Like everything, being a hero takes time and practice. Though from what you could tell as you stared at the blonde, you knew that thought never crossed his mind. He was frustrating himself, burning himself out because he wanted to get better fast and become the hero he wants to be though that takes time. He was pushing himself too much for the moment. His arms were visible purple and bleeding, new bruises consumed his much older ones and the visible sight of pain on his face made you realise how much he wanted to become a hero unlike some of your peers. You stood up from your hiding spot, Toshinori glared at you, gasping for air as you walked towards the boy standing in front of him seeing the fatigue and pain written all across his face.

'Y/n?' he questioned,

You stared blankly at him, the way he was going he would kill himself before he even became a hero.

'You need to stop, let me bandage you up.' you smiled,

He nodded his head, you grabbed one of the medical kits. Opening it up you grabbed a roll of bandages wrapping his arms slowly but tightly while he stood still so you could wrap his arms up.

'I- I want to become a hero, Y/n.' he paused. 'You just don't get it.'

You slapped him. You slapped him across his cheeks softly though hard enough to get a red handprint though.

'I do Toshinori, I really do but the way you're going you're gonna die before you even become a damn hero.' you growled,

You pulled the bandage tighter hearing him whimper before you loosed the bandage continuing to wrap it up on him.

'Y/n, I want to protect you and I want to protect everyone, and this is the only way I can do both.' He sighed,

Your cheeks went pink. He wanted to protect you. He wanted to protect you to keep you safe from harm and bad guys. Those thoughts continued to play on your mind as you moved to the next arm.

'To be a hero you must have patience, it takes time to crawl.' you sighed,

Toshinori just stared at you, the sound of the gym doors opening made a bigger blush form. A few classmates began to walk into the middle of the space obviously to begin their own workouts. You wondered what it looked like from their view, seeing both you and Toshinori extremely close. Did they think of you two as more than friends or did they just think you two were just close.

'Thanks Y/n.' he whispered,

You had finished the bandages on his other arm, you glared at him with a smile. You put the rest of the bandages in the medical box and place them back in their original spot before walking back to stare upon the much taller boy.

'To be a hero, you need your rest!' you paused 'you need to learn to crawl before you begin to even run or walk.' You giggled,

He nodded his head, you knew he was in over his head sometimes but that's what you admired about the boy. You grabbed one of his hands, holding it between both of your hands squeezing it softly.

'Why don't I take you to the convenient store, I'll buy whatever you please Toshinori!' you giggled,

You watched his face bright pink as you stared at him with sparkles in your eyes as he chuckled.

'Fine then Y/n.' he whispered,

The two of you left the building so you could take the boy away from the frustrating situation he found himself in. You were happy you could keep his mind off of things for the moment, you knew one day he would become the best hero he could ever be and keep you safe forever from those who tried to do you harm.
