your question, I don't want to-' he paused 'I have nothing to be angry about, I like everything.'

'We'll see if that changes,' you muttered as you pushed passed him,

For the only third year on campus things weren't particularly interesting with everyone else on suspension, you feet kicked the dirt, hands pushed further down into the pockets of your jumper as you walked in the moonlight until you fell upon the ground yard. Satoru stood there with his students and a shivering Yuji. He laid upon the ground half passed out with his eyes rolling in and out of consciousness.

You jumped the small picket fence and got close enough that you could hear his soft mutters and sharp, shallow breaths. You crouched down, hands slipping out of your pocket as you pulled his face towards yourself. You squeezed his cheeks, and watched his face come alive though he felt ice cold.

You pulled your jacket off and placed it on top of his shoulders, you lips tweaked as you smiled. You stood up and glared up at Satoru, his hands crossed smuggly, 'Trying to kill him hey?'

You watched Satoru smirk and make small kissing sounds 'No just waiting for you to kill him.'

That small memory played over your mind, you placed a tissue to your nose before the headache grew worse. Your head rolled back and hit the top of the arm of the sofa, your feet placed upon Hakari's lap his hands rubbing your shin every once and a while as you tried to get comfy enough to at least shut your eyes.

'Hey,' the soft sound of his voice, began to tick you off even more so than your cold,

Your eyes flicked towards the pink haired boy and Hakari stood up with an awfully pissed off look, 'You can deal with putting the demon back to sleep.' he grumbled escaping before you could get a chance to argue back with him for calling you a demon.

'Come here,' you muttered through a cough and swore throat,

He shuffled forward with the jumper in his hand, in a moment you yanked him, throwing him over your body and between you and the back of the sofa. His head pressed against the back and your arms softly wrapped around him using his shoulders as a pillow. You could feel his body tense up, yet you couldn't care.

'Y/n- I-' You could hear him stutter trying to ask what was the sudden desire for physical touch, in all honestly it would have been Hakari except his muscles were too tense and veins slightly uncomfortable, nothing that would honestly be relaxing.

'Just shut up and let me sleep.' You muttered,

Your eyes softly closed, hearing his breath made you hum softly, 'Can I at least tell Satoru where I am?'

'No,'

'Why not?'

'I said no, just no, now hush! I'm sleeping,'

'Night,' he hummed, softly as it disappeared into nothing,

'Just don't die yet Yuji,' you muttered softly in his ear, before letting the world disappear at your fingertips,
